Chapter 3- Seeing is Believing

After school on Wednesday I had Volleyball practice at the High school. I drank all of my water after I ran six laps around the gym. Later, we had to run what the coach calls “push fives” which is much worse! Especially since we had to do it more than once. I knew I would faint if I didn’t drink anything right then.
While the girls were practicing their serves, I walked right out the gym into the halls looking for a good water fountain. I found one that wasn’t gum-infested by the main office. I took a long drink. The water was cool and refreshing. I heard some voices not too far from where I was. They sounded oddly familiar. I stopped drinking and looked up. I wiped my mouth on my sleeve as I walked at a slow pace toward the voices.
“Daphne,” I heard. I could tell the voice belonged to a girl around my age. “You can’t jump that high.”
“So?” The girl she was talking to protested. Her voice had a certain squeak to it that told me she was a bit younger than the other girl.
“So let me do it.”
I heard a male voice argue, “No, Grimm. Let me. You know you can’t jump that high.”
Grimm? I thought.
I hid behind a wall. I let only the left side of my face cross the side of wall. I saw Anna, Peter, and a little girl with dark brown hair put into pigtails. Suddenly I saw two beautiful pink streaked wings come out of Peter’s back. My eyes grew wide.
“Are you kidding me?! Don’t do that! Someone can see you! If you want to go through that window don’t use your wings!” Anna yelled.
Peter put in his wings. “Well how are we going to get in it then?”
“Some other way,” Anna said. “Puck, hold me up.”
Puck?! No way!
I watched Peter pick up Anna and hold her up. Anna crawled through whatever they were talking about.
“Sabrina! What’s in there?” the little girl called out.
“It’s just a classroom, Daphne,” Anna answered.
I felt like crying. I’ve been their friend for about three days now. Now I know that they are not really who they claim to be and that what I thought before was actually the truth: they were the people from The Sisters Grimm. My dream had finally come true.
I put my hand over my mouth and I took a nervous step back. On accident I stumbled and fell on the floor. The little girl, Daphne, noticed me.
“There’s someone there!” She squealed.
I got back on my feet and ran to the gym fast. Behind me I heard footsteps following me. I went into the gym and I turned around, my breathing in heavy gasps. I looked into the hall. That’s when I felt someone grab me from behind. I tried to scream, but the person’s hand covered my mouth and muffled my yelps. The person dragged me away from the gym. I was still yelping in the person’s hand.
“Shush! It’s me,” I heard a guy’s voice. He turned around and let go of me. I spun out of his grip and took one good look at him.
“P-Peter?” I stuttered. Then I frowned. “Or should I say Puck?”
I looked into his green eyes.
He said with a small grin, “Call me—”
“Why is Natasha here?” I heard a girl’s voice interrupt Puck’s speech. I turned around and saw Sabrina.
“She knows,” Puck said.
“She knows what?” Sabrina asked.
“She knows who we really are!” Daphne blurted out
“You do?” Sabrina asked me.
I nodded. “I kind of knew already.”
“I’m sorry we didn’t tell you earlier,” Sabrina told me as she looked at the floor with a guilty expression on her face. “We had to be sure you were the one we were looking for.”
“The one you’ve been looking for? Who have you been looking for?” I asked.
“Someone who can help us. Someone who almost knows us better than we know ourselves,” Sabrina answered. “Now, come on. We have a lot to show you. Daphne, can I have the portal remote?”
Daphne reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out a remote. She handed it to Sabrina. Sabrina pushed a button and a portal showed up in front of us. I stared at the gleaming light blue circle in wonder.
“Let’s go before someone sees us!” Daphne said.
We all jumped through the portal and it closed behind us. We landed in front of a yellow house surrounded by a forest. The place looked like it could’ve been an over-grown dollhouse. Sabrina took a bunch of keys out of her jacket pocket. She walked towards the house and we followed her not too far behind. She unlocked all of the numerous locks on the door. Sabrina then knocked on the door three times and said, “We’re home”. The door flew open and we walked in.
