Frustrated that they did not reach the rebels in time, Vader took his anger out on Captain Needa. " You lost the FALCON! YOU TOLD ME WE WOULD MAKE IT IN TIME!" Vader said angrily.
" I...I thought we..we were stealthy enough to catch them by surprise...I'm sorry my Lord..NO..NO PLEASE D-!Ahh ahh" screamed Capt. Needa. Vader started to stranglehold him until he passed out.
" Hmmm...Yes. I'm sure you are. Apology excepted Captain Needa" said Vader with no empathy in his voice.
" Lord Vader we did manage to set a tracking device on the Falcon-They are headed for Bespin" said one of the Storm Troopers.
" Then that's where we head. To Cloud City." replied Vader with confidence.
Luke made his way to Dagobah and found the old Jedi Master Ben told him about. Yoda. Once they met, Yoda instructed him in further teachings of the force. He couldn't concentrate. He kept seeing Leia and Han in the clouds in danger.
" I have to go, they may be in great danger." said Luke frantically. " Stay, you must. Always in motion the future is. You do not know their fate" said Yoda wisely.
" But I have to try. I cant just let them die there. Master Yoda I will return. I promise." replied Luke. And he left.
" Hey ya Pirate. How ya doing" said Lando as he greeted Han and Leia to the Cloud City.
" Whoa..what have we here. Clearly you belong in the clouds being the gorgeous Angel you are" he said to Leia.
" Thanks...Leia is fine though." she said not amused.
He took them on a tour of of Bespin city. Then showed them their room so they could change and meet up with him for dinner.
"So, your a business Man now. Never imagined you the serious type after all the gambling we did together." teased Han.
" Yeah...I actually haven't done too bad for myself. The Empire stays away, I have no problems...In fact I just made a deal that will keep the Empire out of here forever." said Lando nervously
A door to the dinning area opened and their stood Vader at the end of the table. Stormtroopers gathered around. " Im sorry. I had no choice, they made it here a short while before you did."
Vader took Han and Leia and put them into the prison chambers. He then commanded that Leia be put on his ship back to the Empire, so he could keep an eye on her. She refused to give information about Luke, so he asked Han then tortured him.
" I need to test this carbon chamber to see if it allows me to freeze humans" said Vader " We shall test it on Captain Solo."
Leia looked at Han as he was placed over the carbon freezing chamber. " I love you" she confessed. " I know" he replied softly. They kissed one last time.
Han survived the freezing process. And was given to a bounty hunter named Boba Fett to be taken to Tatooine. Leia and Chewie managed to escape with Lando.
Luke arrived too late. He was alone in Cloud city. He entered the Carbon freezing room to find Lord Vader waiting for him with his lightsaber ready.
" You have become powerful young one. But your not a Jedi yet." said Vader. Luke turned on his saber. " You'll find Im full of surprises" They started dueling. " Give it up boy. Your weak and Obi-Wan is no longer with you to help." taunted Vader
" NEVER! Not until I avenge my father." replied Luke with a swing of his lightsaber. Vader knocked him down on to a steep and narrow ledge.
" Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father did he" asked Vader. " He told me enough. He told me you killed him." said Luke with rage.
" NO Luke. I..Am your Father." revealed Vader. Luke was shocked beyond words. " NO...NO..NO that's impossible. YOU CANT BE!" Luke screamed.
" Join me my son, come to the dark side and we shall rule together as father and son." suggested Vader.
Luke Jumped. He fell through the bottom of the Bespin station. " Leia...come back"
" WE have to turn around. I know where Luke is. Chewie do it." demanded Leia.
They went back. And she knew where Luke was. They rescued him. And Left for Tatooine to save Han. Vader was still standing where Luke had left him. He knew his son was thinking about the Princess.
That is not what disturbed him. Vader thought back on the first day he set eyes on the Lovely royal. And how she told him her parents were dead. How Bail Organa said her father died in the Jedi purge.
Then...it hit him. The reason Leia reminded Vader of Padme, and the reason Luke was so close to her, in that they almost knew each-others thoughts and feelings...Is because Leia is Vader's daughter.
He not only had a son, he had a daughter. Padme gave birth to twins right before she died. And this Princess is his own little girl. For a moment behind that dark and evil looking mask Lord Vader shed a tear. " She is so beautiful, she looks so much like her mother." He thought to himself.
Keeping this a secret, he composed himself. And headed for his ship. He knew it was only a matter of time before Luke would come to him. Now that he knows THE TRUTH.
