It was our final month of school this month was the most nerve wracking with graduation, prom and another one of us turning 18. Also since we took all of our exams last month we were waiting for the results of the test to post seeing if we got to spend the rest of our high school days living our lives or spending them in the classrooms until you passed that test so you could walk across the stage the same day as your friends. Luckily when they were posted the second week of May which was 2 weeks before graduation and 12 days before prom we found out that all of us passed every exam with flying colors even though some of us barely made the mark luckily that was not any of us Winx; but some of our boyfriends. So as we picked up our prom dresses from alterations, received our class rings, caps and gowns, it finally set in that we are seniors and these are our last days at Alfea, Red Fountain or Cloudtower even though they didn’t interact with us as much. So when the day of prom arrived we all went to the salon to get our hair, nails and make up done for the biggest dance in our lives Prom. Once we went back to Alfea we pulled on our dresses and the only sounds heard where the ruffling of taffeta, silk, cotton mixes, the sliding of zippers, lacing of corsets, snapping of shoes and sliding the perfect jewelry on to go with the most important dresses we owned at the time. When we went to the courtyard to the place where our boyfriends of fiancé was and the limo to take us to dinner we were enchanted by seeing our guys and tuxes as they saw us in our dresses. It was the most magical moment of my life and once dinner was over we went back to Alfea for the night of our dreams and for one of us it was a night to remember. Since when Flora sang Love Story by Taylor Swift apparently she was in on what was going to happened because when she motioned to the center of the dance floor when she sang “he knelt to the ground, pulled out a ring and said marry me Juliet”, everyone parted to see what was going on. The rest of the Winx and I just gasped at the sight because Riven knelt down on the tile floor, pulled out a ring and asked Musa to marry him; of course she said yes and everyone applauded for the newly engaged couple and for Flora as she got off the stage and headed back to dance with her man. Sadly as that night came to a close we all cried since this was our last school dance as students, and who knows when the next dance in our lives will be obviously Flora and Musa knew that in the future they would have a dance in beautiful white dresses that I was going to start working on at the time with the man of their dreams; but had no clue when. So when that night was over we all went our separate ways back to our rooms because in 2 days we would be graduating. The day after prom was filled with so many tears because we packed up our stuff in our dorm rooms to take home after graduation; so the only items that were not packed away were our purple or white cap and gowns, cords from clubs and sports and our graduation dresses and heels pressed for tomorrow. That next day we all smile as we listened to the speech given by the valedictorians which were Flora and Helia after that we stood up one at a time as our names were called by Professor Saladin, Ms. Griffin or Headmistress Faragonda. As we took our diplomas and hugged each one because a handshake meant nothing after the past four years, I wasn’t sure who cried more as we walked down the opposite steps with our diplomas in hand as we went towards our seats and held each other’s hands since this was our last moment on the school grounds. Once the ceremony was over the 14 of us posed for pictures with the teachers, principals, other family members, and each other with our diplomas and special awards with the places we have called home in the background. It was the most perfect way to end our high school days; but now we are here searching for any clue that could lead us to the person that did this but we may never know and lose one of our best friends or family members after the even that took place this morning.
