A puff of steam. Soft and silver steam. Pearly. Then, among the thick fog, a well-known and beloved figure:Princess Peach. Joy died in Bowser.Peach narrowed her eyes. Now she looked him like a gendarme looks at a condemned man.
She started going around him like famished wolf.
"Do you expect the gentle, stupid, defenseless girl? Too bad I was never that."
Bowser didn't understand where this argument would ward.Peach went on. He kept looking at her. "You have no idea why for all these years, I have never rebelled against you that much, while I was transported to your castle?"
Bowser looked down. With an angry snap, Peach grabbed him by the ruby-colored tufts, forcing him to keep his gaze fixed on her. She had a terrifying force.
"Look at me, dreamer!" Was it an impression of Bowser, or Peach's blue sky irises were darkening ?
"Yeah, you're a dreamer-assed. One who never noticed that his beauty teases him since the beginning.Do you know I really, really enjoyed to rove about the castle?"Bowser seemed forlorn by the sudden Peach's turnabout .
He sighed deterred.
"Let me know..why was so much fun for you .. doing it?"
Peach, to seeing him so dejected, broke out into a laughter half way between the one of Fawful and that of Cackletta. A creepy laughter.
"But because it allowed me to send useful items to Mario and Luigi, to find every secret corner, hidden underground and so on and so forth!"
Bowser opened his eyes wide.
"You haven't figured out yet, eternal thwarted? I have used you the whole time! I turned over the omelet to my advantage!"
On hearing this comparison with food, Bowser came to mind, with a shudder of revulsion, the crowds Fawful.
