Once Nathen came back down from Carlisle seeing how well he was healing we headed back to our house. I was happy again. Those 3 and a half days I didn't smile or laugh the whole time it was too hard of a situation for me. I never knew that something could bring me down so hard. When Nathen had lost his memory, I didn't have any hope at all that he was going to get it back. I was so sad, well that doesn't even describe the emotions I went through the whole time, but now everything was back to normal and I was more than thrilled. Nathen and I were sitting on the couch well i was lying down while my head rested on his shoulder and he stroked my hair. We stared at each other eyes in silence for the longest until he broke the silence.
What are you thinking about? He ask.
How happy I am, and how I'm so thankful that your back to normal. I said.
Me too. I'm sorry that I hurt you so much. He told me.
It's not your fault. I said.
Nathen had lifted me up gently and sat me in his lap and kissed me. I don't know how to put it were it wont sound weird but how to put it strait forward. So here it goes, We did it and it was great thats all I want to say. It was amazing! Days went on and everything was normal Nathen didn't do much patroling, I was to scared for him to and for him to leave me again.
Nathen and me were making breakfast one morning when all of the sudden I had to run to the bathroom. I felt horrible. I started throwing up once I had reached the bathroom and Nathen was coming in the bathroom after me.
Whats wrong honey? He ask as he was grabbing my hair so I wouldn't get anything in it.
I manage to say I don't know in between barfing and having dry heaves.
He stayed there and held my hair up and got me a cold washrag from the linen closet. Once I was done throwing up, I didn't have enough energy to move from the floor to the bed. I just laid there for a couple of minutes waiting to see if I had felt any better and well it never went away. Nathen finally got fed up with me just lying there so he moved me to the bed and then went and got Carlisle.
I feel asleep right when Nathen laid me on the bed. I slept really good.I woke up with Nathen lying beside me.
Hey, how ya feelin? He asked.
Sorta better but then again like crap. I said.My stomach hurts.
You want something to eat? He offered.
Not really. How about some Kool-aid! I said.
Okay, be back in a second. He said and kissed me on the top of my head.
Don't kiss me you might get what I have. I told him.
Um, wolves don't get sick. He said.
Oh okay. I said.
I felt so stiff so I got out of the bed and followed him to the kitchen. I walked in there and noticed that I felt huge and fat. I looked down at my stomach and noticed that I had more fat on my stomach than before.
When I was looking at my stomach I ask Nathen if I looked bigger and he of course politely said no.
Tell me the truth, please. I told him.
Okay just this little part right here. He said coming and touching my stomach.
Nathen gave me a glass of kool-aid and I drank half of the glass and then right when I felt it hit the bottom of my stomach I ran to the bathroom. I was throwing up again. I didn't know what was worse the red kool-aid coming up or the fact that I was throwing up. This time I knew when I was done throwing up so Nathen took me to the bed afterwards. I feel asleep again, but when I woke up I was in my old bed room hooked up to an IV. Nathen was lying right beside me.I felt horrible this time around. Carlisle walked into the room.
I know why you have been throwing up and feeling horrible. He said.
Really. I managed to get out not very loud as I wanted.
Your ready for the news. He said.
Is it that bad? I ask.
No, its wonderful! Carlisle said with a gigantic smile on his face.
Ok.. I said.
You are going to have a baby. He said smiling so big.
Really. I said with a hint of questioning to it.
Yes, your going to have a baby. Carlisle repeted.
Wow. I said looking at Nathen.
His smile could have lit up a dark a dark room.
Wow, I'm going to have a baby. I said.
Not just one but two. Carlisle said.
I'm having twins! I was thrilled now.
Yep. Carlisle said.
I was in shock now and I guess Nathen was too because he hadn't said one word sinse Carlisle told us.
Nathen, are you okay? I ask with concern.
Yeah, I'm fine. He said.
Okay. I said, while getting out of bed and pulling the i.v. out of my hand.
Addi, get back into bed. Nathen told me.
No, I'm fine. I told him.
Addi. Nathen said with authority.
Nathen, I'm fine. I said.
I looked down at my stomach and it was now way bigger than the last time I saw it. It had to be atleast 3 times as bigger. I went and found Carlisle in his office.
Carlisle can I speak with you? I ask.
Certainly. Come in sit down. He told me.
Um, this isn't a normal pregnancy is it? I ask.
No, Addi it's not.He told me.
Oh okay. I don't know what to do. I said.
I know your are 10 weeks along and they are growing fast. He said.
Wow, I didn't know it would be that fast. I told him.
Yes, it is because they have half of Nathen in them and wolves grow faster. He said.
Will they grow at the rate of Renesme? I ask.
No once they the size of a full baby thier growth will slow down and it will be more like your growth than Nathens. He said.
Oh okay, thats weird. I said.Thanks.

Wow, I couldn't believe it I was going to be a mother. I walked down stairs and everyone was sitting in the living room.Alice was the first one over to me.
Can we go shopping? She ask smiling.
Sure,of course but not right now. I said.
Okay, just let me know! She said and danced away.
I went to the kitchen and got me some icewater. I didn't want to chance myself with throwing up again. Carlisle walked into the kitchen
Addi, can I take a look at your wrist? He ask.
Sure. I said and followed him out of the room and upstairs. Carlisle ended up cutting the cast off and taking x-rays of it. It felt fine so while the x-rays were developign I went and found Nathen.
