Survivor Article: Survivor is stupid

This is perhaps one of the worst shows ever made for television. First, these "survivors" are not anything remotely close to what a true survivor would be. Someone who actually would be worried about finding food or finding shelter wouldn't be sitting around on logs whining about how they got their feelings hurt. And these stupid little "games" they play where people are eliminated. How does this have anything to do with "surviving?" Just becuase the show takes place on a tropical island doesn't mean they couldn't film the same show in downtown Los Angeles. Just throw them all in a giant sandbox and let them whine there. Survivor is a terrible influence on America today. That one should lie, deceive, cheat, and hate one another, to gain money are terrible values. We should not put entertainment above what we truely believe as Americans, that each of us are important to each other. We have enough negativity in America that showing it on T.V. should be entertaining. We have enough stress and negativity in our own lives that seeing others create it for entertainment is appalling.

amberblue The final four women and how they achieved that end really had me thinking and hoping and praying that I raised my daughters better than the four of you young girls or I should say adult women. Shame on you all and the deceitful way you went about getting that young man to give up the necklace. You could not win immunity yourselves fairly so you chose to cheat this young man of his by lying cheating and basically stealing it from him. I know the priciples of the game are to lie, cheat and do just those things but they way you did that young man you all will pay for long time in the payback of life dues for that one.....a wise soul

snap1234 Yes, I totally agree. It's not only stupid, it's boring and senseless. On top of that it's a waste of time and 'space' which could have been put to better use. I turn off the TV whenever I see 'survivor' show....just plain weird. All that stupid acting, pretending that the cameraman is not filming makes my hair stand on ends!
