So, I didn't win anything. I wasn't even nominated for anything. At first I was a little sad, I mean it was an award show!
But then I started thinking how I loved the whole process: browsing Fanpop frenetically (more than usual) in search of that Spot or User that makes everything in Fanpop worth it. I loved going to what felt like millions of spots looking for the best banner, the best fan art and all those things that make each spot as unique and amazing as the next one.

I also loved searching users, seeing all the wonderful content they submitted and how original and hard working they are. Answering to picks, posting forum reply, seeing the wonderful interaction between everyone. Most of the times I was touched by how all Fanpoppers care about important issues like eating disorders, Internet trolls, even image crediting (thank you to DrDevience for inspiring me to try and make my content better).

I found it inspiring how this event not only awarded the best content and users, but also brought everyone together to do so. From answering picks about what Karaoke song we would sing and what outfit to wear, this event entertained everyone and gave everyone a chance to honor those each one thinks made the best contribute to Fanpop. I feel lucky to be able to enjoy all those things and be a part of this community ( I was going to say family but didn't know if it was appropriated).

Summing up all this gibberish, I just want to say thank you to bliss, dazl and hooch for organizing this and everyone else who nominated and voted and contributed in some way to make this great event that I loved so!
