In the halls, Captain Rex thought of what it would be like if HE were the one that betrayed the Republic. Of course it would never happen, but it was always in the back of his head.
"Okay Rex," Cody said. "As you know, the droid army in this city are being led by General Whoarm Loathsome."
Rex came back to his state of mind. "Yes sir."
"Okay, when Slick betrayed us, he destroyed all of our support ships, so we will have no reinforcements until we can make contact with the rest of the Republic." Cody said as they walked through the doors to the mess hall.
Rex thought back to when Slick was still a member of his legion. Slick was one of his best men. From his very first battle on Geonosis to the attack on Coruscant. Slick was a skilled man. Thats why Rex recruited him.
"Rex? Rex are you even listening to me?" It was Cody, and he was getting aggitated.
"Yes sir, sorry sir." Rex said.
Rex was getting more and more worried. If one clone could commit such a big blow, then why couldn't all of them do it? Was it him? Was he fit for a Captain? He remembered back on Kamino what his Commanding Officer had told him. "Even though you all were bred to obey, it doesn't mean you arn't human. Sometimes being a good soldier is doing what you think is right. Theres a thin line between following orders, and doing what you think is best."
Slick must of thought that was right. But Rex new that HE in particular would never put his brothers in harms way. And that was the right thing to do in Rex's mind.

She was waiting, waiting for the right time to show up and go to Rex's dorm.
She wore her maroon robe, over her PJ's.
Before she got there, she decided to talk to Barriss on Video Chat.

Ahsoka: Barriss, Barriss are you there?
The screen turns black.
Barriss: Hey, Ahsoka! I thought you were going to see Rex tonight.
Ahsoka: I'm on my way.
Barriss: Oh.
Ahsoka: Where are you? I can't see you.
Barriss: Under the desk.
Ahsoka: Why?
Barriss: Just watch.
Barriss stands up and turns the webcam on.
Ahsoka sees a girl in a purple jumpsuit with short purple hair.
Ahsoka: Wow! Barriss, you REALLY changed.
Barriss: I know. I love it.
Barriss twirls to show Ahsoka her whole outfit.
Ahsoka turns the PC off. And opens the door.
She gets to Rex's dorm and looks up at him.
Rex: Hello, love.
Ahsoka: *romantically* Hey.
They kiss.
They let go.
Rex: Well, we have a game of monopoly and "Rescue R2d2".
Ahsoka: Kay. Let's play.
