The Remote:
The episode begins with the Watterson family excitedly talking about the show they plan on watching that evening. Gumball and Darwin want to watch Cutie Pets to see the picture they submitted on make it on TV, Nicole wants to watch Win or Don't Win to win a new microwave, and Anais wants to watch a new episode of the Daisy the Donkey show. All is well until they realize their shows air at the exact same time: eight o'clock. They all rush into the living room where Richard is, who informs them that he has been saving his seat all night for the series finale of La Casa De Las Lagrimas. Unfortunately, Richard had already hidden the remote, and after informing the family of this, he promptly falls asleep on the couch. An argument ensues in the living room, going on until Anais exasperatedly decides to go to her room, loudly wishing she could buy her own remote. This gives Nicole the idea to do so, and she immediately leaves the house.
While Nicole is gone, Gumball and Darwin realize that they can change the channel by pressing the buttons on the TV manually. Gumball attempts to do so, but collapses before he can make it due to being too lazy. Darwin gets him back on the couch and breaks a chocolate bar to give to Gumball so he can feel better. When Richard hears the snap of the chocolate bar, he immediately awakens and asks for it. While the boys are taunting him with it, the phone rings. Anais gets it, and it is Nicole, who wants to know what brand the TV is, which Anais informs her of.

After the boys give him the chocolate bar, he tells them a riddle and they soon find out that it meant the remote is between their father's butt, but not after thinking that the remote is in a valley shaped like a butt and going there. When Gumball and Darwin move Richard, they discover a hole in the couch where he was sitting, and that the remote is not there. Since Nicole had gone to the store, they figure that only one person who could have gotten the remote was Anais. Richard and the boys go upstairs to their bedroom, where they find Anais sewing up her Daisy the Donkey plush. Richard and the boys confront Anais about the remote, and Gumball snatches Daisy from Anais's hands, using the doll as hostage. Surprisingly, Anais quickly pulls the remote out from behind the desk. As she is about to give them the remote, she promptly smashes it on the ground in front of them, much to the boys' dismay. After Gumball threatens to destroy the Daisy doll, she tells the group that Nicole went to the store to buy another remote, and they rush off to the store get it from her, with Gumball giving Anais back her Daisy plush. Gumball asked Anais why she wasn't coming with them, to which she replied that she did not care about watching TV anymore, and that she only needed her Daisy plush.

At the parking lot of the mall, Nicole is seen stepping out from an elevator, but is suddenly confronted with an angry Gumball, Darwin and Richard staring her down. The boys shout to attack, and an epic battle-chase scene commences, with everyone prying to get the remote from each other's hands. At one point, Richard gets the remote, and the boys run straight into his gut in an attempt to grab it, which causes them to be knocked unconcious momentarily, only to have Nicole steal the remote back from her husband. Everyone makes their way to the next level of the parking garage and Nicole is cornered. To the boys' surprise, she jumps from the parking lot to the next building, landing perfectly and making a run for it. The boys decide to just take the stairs instead of following her. Richard however, decides to try the same trick his wife did, but fails horribly and smashes into the building. Nicole starts running for the gate of the parking lot, but the arm suddenly starts to go down. Gumball and Darwin get down the stairs and notice the gate closing, so Gumball shouts to his mother that not paying the toll would make her a bad role model to her children. As she hastily sprints towards the exit, she digs frantically through her skirt pockets for the correct change, but when she finds it, it is too late and she is clotheslined by the gate's arm, knocking the change out of her hand and, most importantly, the remote she bought. Gumball thanks Nicole for being a good citizen as he grabs the remote, and he and Darwin run home.

Soon, everyone arrives at the house, and they begin to fight over the remote again, pressing the buttons on the remote in the process. A repetitive smashing sound can be heard as they press the buttons, and Gumball points out that the remote their mother bought was not a TV remote, but a remote for their neighbour's garage door. He then angrily asks his mother why she bought a garage door remote, to which she informs him that Anais told her what brand of remote to buy. Gumball and everyone else then slowly begin to realize that the entire thing was Anais' scheme from the very beginning. The family recounts how Anais gave her mother the idea to buy another remote by yelling that she wished she could buy her own, when Nicole called and asked Anais what kind of TV they had so she could get a second remote, Anais overhearing Richard's riddle and stealing the remote from underneath him by cutting a hole in the couch, and when Anais apparently smashed the remote, which it turns out, was actually a calculator. They throw down the garage door remote and rush to the window where they see Anais sitting in the living room, unzipping the back of her Daisy doll and taking out the real remote. The rest of the family watches with horror as Anais switches from the channel of Richard's show, in which case he exclaims "Oh, Madre Mia!" and passes out outside, to the Daisy the Donkey show, as the camera zooms in dramatically on Anais' face as she joyously watches her show, while the Daisy the Donkey theme song ominously plays in the background before the screen fades to black.

