It’s summer…the best time of year to binge on all the shows you haven’t had time for until now.

The latest worthy of watching is the all-new Season 3 of Netflix’s fan-fav comedy UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT.

The lovable Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) returns with a hankering to hit the books as she heads to college. Her new educational outing brings a fresh pack of college besties, including ‘Josie’ played by actress Rachael Meyers. Standing at 6’2”, this real-life former collegiate athlete brings her A-game to the series, scoring plenty of laughs.

Rachael Meyers recently took time to answer a few questions:

Describe for us your role on UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT.

RACHAEL: I play one of Xan's three roommates - a trio of athletes committed to their team. We don't like Xan, but we love Kimmy.

How was it to work alongside Ellie Kemper? And, also with the creator Tina Fey?

RACHAEL: They were both wonderful. Ellie is so vibrant and gracious. Every morning you were greeted with a smile, even though you know, being a new mom, she was probably up all night. She was always on her game. And Tina is the producer you always hope for. When we walked on set, she was the first person with an outstretched hand introducing herself. Her crew loves her. There wasn't a bad egg on set, and that's a testament to how Tina, Rob and their producing team run the show.

What would you consider your character's ‘best’ quality? And their ‘worst’?

RACHAEL: Josie's best quality would probably be her loyalty. Her worst - she can be a little judgmental sometimes.

Any funny stories from behind-the-scenes?

RACHAEL: There's a scene in Episode 6 where Josie has a nip slip in the bookstore - tastefully hidden by a hat rack. The direction was to put myself back into my top after my line. Well after a couple takes, Don came over and asked if I could make a bigger deal out of the lift and replacement. I said, "So basically give myself bigger boobs. I can do that!" So, I got to give myself a fake boob job for the shot. It was great.

You also recently premiered your own project called TRUMP’d, right?

RACHAEL: Yes, if you love musical theatre satire, check it out. You can catch it on YouTube. Video 2 will be premiering shortly.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned from creating your own projects?

RACHAEL: I've learned quite a few, but the most important is probably the sense of control over your own destiny. As an actor, you can sometimes feel like the fate of your world rests in the hands of everyone but your own. So, instead of waiting for the phone to ring, you can create your own content and with that, opportunities. When you make this shift in thinking, the rest of the world opens up too.

And, now just for fun:
Who’s your favorite actor/actress?

RACHAEL: I'm a great admirer of both Charlize Theron and Kate Winslet's work.

What role from the past do you wish you could have played?

RACHAEL: Eliza Doolittle in MY FAIR LADY

Favorite movie or TV show from your childhood.

RACHAEL: Movies: I loved INDIANA JONES and also THE PRINCESS BRIDE. TV: Couldn't get enough of FRIENDS.

Tell us one thing that would surprise our readers to learn about you.

RACHAEL: You wouldn't know it to look at me, but I'm part Cherokee.

How can fans keep up with you?

RACHAEL: You can find me on Instagram at link or Twitter at link

Children and many of their parents have come to love the Disney Junior animated series “The Lion Guard,” a spinoff of the heralded award-winning original “The Lion King.” This new storyline followed Simba’s son, Kion, as he leads a group of friends in protecting the Pride Lands.

With the recent release of the remaining third and final season episodes, the Lion Guard embarked on a journey to the Tree of Life. It was there that fans were introduced to the soft-spoken lioness, Nirmala, who through healing sessions with Kion, teaches the values of patience and self-reflection as a means...

The second season of the acclaimed reboot of “Perry Mason” has taken audiences way beyond the ‘whodunit’ cases of the original.

Matthew Rhys, Juliette Rylance and Chris Chalk star in the noir period crime drama, seeking truth and justice which proves to be a complicated task with unpredictable twists and turns along the way.

Beginning with the “Chapter Ten” episode, actor Brian Norris recurs in the storyline as Twist, a local gun dealer in the sketchy part of town who gets caught up in a murder case.

Brian isn’t new to drama, he recurred as Paparazzo Felty ABC’s daytime soap,...

If you take a bit of quirk, a dash of empathy and a pinch of acceptance, then send it off to the Renaissance Faire – you get the new Lifetime dramedy series “American Princess.”

Created by writer-actress Jamie Denbo and executive produced by "Orange is the New Black" team Jenji Kohan, Tara Herrmann and Mark A. Burley, this slightly raunchy comedy follows a Manhattan socialite (Georgia Flood) who runs off to join the Renaissance Faire after her wedding crashes. Of course, her actions aren’t going over very well with family and friends, including her superficial and not-so-bright bestie...
