Haruhi walked into the living room, where Itsuki and Saki were watching TV. "Haruhi-chan! You wanna watch TV?" Saki asked. "I'd...love to." Haruhi answered as they sat down to watch Pokemon. And after a few hours of television, Haruhi had fallen asleep.
I'm not his girlfriend...but what if I wanted to-
ZIPPITY-DOO!!!!
ZIPITTY-DOO!!
ZIPITY-DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
HARUHI-CHAN, WAKE UP!
Suzumiya-san...Suzumiya-san!
Haruhi woke with a start. "What happened?" "THE BABY'S COMING!!" Aiko screamed. "You must help my mommy, Haruhi-chan!" Saki begged. "M-me?" The Brigade leader stammered.
"You are a girl."
"Why can't you go to a hospital?"
"I'm not spending 500 yen just to give birth to a child!" Aiko refused. She dragged Haruhi to the den. "Mo-Momoko-chan?" Haruhi looked down at her. "I'm gonna help you, if you don't mind.." "Oh...thank you, Haruhi-chan...." Momoko panted.
~I decided I didn't want to write about childbirth, so I skipped it.~
"You...you did it, Momoko-chan." Haruhi announced. "It's a girl! But it has a...pee-pee..." Yutaka said. "I'll take care of this!" He held up a knife. Snatching the baby from him, Keiichi corrected him. "It's a boy." "Oh, a boy..." Momoko cradled the baby in her arms. "You hear that, Saki? You have a baby brother." Saki cried with joy. Haruhi and Itsuki smiled proudly. "You were a great help, Suzumiya-san. Thank you so much." Itsuki said, smiling at Haruhi, who blushed a bit. "No problem. I'm so happy for Momoko-chan."
"WE SHALL CALL HIM....MAMORU!!!" Aiko said, holding up the baby. "Mamoru, I'm Aiko. I'm your mommy. That's Momoko. She's your other mommy. And this is Saki. She's your sister." She put the baby in Itsuki's arms. "That's your uncle Itsuki. And this is his friend, Haruhi-chan. Without her help, you would never have gotten into the world." "He's...beautiful, Aiko-chan." Haruhi stared at the baby.
"That's it!!" Aiko stood on the chair. "To celebrate the birth of out Mamoru, our family, plus Haruhi-chan, will go on a cross-country road trip in his honor!" The family clapped.
That night, Haruhi wrote in the diary she was supposed to use for her assignment.
Day 1
I have witnessed the birth of something beautiful.
P.S: I helped.