The Colossus:
It starts out at the Watterson's house where Gumball and Darwin are on the computer, using Shotofop to make changes to a photo. After uploading to Elmore Plus, they went to see their friend request to Hector which was denied. So they went to Hector's house. When the two got there they met his mother who Gumball finds very ugly and his same size. Hector hears him and his mom told him it was nothing. So then she tells them to get off her property even though Gumball wants to talk to him.
At school, Gumball tries to talk with Hector along with his friend request even spitting spitballs at his butt. After a bunch of more spitballs, the entire things falls off Hector and landed on Gumball and Darwin. Gumball decided to leave him alone after that and called him boring anyway. Hector got his attention by it and confusedly asked Darwin if he is boring. Darwin says he is much less interesting. Hector says he does lot of cool stuff. Gumball asked him what he does.

Hector brings them to his house to show them his bedroom when his mom is not around. Gumball and Darwin find a hamster which belongs to Hector which is not alive. Hector was told by his mom that he is "hibernating". Darwin finds a comic belonging to Hector which is the first issue of Captain Punch. At first Gumball now calls him not boring anymore then he and Darwin read it only to discover it was drawn all over. Hector said that's how it was when his mom gave it to him. Gumball and Darwin decided to go back home, but Hector stops them so he can tell jokes that he and his mom do all the time. Hector tells why the chicken cross the road. Gumball doesn't know. He then says its for a "legitimate reason". Gumball responds by saying it was not a joke, it was a sentence. At that point, the music box turns on and Hector goes to sleep. Gumball picks up his diary and reads it to discover his secrets. He finds out things like he must not laugh, get over excited, shout, and sneeze. To them it was a how to guide to ruin a life. Darwin asked him who told him to write it all down. Gumball points out is was his mother. Hector's mom pops out and asked them why they were in his sons's bedroom. Gumball asked why she was trying to take a fun out of his life. After a brief conversation, they were told to leave.

Gumball and Darwin on a bench eating lunch with Hector next to them on a building eating a turkey sandwhich. Gumball wonders if Hector knows what his mom is doing to him, but Darwin said it's not their business. Hearing this, Gumball gets angry and decides to have a talk to Hector. He says it not his fault he's boring and says it's his mom's fault for him being boring. He tells him to tell her to get him real comics and movies. Darwin cuts him off at a real live hamster because he does not want him to know. Hector responds saying she's doing what's best for him. Gumball responded by asking if it isn't best for him to laugh, cry, and sneeze. He finally starts hitting him Darwin tells him he was hitting his toes, but Gumball knows. He now asked is he was going to stand up to her. Hector says he was in an angry tone.

When the boys got to the cave, Hector is already arguing with his mother because he is boring. He's ended it by saying he's going to show what he's got. Hector leaves the cave still angry with his mother, who is saying to try his breathing technique to calm down, but he responds by saying that was boring too. Hector's mom asked what Gumball and Darwin has done to his son. Gumball said they just improve his life. She asked what they know about giants. All he knew was that they were just big. She says yes and so are their emotions. She explains to them she was giving him a calm life, not a boring one. If a giant isn't calm, the giant starts destroying things. Hector starts destroying some of the forest. Next he moves on into the town. Hector destroys The Robinson's house. In response without noticing the damage, Mr. Robinson tells his now shocked wife to close the window. The Doughnut Sheriff attempts to stop him, but that is when he stomps on his car and decides to let him pass. Hector screams at a bunch of senior citizens saying he is not boring. Everyone else is blown away except the Old Mouse who asked what Hector said.

Back at the cave, Darwin knew they had to do something to stop him. Gumball gets an idea to use Hector's mom witch broom to go and get him. He fails to fly as she said she's also a cleaning lady and the one he chose was just a normal broom. So the three got the witchy ones and flew off. Everyone was used to it except for Gumball who is afraid at flying at this height. Hector's mom explained they needed to be this high in order to get close to her son's head and play the music box. Now before they go on, Gumball apologizes to her. She said don't sweat it. She next said she is going to try to calm Hector down and she is going to give the music box to him. She throws it, but it falls. She tells to go get it while she and Darwin leads Hector somewhere safer. Gumball stops his broom, but this causes him to fall. While falling to the ground, Gumball sees his broom and goes to grab. He does it just in time before he hits the ground. The broom takes off again and just when the senior citizens got back into their positions. The broom knocks everyone out of their seat except the old mouse who fell off seconds later. Gumball was out of control and tries to stop the broom, but ends up skidding across the street. The good news was that he got the music box. The bad news was Hector who was about to step on him, but Darwin saves him in the matter of seconds. Gumball now commands Darwin to bring him up to Hector's ear. Only problem was is that the broom was carrying to much weight so Gumball was going to have to jump. This is a problem to him because he didn't want to grab onto Hector's butt. Darwin tells him to do it anyway. It results in Gumball squeezing his butt, startling Hector, and Hectors swats him away to another part of his fur. While climbing, Darwin goes to meet Gumball with a smug on his face. He tells him before he can judge other people's life choices, he should judge his first. Gumball tells him to take a good long look at the duck. Darwin asked him what duck which results a duck hitting him. Gumball finally gets to his ear and tries to wind up the music box, but loses it when Hector's foot slid on a food van. Seeing what had happened, Hector's mom tells Gumball to whistle the tune in his ear. So then he starts whistling and Hector started feeling sleepy and fell at the stadium. Before fully falling sleep, Gumball apologizes for calling him boring. Hector responded saying that all the excitement that happened doesn't suit him. He decides to go back to being boring. Gumball says he wasn't boring, he was nuts. Hector finally went to sleep. Hector's mom and Darwin came along. She asked if Gumball was okay. He responded saying he was just fine. She said to him that she was going to take care of Hector from here.

