„House is a very sad man. Dr. Wilson told me that.“ Her fourth child, a girl, who was normally rather quiet, entered the conversation.
Thirteen raised her head again and looked up at her youngest child.

„I ran away when we were at the hospital, waiting for daddy. Then I met him.“, Madeline told her mother and continued eating.
„You ran away? Orlando, I told you to take care of her!“
„She was too fast for me.“, Orlando replied, with his mouth filled with noodles.
„I want to marry Dr. Wilson, when I´m older. He was very kind to me.“, Madeline said and smiled.
„You… what???? You can´t marry him.“, Remy said and looked at her, a little scared that her 4 year old nestling was talking of marriage.
„I can!“
„No, you can´t !! Go to your room, now!“, Remy ordered and watched Madeline´s eyes filling with tears as she stood up and left.
A moment later she was sorry for freaking out like that, but she had good reasons…
The boys started whispering at the table. They were very surprised, because her mother almost never yelled at Madeline, but always at them.
It was very clear that Remy couldn´t be mad at Madeline very long, and so she stood up and entered her room.
„Hey cutie…“, she said softly and saw Madeline lying in her bed, „ I´m sorry… I shouldn´t have sent you away.“
Madeline raised her head and looked at her mother with tear-stained eyes.
