Herds of many cats tip toe in the shadows from the east. The crescent moon shines above but no stars are watching tonight.
The cat leading the others, leaps on a boulder, and sniffs the air. He was a black tom with white spots. Then he turns back to the clan. "hurry! Its this way!"
The leader jumps down from the boulder and charges for the lake, with the clan following.
As they reach the lake, they stop infront of a giant oak tree, the leader stops and sniffs the air again, then he signals to the clan to slacken as well.
The toms eyes lit with fire as he turned to his followers. "Berrystar!" The tom spat to his clan.
"Yes" A voice behind him, towards north, hissed. He glanced back and saw Berrystar with her clan, BerryClan, ready for battle.
"Nightstar" she hissed to the tom, "What are you doing here?!"
"Im here to take the Great Oak back!" He hissed in defiant.
"You mean the biggest oak tree in the world, that is said to contain thousands of birds, squerrls, shipmonks, mice, and rabbits?" Berrystar challenged.
"Of course mouse-brain!" Another voice in the direction of the south growled.
Berrystar and Nightstar glanced south and saw Leafstar, with her clan Jayclan. Many cats stood silhoutted behind her, there claws sharpended and fangs bared.
"This doesnt concern you Leafstar!" Berrystar hissed. "Oh, but it does dear Berrystar! My clans growing and food is getting scarce! What better way to find more prey then concuring one oak tree instead of concuring thousands of territories!" Leafstar growled.
"Scram tresspassers!" A hiss from the west nearly interupted Leafstar, all three leaders glanced over but were not shocked to see Fernstar, with her cats of Stormclan.
"This Oak tree is the closest to Stormclan of any other clan! So therefor i demand it be ours!"
"Is that a challenge?!" Nightstar snarled.
"Are your words supposed to be a threat or a promise?!" Fernstar hissed back.
All four leaders raised there tails, signaling for there cats to get reading for battle. Then they dropped there tails and many cats raced for eachother sneering and snarling. Apprentaces and mentors, queens and deputies, all aiming for the legiondary Great Oak.
Four clans, NightClan, StormClan, JayClan, BerryClan, from four directions, north, east south, and west! One Oak tree. Help coment and fight in the battle! Hurry your clans counting on you!