At their house, Gumball and Darwin found out they had a friend request from Hector. They don't know if they should accept it. Darwin said if they did, he would get excited and trash the town. If they didn't, he would get sad and trash the town. Gumball knew exactly what to do. He uses a hammer and smashes the computer screen.

The Knights:
The episode begins with Gumball rushing his family to get the house cleaned up for Penny's arrival. As Richard is taking a shower, Gumball notices that his breath is bad, so he throws his father out and uses some soap to clean his mouth since they're out of toothpaste.
Meanwhile, Penny and her father are on their way to the Watterson's home. Mr. Fitzgerald asks his daughter if she is sure that she wants to do her Medieval project with Gumball since he apparently lives in a bad part of town, to which she still says yes. As they are driving by the Watterson's house, they see Anais falling off of a ladder, Richard completely nude and giving himself a shower with a hose outside, Nicole covered in garbage bags, Darwin with a tray of badly burnt cookies, and Gumball rushing outside to greet them with a mouth full of green soap suds. Mr. Fitzgerald quickly drives away to her daughter's contempt, while Gumball runs after them before collapsing.

After school the next day, Idaho is telling Tobias that he is taking their Medieval assignment too seriously, as he is dressed in a very flamboyant outfit and speaking with an exaggerated accent. Penny goes over to Gumball to apologize to him about what happened last night, and to explain how her father feels, which Gumball completely misunderstands. As an annoyed Mr. Fitzgerald drives up, Gumball tries to make up with him, but after knocking off one of his rear-view mirrors and accidentally deploying his airbag, he sternly tells Gumball to stay away from his car and his daughter.

Gumball is distraught about Mr. Fitzgerald's dislike for him, so he decides to show him that he is not that bad. He tries to give him a cake and a mix tape that Mr. Fitzgerald refuses, help him while he is jogging by wiping the sweat off with a washcloth, causing Mr. Fitzgerald to run away from him, hang out with him at work, much to the annoyance of him and and his friends, vandalize a billboard so they appear to be friends, only to have Mr. Fitzgerald distracted and accidentally crash into the Doughnut Sheriff's car, prompting the Doughnut Sheriff to write him a ticket, and sing him a song about how he wants to study with Penny, but he rejects Gumball's song and irritatedly tells Gumball to go away. Tobias then tells Mr. Fitzgerald that he wants to study with Penny, but Mr. Fitzgerald angrily closes the door, injuring Tobias' foot in the process, and after trying to ask Penny what is it with her and boys, he discovers she has gone. Afterwards, Gumball walks home and sees Penny sitting on his doorstep, who was able to come over to his house after asking her mother.

Gumball is overjoyed, but his excitement is short lived as Tobias soon enters the scene, who claims that Gumball took the hand of fair Penny. Tobias challenges Gumball to a duel, which neither of them win, as Tobias challenges him to a hand-to-hand combat duel instead. Gumball calls Tobias a nutcase, and says that he does not want to fight anymore, but this would mean Tobias won the duel, so he takes this back.

As they are dueling, Penny throws a book at Tobias, knocking him over, but Tobias puts a garbage can over Gumball's head and begins to beat him while he is trapped. Penny attempts to stop this, to which Tobias replies that he will stop in exchange for a kiss. Gumball appears to gain extra strength from this, and throws his "sword" at him, which accidentally hits Penny instead.

Tobias and Gumball begin fighting again, but Gumball is losing, so he asks Penny for help. While she is attempting to control Tobias, he throws her off of him, which leaves her in the middle of the street. Just then, Mr. Fitzgerald's car turns the corner, which Gumball sees. He forces Tobias off of him, and quickly dives in front of Mr. Fitzgerald's car to save Penny's life, while Mr. Fitzgerald swerves to avoid hitting her at the same time.

While he swerved, Mr. Fitzgerald accidentally crashes into the Wattersons' house, and gets out of his car in a daze. Tobias, shocked by what just happened, quickly says that Gumball wins and runs off. Mr. Fitzgerald thanks Gumball for saving his daughter, but only this time Richard comes out of the house in his underwear, angrily telling Nicole that "this clown" (Mr. Fitzgerald) nearly killed the kids with his driving. Mr. Fitzgerald nervously tries to reason with them, but Nicole and Richard, followed by the rest of the family, begin to yell and complain at Mr. Fitzgerald for wrecking his car into their house, while Gumball and Penny shrug, obviously knowing that Mr. Fitzgerald is going to suffer more bad luck.

