Just a little something. I've actually been depressed at how I haven't had a smidgen of inspiration for so long! Grrrr. Anyway, hope you like it. Comment and rate, ya know you want to!
Chocolate Polar Bears
The time was 3am. Tony was sleeping soundly, shaking his legs occasionally. Ziva, however, was wide awake, pacing the floors. Of course, she didn't make a sound. Ninja skills, afterall.
She wanted it so much. And when an assassin wanted something, they'd get it. But for the life of her, she just couldn't bear waking up the beautiful man, who usually slept next to her. Even what she wanted wasn't worth that.
But she didn't have to. Tony jerked awake, his green orbs not even moving as he looked at her. He tensed himself and swung out of bed, hurriedly walking to the other side, where Ziva stood.
"Is something wrong?", he asked, concerned.
Her head bowed, but her eyes looked up a him. He held onto her arms and stared at her until she said something.
"No, Tony, nothing is wrong." She chuckled, she loved how worried he got sometimes.
He breathed a sigh of relief and relaxed. "Then why are you pacing the floors at 3am?"
"Cravings." she whispered innocently. "This baby is gonna make me explode soon, I swear!"
She wasn't even finished speaking, and Tony was already putting on his jeans. He walked over to Ziva and touched her stomach. "Why didn't you wake me?"
"I didn't want to. You looked so peaceful."
He grinned, that smile that made her go weak at the knees.
"Listen, I don't care what time it is, you always wake me, even if it's only for some grapes. You hear me?" He said softly. "Our baby boy is gonna love his food, just like his daddy, I can tell." He grinned again.
"Do you know what I want?" she asked, climbing back into bed.
"Silly question, sweet cheeks, of course I do!" He grabbed the keys from the dresser and opened the door, but before he got to walk out, Ziva spoke.
"Hey, it could be a girl you know."
"Dream on, Ziva. I'll be back soon," he said cheerily, coming back to kiss her on the forehead, "I'll get extra tubs, you'll want some tomorrow." He grinned and walked out the door, while Ziva made herself comfortable.
She felt so lucky to have Tony. She didn't deserve him. Who else would have gone out to buy Ben and Jerry's at 3am for their pregnant wife?
But she knew, that no matter how much she craved those dark chocolate polar bears, she wanted Tony more. She would over anything.
The End
I know, I know, the ending totally sucks, but I'm getting back in my groove LOL. So.... comment and rate?
