The Sphere Builders are aliens from another dimension in the fictional Star Trek universe. They are bent on conquering the galaxy by reconfiguring the fabric of space to make it more hospitable to them using specially designed moon-sized spheres. They were first seen in the 2004 Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Harbinger". Their technology is responsible for the creation of a region of space known as the Delphic Expanse, where the physical laws of our universe often break down. The Expanse is extremely hostile to residents of our dimension, and those that enter have great difficulty in leaving....

This USS Enterprise (XCV 330) appears in Star Trek: The Motion Picture among a series of illustrations depicting ships named Enterprise. The 1979 Star Trek Spaceflight Chronology describes this "first interstellar liner" as a Declaration-class ship launched in 2123.[2]

The Xindi (pronounced /ˈzɪndi/) is the collective term for six fictional races in the science fiction television series Star Trek: Enterprise. They are native to the planet Xindus in a region of space known as the Delphic Expanse.
