So we all know that "In My Life" is John's first autobiographical song, and he's singing about people and places he used to know and all that. Or if you didn't know, well, that's what I've heard about it anyway, and it rings true to me. But if we interpret the song like that, there's still one part that's a little confusing.
"In my life, I love you more".
Who is John talking about? Who did his life culminate in loving, so that in 1965, he can say he loves this "you" more than anything or anyone?