The Fridge:
The episode begins when Nicole brings everyone to the kitchen to show the reach for the stars chart on the fridge. Nicole asks what everyone has achieved. Anais recieved a science award for discovering a new form of bacteria in the fridge. Anais gets placed in the sunny clouds. Nicole says she's placed in the star for beating everyone in the company paintball day. Darwin learned how to do mating call of the mocking bird. Darwin gets placed in the cloud. Richard invented the sausage pen. Richard also gets placed in the cloud. Gumball says he achieved nothing. He's says that he's good at being happy. Nicole say's thats not good enough and she places Gumball on the rainy cloud.
Nicole wakes Gumball up 4 in the morning and she brings Gumball to the supermarket. Nicole tells Gumball to grab the discounted chicken. Gumball gets into a fight with an old lady. Nicole tells Gumball to win the chicken and he wins the chicken. The old lady finds a half price salmon and Gumball also wins the salmon for Nicole.

While Nicole is driving, she asks how does feel to win and Gumball says it feels like being hit by an old lady with a wet fish. Nicole tells Gumball he doesn't understand a few things about being a winner. Nicole drives Gumball to a desert and he has to walk home. He manages to walk home, but not without injuries. When Gumball gets home, Richard explains what happens to the house. Nicole places Gumball in the sun.

On Saturday Nicole takes the family to the Company Paintball Day. Nicole says that the first one to capture the flag wins. Gumball says if he wins, Nicole has to tear down the chart. The family separates, and Richard gets shot first by Nicole. Nicole tries to shoot Gumball but she misses and Gumball rolls down the hill. Gumball finds Darwin, and Darwin almost shoots Gumball. Anais shoots at Gumball and Darwin and throws paint bombs. Gumball and Darwin get behind a tree and Darwin is caught in one Anais's traps. Darwin blows both himself and Anais up and they both go for sandwiches.

Gumball goes up the hill and finds the flag. He accidently shoots Richard while he's on the field getting a sandwich. Gumball heads to the flag and Nicole aims at Gumball. Her whistle caused a bird to knock her paintball gun out of her hands, and the paintballs fall out of the paintball gun. Gumball says that he rather be a disappointment than being a winner. Nicole said he wanted him to reach his potential and she says that she's sorry for upsetting him. She tells him to take the flag and Nicole attempts to shoot Gumball but there was no ammo in the paintball gun. Gumball shoots Nicole and both of them laugh. Gumball won and Nicole says the chart is being taken down.

The Flower:
It's lunchtime, and as usual, Gumball goes to the cheerleader practice to gawk at Penny while he eats his lunch. In his mind, it's a sunny day, and Penny blows him a kiss as she does aerial flips, while he cheers like a maniac. In reality, however, it's pouring rain, and Gumball just cheered Penny on for painfully failing, earning him scorn from Leslie and the other cheerleaders. Leslie walks Penny off and gives her a warm hug, causing the Jealousy in Gumball to intervene. Jealousy assumes direct control of Gumball's body and angrily races off towards Leslie, blowing through many obstacles along the way. Unfortunately, he uses too much of his energy on the obstacles, causing him to harmlessly pass out once he reaches him. Leslie and Penny walk off without noticing him.
In the cafeteria, Gumball spies on Leslie and Penny. Jealousy once again overtakes Gumball, causing him to scornfully mock Leslie, and eventually charge in to beat him up, but Leslie easily brushes him aside and once again walks away with Penny. Gumball begins to get mad at Jealousy. He starts fighting back against his control, but Jealousy is too powerful. Gumball ends up getting knocked out by his own limbs.

With Gumball knocked out, Jealousy gained uncontested control over the body. He attempts to frame Leslie for the theft of a trophy, but he doesn't do a very good job. Apparently, he smashed open the trophy case, took a trophy, pried open Leslie's locker with a crowbar, and placed the stolen trophy inside, but many things went wrong with this operation. First of all, he left a trail of glass behind him; second, Leslie's locker was already pried open when he dragged everyone there; and third, inside his own locker was herbicides, vandalized pictures of Leslie, and a crowbar. Upon being caught, Jealousy gives a dazed Gumball his body back, leaving him to take the fall. Everyone involved gets called into Principal Brown's office.

At the office, Gumball attempts to apologize to Leslie, but is interrupted by Jealousy, who spews a long string of insults at Leslie. Gumball believing he's going to prison, sadly resigns to his fate, but Principal Brown notifies him that he won't be incarcerated. Upon hearing this, an ecstatic Jealousy repossesses Gumball and attempts to flee to Mexico, but his plan is foiled by his inability to open the door. He repeatedly runs into it until knocking himself out. Gumball, lying knocked out on the ground, agrees to attempt to patch things up with Leslie.

