“So, yes??” Ponyboy asks, standing in your front yard, with all the balloons.
“I thought you said we weren’t going.” You whisper.
“But I want to spend prom with the girl I love, and I want to see you in a pretty dress.”
“I don’t think I can afford a dress,” you mumble.
He grins. “Which is why we are going dress shopping.”
“What?” It’s your turn to grin now.
“You heard me. Johnny and Two-Bit are in the car to help out.” He says.
“Are you serious?” You ask, amazed.
“Yeah, c’mon into the car you go.” He picks up bridal style, walking you down the walkway and setting you in the backseat of the car.
You drive in the car for about 15 minutes, chatting with the other greasers, as Ponyboy looks back in the rearview mirror smiling at you.
He pulls up next to a dress shop. “Here we are,” he smiles. “You ready?”
“Yeah.” You smile. You couldn’t believe that he was doing this for you.
You walk in, amazed at all the dresses.
You see a blue one you like, and reach for the price tag. Holy shit, Way more expensive than you thought.
You turn to your boyfriend.
“What’s the matter babe?” He asks.
“It’s too much.” You shake your head.
“Hey just think of it as a birthday present.” He smiles.
“But still,” you whine. But he’s looking pass you, over your shoulder, grinning wildly.
“What,” you ask confused.
” That’s your dress,” He smiles.
You look over your shoulder to see a pink dress hanging on the rack.
“It’s so pretty,” You whisper.
“It’s going to look even prettier on you,” he smiles. “Go try it on.”
You walk into the dressing room, dress in hand. You slip it on over you, liking the feel of the dress on your body.
You open the door of the dressing room to see Pony, who’s noIt drops when he sees you.
“Zip me up?” You ask, holding your hair out of the way and turning around.
He pulls the zipper up. “You look beautiful.” He mutters into your ear.
“Really?”
“I wouldn’t lie to you. Go look for yourself.” He smiles.
You walk over to the mirror, stunned at how you look. “Wow,” you mutter.
Two-Bit wolf whistles, causing you to blush.
“You look real pretty, Y/N,” Johnny mumbles.
“Thanks guys.” You whisper, still admiring yourself.
“Let’s go buy it.” Ponyboy says. “You’ll look even prettier at prom with it.”

You were at Buck's party by yourself, then someone covered your eyes and whispered meet me outside in five minutes. You couldn't tell who it was, but your curiosity got the best of you. As you stepped outside, you saw Dallas Winston, your long time crush. "Hey Dal," "Marisa, I've gotta tell you something," Dally bit his bottom lip and looked down at yours as you got closer to him. "Well, I've always liked you and I know I flirt all the time but you're different, you're special." Now Dally was holding your hands and pulling you closer to him. "If I can have you, I won't need anyone else in my life, so please Marisa, will you be my girl?" Your face probably looked shocked because right there Dally decided to pull you in for a long passionate kiss. "Yes! Dally, I will!" He smiled then you two got in his car and drove into the darkness of the night with intertwined fingers.
You walked into the Curtis house and you saw Ponyboy sitting there reading his book. "Hey Pony, are you ready to read 'Gone with the wind?' " "Yeah hang on, hey Soda, can you come here for a minute." You and Ponyboy have been friends for a couple days now and he promised he would show you his favorite book, and you never knew he had a brother. "Hey Pony--" Soda walked in with no shirt on, only a towel. His jaw dropped and he blushed. "Hi, I'm Sodapop," "I'm Alex," you couldn't stop looking into his beautiful eyes. "Well Alex, how about I take you to the dingo for a coke?" You nod but then remember that you were really there to get that book. "Oh, pony, I'm sorry, can I please go?" "I ain't your parent, sure you can go and here take the book, you can read it to Soda." Soda took your hand and began leading you out the door. "Hey sodapop!" Pony yelled, "you know you only got a towel on?" Soda blushed and gave you a quick kiss then ran to go get cloths.
You and Two-bit are sitting on the couch watching Mickey Mouse and playing around. You throw popcorn at him occasionally and he just laughs. You have been dating for about 4 months now. You throw a piece of pop corn and it hits him right in the face, and he turns around slowly, a slight smirk growing on his face as you begin to giggle. He lunges for you as he begins to tickle you, but this time you fight back and playfully wrestle him. You two roll around wrestling on the floor for about 2 minutes, and you stop when he ends up on top of you. You look into each others eyes for what feels like forever, and finally he slowly moves his face closer to yours and kisses you. "I love you (Y/N)" he whispers, and leans in for another kiss.
Later that night, you hear someone in the house. Thankfully Dally heard it too and he was wide awake. He quickley gets out of bed as you follow. You creep down the hallway and peek around the corner.
"Go back to the room," He says as you do what he instructed
You sit on the bed, praying that everythings okay.
Soon, you hear shots from a gun.
Then silence
With the money that I would have gone to college with, and with what Ponyboy had saved, we had bought Soda his horse.
Soda came in, in his plaid shirt and jeans. His jaw dropped. Then he smile brighter than the sun.
He walked over to horse.
“Hey buddy,” he says, smiling, petting his nose.
“It took forever to get him to listen,” Ponyboy said.
“Yeah, I got myself and ornery pony.” Soda grins.
“You happy?” You ask Soda.
He just looks at you, smiles and nods his head.
You had gotten tired of the New Years Party you were at, so you decided to have your own; complete with balloons, champagne, dancing, and the life of the party.
“This is fun,” you laugh as you look up to him.
“Yeah,” he laughs, as he dips you.
“Careful of the champagne, babe.”
“Sorry… Just trying to make things classy.” He laughs.
“You kidding me? This is some high class shit!” You laugh.
He glances at the clock.
“It’s 11:59,” he grins.
“Time for our New Year’s kiss,” you grin as you lean in.
“Not yet!” He yells, moving your face away. “It isn’t midnight yet!”
You laugh, then glance at the clock.
“Well, we missed it.” You pout. “It’s 12:01.”
“Looks like we have to wait a whole nother year.”
He pauses for a second, thinking.
“You.” He finally answers, smiling.
“That’s not one thing.” You roll your eyes and giggle.
“Yes it is. You are you. Without certain things, you wouldn’t be you. If you’re pretty eyes weren’t (eye color), you wouldn’t be you. If you didn’t snort when you laugh, you wouldn’t be you. If you didn’t randomly burst into song, you be you.
If you weren’t nice and sweet and funny, it wouldn’t be (Y/N). The (Y/N) I know, love and adore.” He smiles as he kisses you on the cheek.
“Really?” You ask.
“Really.”
“Really really?”
“Really really.”
“Johnny how do you think this looks?” You ask, holding up a black dress to you.
“How am I supposed to know?” He groans as he leans on one of the shelves of the department store.
“Well, would I look good in it?” You ask, twirling the dress around.
“You’d look good in any clothes, honey.” He smiles at you.
“Any clothes?” You ask, scrunching your nose.
“But you also look good in no clothes, if that’s what you want to know,” he grins at you like a little kid. “So could you hurry up so I could see my favorite outfit on you?”
