After everyone had eaten and had a good meal, Summer noticed that the time had come to leave the house and head to where the stores were because they were about to be open. “Louise? Amanda? Linda? Follow my lead and let me do all the talking in the stores because I’m on a first name basis with the owners as well as the salespeople. In all of these stores that we’ll be shopping in, I have an account so all of my purchases as well as yours will be on my account. It’s going to take some time because I’ll need to update my information since Kyle and I have combined our bank accounts into a joint account as well as my address since I’m no longer living with my father and with him in our own home plus I want to go ahead and change my last name to Abbott since I’m no longer going to be Summer Ann Newman but rather Summer Ann Abbott once we’re married.”
    “Have you guys already combined your bank accounts into a joint account?”
    “Yes. We did it the day that we got engaged because we knew that we would eventually have to once we gained custody of Nicole as well as our parental rights.”
    Everyone then headed to the direction where the stores were so they could shop until they dropped, especially Summer. She knew every inch of the square where the stores were and made sure that they got the best since she was the shopping queen. “I had some shirts made for the four of us to not only wear today but for every single time we go shopping together. From here on out, I’ve designated the three of you as my shopping ladies in waiting because I have designated myself as the shopping queen. I had Nicole ask your daughters for your shirt sizes so I could get them right. As for our men, I didn’t leave them out because I had special ones made for them. Since I’ve designated myself as the shopping queen and the three of you as my ladies in waiting, I’ve designated Kyle as the king of carrying my bags and your men will be his gentlemen in chamber which means they’re going to be carrying your bags everytime we go shopping. Once again, Nicole asked the girls for their sizes as well. I already knew Kyle’s size since we live together.” Summer explained.
    “Why are our shirts different than everyone else’s shirts, Summer? Why did you designate us as the king and queen in regards to what we do when you’re shopping?” Kyle asked.
    “Babe, you’re the one who said that we needed to start cementing our status as Genoa City royalty. That’s why I’m the Queen when it comes to shopping and you are the King when it comes to carrying my bags.”
    “What are the other pet names that the two of you like to call each other because we’ve never used them at all?”
    “We call each other babe, sweetheart, darling, honey, my love, my dearest, and pumpkin. I use my queen and beautiful plus my pink queen as well as snowflake because she’s my snowflake. Summer uses my king but she has one that is just for me. She calls me her white king and also uses handsome as a pet name.”
    “Snowflake is my favorite because Kyle came up with it all on his own. Our love story has not been easy and we’ve had to deal with a lot more complications than any other couple but we’ve managed. Since we have history and have known each other a long time, there are things about each other that we know but no one else does.”
    As they were talking and walking, they noticed that they had reached the spots where the stores were which made Summer’s face light up. “We’re here and it’s time to start shopping so let me do the talking. Growing up in families like ours, Kyle and I were taught Italian as well as many other languages which is why the three of you should let me do the talking in case they speak to us in Italian.”
    “We’ll do that, Summer.”
    Summer led them into the store and immediately spotted her favorite saleswoman who always worked with her when she was shopping there. “It’s so good to see you, Summer. We’ve missed having you here.”