He decides to take Leslie out on a walk in the park. The trip starts out friendly, but turned out to be a trap set by Jealousy. Gumball benignly offers Leslie a seat on a shady bench, which Leslie gingerly accepts. This is where the trap starts - Leslie sat on superglue, and Gumball pulls a string, unleashing snails and other herbivorous insects upon him. Gumball, after a few mildly clever remarks, leaves Leslie to die.

The next day at school, Penny and Darwin remark on how nice it is that Gumball and Leslie are getting along. The pleasantness is interrupted, however, when a naked and partially eaten Leslie walks in and calls Gumball insane. Penny immediately rushes to his side, causing Gumball to become completely overtaken by Jealousy. Gumball, with no traces of his former self visible, pounces on Leslie and brutally rips his petals off one by one. Darwin rushes over and, with Penny's help, restrains a feral Gumball from hurting Leslie further. By then, everyone notices that Gumball is not himself. Carrie comes up with a plan, and leads them all to her house.

Carrie rightfully believes that Gumball is possessed by Jealousy, and calls everyone to her room to perform an exorcism. They put Gumball in the center of a circle of candles and occult markings while chanting "Jealousy be gone..." repeatedly. It works, and the Jealousy is expelled from Gumball's body, taking the form of a lumpy green ball of ectoplasm. Penny steps into the circle to try to help Gumball, but doing so causes the protection ward to break, releasing Jealousy from his prison. He immediately wreaks havoc on the room, trashing anything and everything that he is jealous about. Eventually, he decides that if he can't have Gumball, then nobody can, and prepares to blow himself up. The only way he can be eliminated is if Gumball stops being jealous of Leslie. Gumball says that's impossible as long as Penny dates Leslie, to which Penny responds that they're not dating; they're cousins. Now that Gumball is no longer jealous of Leslie, Jealousy disappears. The five of them lie exhausted amidst a pile of Carrie's stuff. Then Carrie makes the mistake of giving Gumball a friendly punch in the arm, causing Jealousy to possess Penny. The episode ends with everyone saying "Wow."

The Banana:
The episode starts off with Mr. Small teaching a class, in which he is giving a boring lecture on the composition of happiness. As the bell rings, the students are dismissed and Banana Joe gives Darwin back his pen that he had borrowed. Gumball notices something odd about the pen he had borrowed, and accuses Joe of chewing his pen, which he denies, leaving Gumball upset.
Later at lunch, Gumball goes up to Joe, and tells him that anything can be solved with a simple apology. Instead of saying he is sorry for chewing the pen, he instead says that he forgives Gumball for chewing it. Gumball is agitated, and asks if he can borrow his tube of glue.

Back in the classroom, Gumball is fiercely piercing the tube of glue, to Darwin's confusion. He tells his brother that he is exacting justice, but Darwin still does not quite understand. In an attempt to help him comprehend what he is doing, Gumball smacks Darwin's face with a ruler twice and asks him what he thinks is an appropriate thing to do in response, so Darwin offers love instead of vengeance, which Gumball admits is nicer, but is not justice.

When Joe comes back, he finds a note on his desk from Gumball and Darwin that thanks him for the glue. He is moved by this, and decides to make them a card in celebration of their friendship. As he is putting the finishing touches on his card, he finds that his hand is stuck to his tube of glue. Joe is undeterred by this, and continues to keep his spirits high, that is, until he accidentally pulls one of his eyes off.

In the nurse's office, the nurse and Mr. Small are there as they unwrap Joe's bandages. At first, he is horrified to find that he has no face, but the nurse puts another one on and he's back to normal. Mr. Small informs Joe that he needs to be more careful because his tube of glue was covered in holes, but he claims that the tube was not when he lent it to Gumball.

Meanwhile, Gumball and Darwin come across the scene, where they discover that Joe had torn Darwin's homework. Infuriated, he breaks into Joe's locker and begins to bite on his books and destroy his other possessions. Upon discovering a fancy-looking pen, he begins to fiercely chew on it. As he asks Gumball what else they could do to it, Mr. Small comes over the intercom and requests that they both come to his office.

In Mr. Small's office, he explains to the kids that conflict can be resolved by reminding yourself that an enemy is like you but seen from another perspective, that all people have something in common, and that time is needed to reach an understanding. Darwin says nothing, and instead flips over the hourglass, throws the water on Mr. Small, and breaks the mirror and threatens Joe with it. Mr. Small is scared, and urgently requests that Joe gives Darwin the new pen. As he is giving it to him, he regales a story about his family's most prized possession - the pen that his great-grandfather Obadiah Banana used to sign the registry when he first came to his country.

