blackness engulfed Stormstar as an image appeared before her. She was standing near the river, on the pebles of the shore. Everything was blurry then from a distance, she saw a blurry vision of a giant bird of prey! It was twice the size of any cat but it was to far and blurry for her to understand what kind of bird it was.
"Stormstar! Stormstar are you listening?" Mistyflower's voice interupted Stomstars thoughts and her eyes flew open!
She was standing, in the center of Stormclan camp. Her clanmates surrounded her as they waited for Mistyflower to assign them to a patrol. She could just see the first traces of dawn in the sky.
Stormstar hesitated, Mistyflower surpressed a sigh then turned to Spottedshadow. "You will lead Dawnsky, Bloodpool, and Foxpaw on the dawn patrol." Mistyflower ordered, "and Skyheart, Nightstalker, and I will be on the midnight patrol! Everyone else will be hunting." Mistyflower announced.
The clan began to break up after Mistyflower flicked her tail. Then once the clan was out of earshot she spoke to Stormstar, "this is the third time in two dawns that you trailed off and got distracted, is something wrong?" Stormstar shook her head, Mistyflower sighed once more then walked away to join Wavestorm and Bluefire on a hunting patrol.
Stormstar decided to go for a walk in the forest. Mistyflower was right, Stormstar had been having the blurry vision daydream for many dawns now. She was never getting any sleep because of the dream. Although no matter how many times she had it, it never got any less blurry.
As Stormstar trotted through the forest, she heard the flapping of wings, Stormstar bristled her fur and stared up at a huge bird!
She reconized the white head, along with the brown feathered wings, and yellow beak, it was an eagle! A huge bird of prey that had been feared by cats for lifetimes!
But thats impossible, she thought, eagles dont strive around here anymore!
Then the eagle took to the sky, the brown branch bounced under its weight as it desended. It began to fly towards the camp! Imediatly the image of Fernkit, Featherkit, or Daisykit being carried away on its thorn sharp claws appeared in Stormstars mind.
She raced after it, hissing and yowling, trying to warn the clan. But then, as the wind whipped her face, she crashed into a tree and went limp, her conquenceness slowly fadding away........

When Stormstar awoke, she was back in the vision but it had changed. For the first time nothing was blurry, everything was as clear as day!
She was lying at the river on the pebbly shore. The watter lapped at her gray fur and soothed her stress. The sun shone brightly though the trees, birds sang, she could hear the mice scuffling, the rabbits nibbling on the newly grown grass.
Then she bared her teeth in a snarl, her back fur bristled, and her claws shot out. She saw, sitting on a branch watching her, was an eagle.
The eagle had its eyes narrowed into hers, then it took flight in the air and flew towads the camp. "No" she screached, shooting after it, her paws dashing towards the camp.
Soon she reached the camp entrance, but the camp was bocked in by weeds! Nothing could get in or out! She tried to slash the weeds with her claws but it was no use, they were to tightly woven!
Then she noticed the eagle was sitting on a branch inside the camp, on a narrowed tree. It watched the camp closly but made no flinch to go towards the bottom of the tree and in the camp. Although inside the weeded barrrier she could hear the laughter of Fernkit and Featherkit as they tussled on the ground, she could hear Spruceleaf and Bluefire talking not to far from them, Stormstar didnt understand, how was the clan so oblivous to the eagle.
Then she saw, out of the side of her eye a wolf sitting only inches away watching her. She turned her head and stared wide-eyed at Nightstar!
But then he turned his eyes towards the camp and seemed shocked at what he was looking at! Stormstar followed his gaze and noticed foxes heading towards the camp!
It was a whole army of Foxes at least twenty, Stormclan wouldnt stand a chance!
She turned her head back towards the camp, but the clan still seemed oblivious to it all. Then she heard the eagle let out a yowl, it souded like a battle cry. Imediatly the clan stopped laughing and talking happily and all fell silent.
The foxes then reached the entrance and started pullig the weeds off but then the eagle swooped down in the air and glided towards the foxes.
The foxes scattered, yowling in fear as it passed above there heads, Stormstar starred in amazement as the last of the foxes dissopeared, in the shadows of the trees. The eagle had just saved her clan!
Then she turned to Nightstar who was now standing a mouse-length infront of her......
"When the eagle takes flight, all will soar on its wings" he prophosized, "but remember my love, the prophocy is seasons away from now, and it will only come true, when the weather has changed in the sky...."
Then Stormstar awoke, she was lying where she had gotten knocked out by the tree. All was quiety, she sniffed the air but all signs of the eagle had vanished, "its as if......the eagle......was never here......."