“Oh… my… gosh!” I exclaimed and I looked around. “You weren’t kidding in the series when you were saying how much books are in this house! You could have a whole library!”
I stared in awe at all of the bookshelves. There was bookshelf after bookshelf overflowing with books in one room.
“C’mon! There is so much to see!” Daphne told me. She grabbed my wrist and dragged me upstairs. I could feel myself getting a wedgie. After all, I was still wearing my volleyball spandex shorts! Ignoring the dig, I raced after Daphne up the steps. We nearly bumped into Sabrina at the top.
“Next stop of the tour,” Sabrina said. “Is my room.”
“And mine!” Daphne added.
I remembered from the books that Sabrina and Daphne shared a double bed. Their room used to be their father’s room, Henry Grimm. When Sabrina opened the door I saw all of Henry’s plane models hanging from the ceiling.
“Cool! I love the airplanes your dad put here,” I told Sabrina.
“Thanks!” Sabrina said. “Now, let’s go on. There’s more to see.”
“Where’s Puck?” Daphne asked.
I looked around. It hadn’t occurred to me that he left us.
“He must’ve gone off to his room. We’ll go in there last. There is a lot to see in there!” Sabrina said.
“Oh, I believe that!” I agreed.
Puck’s room is more than amazing. I wouldn’t call it a “room” either. To tell you the truth, the only thing similar to a room over there is the door outside that leads to the actual place.
We left their room and went to the next.
“I think Granny really wants you to see this room. It’ll help a lot with what we will be doing in the next few weeks,” Sabrina told me. She opened the door.
The room was dark and except for a double bed with two adults sleeping on it, the room was almost empty. There was one window and a full-length mirror hanging on a wall. At first I stared at the people on the double bed. It shocked me when I recognized them as Sabrina and Daphne’s parents. I had forgotten that they got them back from their kidnapper. They were both under a sleeping spell, and they have been for more than two years. It’s sad, really.
“They’re still asleep,” Sabrina told me in a low voice. Talking about her parents has always been a touchy subject for her.
“I’m so sorry,” I whispered.
Sabrina looked away, dismissing the subject, and walked over to the mirror. Daphne and I joined her there and stared at our reflection. I smiled. When I smiled, I saw the light blue part of my braces glowed with the reflection. All of a sudden, a man’s face appeared on the mirror. He had angular features and full lips.
“Hello, girls,” He said. He looked at me. “You’ve brought a friend?”
“Yeah. She’s going to be with us for a while,” Sabrina told him. She turned to me. “Tasha, this is Mirror.”
Mirror is the character from “Snow White”.
“It’s finally great to meet you,” I said.
“You too,” Mirror said. “But finally great to meet me?”
“She’s heard of all of us before,” Sabrina explained to him. “She’s the person we’ve been looking for to help us out.”
“Ah…I see. Do you girls wish to come in?” Mirror asked.
I was about to say “yes” but Sabrina said, “No thanks. Not now, anyway. We have to show her the rest of the house.”
“See you later, then,” Mirror said.
Daphne and I followed Sabrina out of the room.
When Mirror asked us if we would like to come in, he meant step into the mirror. Inside of it is a place called “The Hall of Wonders”, or as Granny Relda (Sabrina and Daphne’s grandmother) called it, “The World’s Biggest Walk-in Closet”. Inside is what seems like a never-ending hall full of magical tools.
Sabrina took us downstairs and there we saw the kitchen and the dining room. When we went back upstairs we went back down the hall. That’s when we heard a constant banging of objects and a man groaning. We exchanged looks. We knew it was Mr. Canis and his troubles fighting his alter ego, the Big Bad Wolf. Unable to help the poor man, we continued the tour. Sabrina and Daphne showed me the bathroom and their Granny’s bedroom. Then we stopped in front of a door to a room. On the door was sign that had a drawing of a crocodile. It said, “ALL INTRUDERS WILL B EATIN”. I knew this was Puck’s bedroom. I grew excited.
“Now, the last stop of the tour,” Sabrina said. “I present to you…Puck’s room!”
Sabrina flung open the door, ignoring the sign. We stepped inside and the door closed behind us.