When Joe finishes his story, he tells the two that he would lose his mind if that pen was chewed, which horrifies them because Darwin actually did. Mr. Small is touched by the boys' peaceful settlement and thanks them, then lets Joe go as he fills out a hall pass for Gumball and Darwin. While he is writing Gumball's name, he makes a mistake and decides to print another. The boys begin to grow impatient with him, so he asks them if they want to try his new herbal tea to soothe their nerves, but before he can finish his sentence he suddenly blanks out and stops responding to the boys, so they both leave without a pass.

Meanwhile, Banana Joe is merrily walking to his locker while whistling a cheerful tune, in contrast to how Gumball and Darwin are practically sprinting to get there before he does. While the boys are running, they inadvertently set off several accidents in the school's hall, but despite this, Joe still makes it to his locker before they do and discovers the chewed pen.

Gumball and Darwin try to walk away without diverting his attention to themselves, but it does not work and Joe yells at them angrily while demanding that they both turn around face him. When they do, he screams in a fit of rage and races towards them. Instead of hitting either one of them, he runs straight into a water fountain and passes out with a large bruise covering his face.

The boys are both incredibly guilty about ruining his family's most prized possession and causing him additional distress for the rest of the day. In an effort to not appear to have been bullying him, they both decide to beat themselves up and lay on the floor alongside Joe. When he wakes up, Gumball tells him that he beat them both up and they both apologize about ruining the pen, and Banana Joe forgives them both. When they are both getting up, Gumball feels something weird and checks his pockets for something, and he finds Darwin's pen. He realizes that Joe had his pen, not Darwin's, and that he chewed the pen himself, not Joe. Instead of pummelling him, Joe and Darwin pat him to show love instead of hatred.

The Phone:
The episode begins with Gumball and Darwin at home. Gumball is destroying several household items with a golf club as he assumes he'll never need them again thanks to his new phone. Darwin doesn't see the point of owning a cellphone, as Gumball wonders how he ever lived without it. The phone is an old fashioned brick, but Gumball doesn't seem to care.
At the bus stop Darwin gives Ocho the phone number, but Gumball believes Ocho to be nuts and warns Darwin about giving his phone number out to random people. At school Gumball waits for his phone to ring, after recieving no calls he gives up and hands the phone over to Darwin who gets a call from Ocho instantly.

After school Gumball and Darwin reach the final boss of a Space Invader style video game and attempt a combo breaker to beat the game. The phone begins to ring and Darwin loses his concentration, he answers the phone causing an angry Gumball to lose the game.

The following morning Darwin gets his phone confiscated by Mr. Small in the library and begs Gumball to sneak into his office to get it. Gumball reluctantly sneaks into Mr. Small's office to retrieve the phone, but the curtains set on fire due to a knocked candle. Gumball extinguishes the flames with no help as Darwin won't take his eyes off the phone.

At home Gumball confronts Darwin about his addiction and unknowingly offends Ocho on the other line. As he trys to make amends he makes the problem worse by accidentally offending his mom in a text message. The two try to run away but Ocho has already arrived outside the house. Ocho fights the two Space Invaders style by dropping bombs on them. Ocho blows Darwin to pieces only for him to come back as he had two more lives left.Gumball and Darwin try to reflect with trash can lids Ocho's bombs back at him but when finally hit him Darwin reacts and left his trash can shield on his left side leading one of Ocho's bombs to vaporize Gumball leving him with two lives left. When Gumball respawns again he argues with Darwin why he made him lose a life but they were distracted, so Ocho's bombs hit both of them so they are both left with one life.Soon after they got left with one life they attempt to hide in a lawn so they dicide to call the cops but Gumball drops the phone by accident but Ocho destroys the phone causing Darwin to fight back.Gumball and Darwin try to attempt a combo breaker on Ocho as they did in the game. It misses but Ocho's Mother appears to calm Ocho down and take him home. Gumball and Darwin spend the rest of the day repairing the damages caused to the house by Ocho, but it's clear Darwin still isn't over his addiction.

The Job:
The episode starts in the front lawn with a passed out Nicole, being slapped awake by Anais. She passed out at the news of Richard getting a job as a pizza delivery guy. Nicole uneasily walks back to the house, assisted by Anais, feeling that something is wrong. Before leaving, she tells the boys to watch over Richard. They nod their heads, and satisfied, she leaves. The boys express their surprise at Richard getting a job, and Richard cheerfully explains that he called a number to order a pizza, but it turned out to be a job application, and he got accepted. Then he lets them know the best part of the job: free pizza. His method of getting "free" pizza is by eating parts of the pizzas he's supposed to deliver. After drooling a bit, he decides to get to work, driving off like a madman and dropping all but one of the pizzas he's supposed to deliver. Gumball and Darwin notice this, and decide to deliver the pizzas he dropped.
Back in the house, Nicole can't seem to shake the feeling that Richard getting a job is a bad thing. Anais comforts her, saying that the additional income will help a lot. She uses a family picture to point out the fact that they've been wearing the same clothes for a year, that Nicole, Richard, and Gumball don't have shoes, and Darwin has been walking around pantsless. Nicole sighs in defeat, but notices something wrong with the picture: a huge crack where her husband is pointing on the stone model of the earth, and his red eyes. Anais reassures her that nothing will go wrong, but then they hear ominous music.

