The snowstorm had come from out of nowhere and caught Adam and Jasmine by surprice.
Adam had invited Jasmine over for dinner since he was alone until tomorrow night and felt like he wanted some company.
"Looks like we are going to be snowed in." Adam said as he looked out the window.
"Yeah, I might have to stay here tonight."
Adam flinched, Having her stay over would be a dream come true but he knew that he would never have the nerve to do anything with her.
"Y-yeah.." he said "It seems like it."
After dinner they decided to watch a movie to get the time to go and they settled on "Cinderella".
They watched the movie and commented on the parts they liked and debated them when they disagreed on something and both seemed to enjoy eachothers company no matter how forced on them it was.
"Here comes my favorite part." said Jasmine, It was the dance between Cinderella and Prince Charming.
"Really?"
"Yes, I don't like the concept of love at first sight but this just seems so romantic."
Just when she said this the room turned dark and it became silent.
"PLEASE don't tell me it is a blackout!" Jasmine yelled in annoyance, "Right at the best part!"
This gave Adam an idea, he picked up his smartphone from his pocket and turned on the flashlight function and Jasmine did the same.
"Wait here."
Adam went out to the kitchen and seemed to be searching for something and he came back a few minutes later with candles and a matchbox.
"What are you-"
"Wait and see." he said with a smile that she could hardly see in the dark.
He placed the candles in strategic locations and lit them one after the other until the room was lit up enough to see a little better.
They turned off the flashlights and sat there admiring the calm and pleasant atmosphere.
"Any more "bright" ideas?" Jasmine asked with a cute laugh.
"As a matter of fact." Adam replied and stood up.
He picked up his phone a second time and music began playing.
He walked over to Jasmine and asked "Puis-je avoir cette danse mademoiselle?"
"Oui" she replied slightly shocked both at him asking and that he did it in french.
He reached out his hand to her and she took it and let him guide her to the middle of the room.
He put his right hand around her waist and took her right hand in his left and they started to dance slowly to the music.
"Y-you are really good at this." Jasmine said and blushed a little.
"Thanks, I have had a lot of practice."
They danced slowly over the floor trying their best not to bump into the furniture that Adam had forgotten to move before they started.
"So how does this feel?" he asked her with a smile.
"A little weird" she moved in closer and wispered in his ear "But I can get used to it." and then she embraced him as they continued dancing.
They danced throu Adam's whole playlist and when it was over Jasmine leaned in to kiss him.
Then the lights came on.
"Cool the power is ba-"
Jasmine grabbed him by the collor and forced him in close enough to kiss him right on the lips and dragged him down with her on the floor.
Then she took his hand and dragged him over to his bedroom door and pushed him up against it and began to undress him.
"Jas-"
Jasmine didn't give him much time to talk, she had already unbuttoned his jeans and know she opened the door and shoved him into the room and down on the bed.
She closed the door behind them and locked it even thou Adam lived alone in the apartment.
Jasmine started to unbutton her purple blouse and when she was done she let it slide down on the floor and was later joined by her black skirt.
Adam who had figured out were this was going had removed his shirt and pants and were now digging in a drawer by the bed.
He found what he was looking for and Jasmine turned off the lights in the room and they began.