I gasped. Down at my feet was real grass. Around me was a whole forest. When I looked up I saw a sky with clouds. Kites were where the ceiling should’ve been. In the background a waterfall was spilling into a lagoon, and a roller coaster flew over my head. I also saw an ice cream truck, a mechanical bull, a wrestling box with a real kangaroo in it with boxing gloves, chipmunks, birds, a bunch of trees, rocks, chimpanzees, an old record player on a table, and a trampoline. I felt like crying. This was paradise.
“We’ve seen Puck’s room. Now where’s Puck?” Daphne said.
“We better get out of here,” Sabrina told us.
We didn’t need to be told twice. We ran for the door down the trail. All of a sudden, a net picked us up off the ground. We were smushed against each other in the net, which was hanging from a tree.
“PUCK!” We all screamed at the same time.
The fairy boy appeared out of a thick brush of trees. He had changed into his dirty green hoodie and blue jeans.
“How many times do I have to tell you to knock first?” he asked.
“Even if we knock you never answer! So I don’t see the point!” Sabrina yelled.
Puck scowled as he said, “Well, I hope this is a lesson to you! Men!”
That’s when chimpanzees walked out of the woods from behind him. They each had on adorable yellow overalls.
“They’re so cute!” I blurted out on accident. I wanted to cover my mouth with my hand, but currently my arm was under Sabrina’s leg.
Puck looked at me. “They are far from cute, Vasquez! Sullivan, step up front!”
A chimp walked up to its boy leader. This chimp had on red overalls and wore medals around his neck.
Puck turned to him. “This girl right here called you cute.”
He said the word “girl” like if he was saying “poop”.
“Are you going to take that, soldier?” Puck yelled.
The chimp screeched and jumped.
“Good. Now what are you going to do about it?”
The chimp turned to his “army”. He screamed something at them. They nodded their heads and screamed back, jumping up and down with pure excitement. They all went into the woods and came back with a long, green, hose. Next they turned it on. I was expecting water to be sprayed on me, but I was wrong. The next thing I know I was being spayed with vinegar that was died yellow. I gagged. I hate the smell of vinegar.
“Let us down!” Sabrina demanded.
“Whatever you say. Men, cut them down!” Puck commanded.
The chimps dropped the hose and ran to us. All the chimps held up one chimp over their head. The chimp at the top chewed the rope keeping us up until it broke. We all screamed as we fell. The landing was almost worse than being caught in a net.
“Ouch!” I said.
“Sabrina, get your face out of my butt!” Daphne complained.
“Get your butt outta my face!” Sabrina yelled back.
Puck hollered with laughter. I helped up my friends, giving him an evil look.
“Now, how am I supposed to get back to volleyball like this?” I asked.
“Take a shower here. Then you can go back,” Sabrina said.
“Sounds good to me,” I replied.
Once I did, I was about to go back through the portal.
“One more thing,” Sabrina said. “At school, don’t call Puck and I by our real names. Say Peter and Anna. Next time you come over, you’ll meet Granny.”
“Okay. I’ll see you tomorrow. Bye!” I said.
“Bye!” She called back.
I went through the portal back into Rose Bush High School.

Here's a Sisters Grimm fan fiction that I wrote a long time ago! So, the writing isn't that great but it should be OK. It belongs to a whole series of mine, so they me what you guys think!

Chapter 1- New Students

It was very strange at first… great… but strange. I couldn’t believe my luck. Ever since I started reading The Sisters Grimm books I loved it. They are my really my younger sister’s books, but I didn’t care. I got obsessed with the series and hooked was an understatement for me. I knew that these books were just stories and are not real… that’s what...

Chapter 2- Imposters?

Kristen took a good look at Peter when we were in the music room next period. He and Anna were in our music class as well.
“He seriously does,” Kristen said. Even though she had never read the book series, she had to deal with me talking about the series all the time, so she knew what the characters looked like.
“What about that girl, Anna, he hangs out with? Doesn’t she look like the character Sabrina? They act like the characters too,” I said, “maybe a little too much. Do you think they could actually be the people?”
“Nah, it can’t be,” Kristen disagreed....