In the meantime, Gumball and Darwin have arrived at the first house - the Pepperonis at 438 Elm Street. They turn out to be two married pizzas, and the pizza they ordered is their baby. They gush over the new member of their family while the male pizza gives Gumball $20. Unfortunately, as Gumball reaches for the money, the pizza falls to the ground. Gruesomely, it slithers down the steps, leaving behind a blood-red trail of pizza sauce. The Pepperoni's are flabbergasted, and a panicked Gumball drops the empty pizza box and hands them a different one. Then they slowly walk down the stairs, taking off in a run once they got down but not before smashing the dead pizza baby's face into the pavement.

Richard, meanwhile, is singing a rap about his new job. He trips, and as he stumbles around on his vehicle, he leaves behind a trail of distorted reality.

The scene cuts back to Gumball and Darwin, who have fleed all the way to their next delivery stop, Mr. Small's house. Unfortunately, the second pizza they gave to the Pepperoni's was the one meant for Mr. Small. Gumball decides to improvise, cramming grass and dirt into a pizza shape and putting it into the box. Darwin notes that it doesn't look convincing, prompting Gumball to take a piece of gum off the pavement and appetizingly spread it on the pizza. As Gumball finishes, a starved Mr. Small pops out, and after explaining why he was starved, he tears into the pizza like a maniac. After a few monstrous bites, he stops, twitches, and faints. Darwin believes him to have stopped breathing, but it was only because of the bubblegum he had to blow out. Darwin, relieved, asks him for payment.

Back at the house, Nicole is filling a mug with tap water. As Richard passes by them, though, the water defies gravity by falling up to the ceiling. Nicole panics and turns the water off as Anais walks in. Nicole tries to show Anais the gravity-defying water, but as Richard is long gone, the water returns to normal. Anais decides to tease her mother, talking about how running water didn't exist when her mother was a kid. Nicole shrugs it off and solidifies her belief that Richard having a job is a bad thing, prompting Anais to take her coffee mug away. This small action causes Nicole to snap, exclaiming that she's not hysterical.

The final pizza that Gumball and Darwin need to deliver is to the Bananas. Banana Bob answers the door and begins chanting pizza repeatedly. He is soon joined by his wife and son, as Gumball and Darwin uncomfortably watch. Then Richard zooms by, distorting reality once again by putting the family in a continuous loop. Gumball and Darwin, not realizing this, believes the Bananas are just crazy. Gumball decides to tease them, asking a bunch of questions where pizza is the answer. Finally, tired of watching bananas dance around, they leave the pizza in the house and close the door. Gumball takes one last peek at them through the mail slot and sees them still chanting, but in slow motion. He dismisses it as the family's regular creepiness.

Meanwhile, Anais is trying to calm Nicole down because she thinks that Richard having a job upsets the balance of the universe and that it also upsets the balance of her power, because she is a little bit of a control freak. Nicole says that she does not know anymore. Gumball and Darwin enter the house and tell her that they delivered the pizzas to their houses and nothing went wrong. Nicole then turns on the TV and sees a breaking news report that it has been night all day at Food 'n' Stuff, and it was supposed to be noon, it has been snowing somewhere else in Elmore, and the old lizard woman says that it is supposed to be June, and that the red elder is floating, and he is supposed to be on the ground. Nicole tells them that this is because of their father and that me must be fired.

The family are driving with Larry Needlemeyer so he can fire him, although he says that tearing apart the fabric of the universe is not a dismissable offense. Richard then speeds towards his destination and further distorts reality by pushing an accelarator and turning day into night and the sun into a moon and making cars float and Mr. Robinson drop. His family realizes that they are getting close to him. They do so, but Anais warns them that they have to be careful, because the closer they are to him, the more warped the universe becomes. Richard pushes the accelarator many times and converts the family into many versions of themselves and arrive at his destination. And soon see a massive ray of light suck everything.

As Richard is slowly getting to the house, the family exits the car just in time, because a cloud turned heavy and crushed the car. He rings the doorbell and the ray of light is even brighter, and as the family tries to warn him, Nicole is turned into a puddle and the others into many more variations of themselves. The customer was about to take the pizza when he presented it and Larry finds out that Richard has been eating from the pizzas from the middle and is fired. All the universal damage is undone and everything is returned to normal in Elmore.

Richard is without the helmet and the family still likes him even without a job, and then he says he will get a new one and lightning strikes his finger.

Halloween(The Halloween):
It's Halloween, and the kids decide to go trick-or-treating. Gumball voices his disapproval of Anais' princess costume, arguing that Halloween is meant to be scary. Anais counters by saying cute costumes earn more candy. Darwin, meanwhile, is white and shaken because of how scared he is of Halloween. The group then moves out, with a worried Nicole frantically warning them to be careful, and to be back by 7 p.m. Gumball, being the oldest, gets put in charge of the group.
The trio ends up wandering into a cemetary, which Gumball says is a shortcut to a place filled with candy. He then points to a creepy house smack in the middle of the graveyard, to which he labels their "destination". A flabbergasted Darwin stands there with his mouth hung open in fear, while Anais questions how much candy they'll get out of that house. Gumball then reveals that he never planned to go trick-or-treating at all; he actually wanted to go to an undead party. Carrie warps in to tell them how every Halloween night, the ghosts and other undead gather at this graveyard house for a huge party. Darwin, still shaken, suggests simply partying at the entrance. He dances for a few seconds, then attempts to flee the scene, but Gumball urges him to stay. Darwin tries to refuse, but Gumball reminds him who's in charge, causing Darwin to curse. Anais, on the other hand, is enthusiastic about going to the party. Unfortunately, Carrie disapproves of her babyish outfit. Gumball wholeheartedly agrees, and hangs Anais on a tree.

Carrie, Gumball, and Darwin continue on to the party, only to find the house empty. Carrie warns them not to tell anyone they're alive, and something else that is inaudible. She repeats herself twice; on the second time, Darwin yells at her to just spit it out. Carrie tells them to drink a single drop of a mysterious potion, but only one drop. Darwin, exasperated, reasons that anything that should only be eaten in minute quantities are bad for you. Gumball, capitalizing on an opportunity, flicks a drop of the potion into Darwin's gaping mouth. Darwin instantly goes wide-eyed and stares blankly into the room, causing Gumball to rethink drinking the potion. Darwin, however, yanks Gumball's mouth open and slips a drop of potion into it, causing Gumball to see the explosion of ghosts that Darwin saw.

In the meantime, Anais, who is still stuck in the tree, is determined to get into the party. She tries to shake herself off the tree, and succeeds. Unfortunately, directly under her was a well. A deep well, that she falls to the bottom of. She yells "DANG NABITT!" in exasperation.

Back at the party, Carrie, Gumball, and Darwin mingle with the other ghosts. Carrie floats near a bowl filled with a strange substance, which Gumball is interested in. Carrie informs him that it is what ghosts are made of: ectoplasm. Gumball immediately wants to try some, but Carrie says he can't. Gumball immaturely yells that he wants some, and a passing ghost obliges him. Unfortunately, Gumball isn't enough of a ghost to touch ectoplasm yet, and so it passes right through his hand. All the other ghosts notice, and turn their attention to the two living creatures. Gumball, thinking quick, decides to drink Carrie's potion until he fully turns into a ghost, but Darwin advises against it. After a little peer pressure, though, Darwin yanks the bottle from Gumball's hands and takes a big swig himself. The two of them take turns gulping the potion down until Carrie stops them. Gumball and Darwin crack up, but their laughter is cut short when their spirits leave their bodies and they turn into ghosts. Darwin gives Carrie a spontaneous kiss, and the party rages on. Gumball and Darwin are extremely excited to have all the powers of being a ghost (levitation, invisibility, etc.) and decide to mess around in town with their abilities.

First, at the gas station, they draw a gruff face on Larry similar to a guy on a wanted poster behind him. The Donut Cop, mistaking him for the criminal, pulls his taser out and arrests him. Next, they animate a moose head in the Robinson house, giving Gaylord and Margaret a spook. Finally, they possess Tina and plan on going on a T-Rex rampage through town. Unfortunately, the controls are too hard and Tina lands face-first on the pavement. But before leaving her body, Gumball farts inside it.

Back at the cemetary, Anais has finally climbed her way out of the well, and rushes to the house party. Meanwhile, two ghosts find the bodies that Gumball and Darwin left behind, and use them as puppets. Anais sees this and looks confused, then notices a potion bottle nearby and drinks some. She turns into a ghost as well.

Carrie tracks down Gumball and Darwin and warns them that if they don't get back to their bodies by midnight, they will remain ghosts forever. The three race back to the haunted house, as the stroke up midnight sounds. The ghosts all return to their graves, and an enormous vortex opens up in the floor of the house, sucking everything nearby back to the afterlife.

The ghosts attempt to halt Gumball and Darwin, but Carrie holds them off (able to keep herself from being sucked into the underworld due to being a part of the mortal world) and Gumball and Darwin manage to get into the house, finding Anais there (now a ghost) and they all make a desperate leap for their bodies before the vortex closes behind them, taking the house with it.

A horrified Carrie finds the house gone, and begins to mourn for her friends, just before all three are spat back out. Having apparently been rejected because they were mortals. Nicole arrives, enraged that it was past midnight and they weren't home yet. As the three try to explain themselves, it is revealed they have switched bodies. They assure Nicole that Carrie can get them back to normal, only for Carrie to vanish after an awkward silence. The guys are ended with a fear face and Nicole still really don't know what happen to them.
