Okay, I wrote this after I’ve seen the promo for “Jack Knife”, so it’s a bit AU. I wanted to post it, but then I lost it in my files, don’t know how it happened myself. Now I found it again and decide to post it. English isn’t my mother tongue, but I hope there aren’t too many grammar and spelling mistakes. I really tried to sort them out, but if there are one, they are mine. Hope you like it. (I love comments, so please tell me what you think.)
Maybe you know it, I’m sure you do, but unfortunately I don’t own NCIS, it’s sad, but I can’t change it. : )

In a sort of a relationship

This should have been a beautiful day. Not much work. A nice and boring afternoon in the big squad room with coffee and the snack vending machine. But now they had a case. Bad thing. Undercover work for Ziva. And Tony almost freaked out. It wasn’t a problem for him to see Ziva working undercover. But the person she worked with was making him… crazy.
He sat at his desk and tried to make everyone think, that he stared at his computer monitor. But he wasn't staring at it. He gazed at Ziva. She sat at her desk and laughed. Tony didn't want to watch THEM, it was depressing. And again she laughed. Next to Ziva stood Ex - Corporal Damon Werth. This stupid guy had to work on this case too, as her undercover partner. And Tony almost freaked out. Tony wasn't jealous. Or better he would never admit he was jealous. But he was. Really. Seeing Ziva with him was hard. It showed him how much he loved her. How much he cared about her. Tony hated Werth. The guy who made Ziva laugh. Even McGee realized their little flirt. He looked at them too and smiled. He was happy for Ziva. But Tony didn’t let anyone suspect anything. This was his job. And he always did his job well. No matter what. Tony hammered on his keyboard. Ziva looked at him and he just shrugged with his shoulders, but inside of him he was happy that she had looked at him for a moment and not at Werth.
"It doesn't work." he apologized. It was working great, but he only wanted to interrupt the couple in front of him. Actually he wasn't allowed to be jealous. That was the deal. Tony didn't even know, if this was a part of the deal. He hated the deal. Even more than Werth. That would be a great title for a movie. Maybe it already existed. The deal between him and Ziva was different. And in his eyes this deal was totally stupid and not important.

****

"What about a deal?" Ziva asked, while she was searching for her under wear. She had wrapped the soft blanket around her body, so she wasn’t completely naked.
"What deal?" Tony was about to prepare his camera for his sight-seeing tour, but he had to do something better. This meant watching Ziva, running trough their room. He really hoped she would lose the thin blanket. His eyes followed her. She raised her eyebrow.
"Can you please stop to undress me with your eyes?" she asked him with a bright smile on her lips. She knew herself that he wouldn’t stop. And she knew that she wouldn’t want him to stop. But this was something she would never admit. Maybe it was her pride. Maybe it was the fear to be hurt again. She didn’t know herself.
Tony nodded, just to please her. Just to make her happy.
"Your deal? What is it about?" he asked. He asked this question, so she would forget about the last few sentences. And it worked. But he regreted it just a moment later.
“Sure. Rule Number 12 doesn't work in Paris and when we are in DC again we… act like before. Annoying each other like we always do. Gibbs won't kill us and we…don't know. We’ll see. Are you okay with it?" These words hit him hard. Tony didn’t know an easy answer. Ziva didn’t know one either, but she said this to come clean about what happened last night, to keep her job, to keep the friendship she shared with him. Ziva finally found her black bra on the floor beneath the bed.
"I’m okay with it." Tony said with a calm voice. But he wasn’t. And he would show her that he wasn’t.

****

Jealousy wasn't a part of their deal. He was sure about it. But in fact they couldn't keep up their deal. Paris had happened 4 weeks ago and they had seen each other outside work for more than 1 time since then. Better more than 10 times. Almost every day. Their movie nights were something special and unique for him. Tony was excited about it every time. He hoped Ziva felt the same.
"Can I ask you out for tonight?" Werth suddenly suggested. Tony opened his mouth and hid behind his monitor, so they couldn't see him. Ziva smiled. She could see Tony's face. She wanted to see what he would say, if she would agree. If he would say anything or if he would just stay behind his desk.
"I'm sorry Damon. I'm in a sort of a relationship right now." she answered, but she didn't waste a gaze at Tony. Ziva tried to be as cool as ice, if this idiom was right. He smiled and concentrated on his work again. Or he pretended to concentrate on his work again. Tony was a great pretender. McGee, who sat at his desk, was surprised. But he wasn't as stunned as Damon. Werth didn't say anything and left.
"You are in a relationship?" McGee asked curiously. He had never heard Ziva speaking of a boyfriend or anything similar.
"In a sort of a relationship. That's a big difference." Ziva answered him and looked at Tony. He was still smiling.
"And where is the difference?" McGee asked. Ziva frowned, and then she shrugged her shoulders.
"I don’t know."

****

Tony was standing in his bathroom and tried to fix his chaotic, brown hair.
"Your face was priceless this afternoon. I should have taken a photo." Ziva said. He turned around and saw her leaning against the door frame in a hot and sexy pose.
"That wasn't nice. He is so… Werth isn’t worth to describe him." Tony said and looked into the mirror again.
"Sure. You looked that way." she teased him. She wanted a reaction. She wanted to prove if he really felt something for her. And making him jealous helped to prove it.
"Was that sarcasm, Miss David?" Tony asked with his usual "Bright-white-Tony-smile.
"What if it was sarcasm, Jealousy?" Ziva knew that he would hate this name. Another reaction thing.
"Did you just call me Jealousy?" he asked unbelieving. Tony was surprised and impressed by her self-confidence.
"Just to try if you like it. I can think about even better nick names, if you don’t like it. I think Hairy Butt is a bit used, don't you?" she asked with a bright smile. She wouldn’t ever tell him, but actually she lived for such moments.
"Does there exist a rule, which says you aren't allowed to kill your lover?" Tony asked and took some steps until he stood in front of Ziva.
"No, but I think the American law maybe says something different." She lent forward till her lips almost touched his. She could feel the sparks between them.
"Agent David studies for her test, how could I forget?” he said softly. Ziva smirked.
"You only have to remember that you aren’t allowed to break rules."
"We are already breaking every rule." he sighed and kissed her.
"Not every, just one. And I never liked the number 12" she answered and with her answer she ended their kiss.
"Why are you in such a pleasant mood? What's wrong with you?" Tony asked and used her words from Paris. Ziva laughed and thought about a good answer.
"I slept well last night. Why didn't you? You looked comfy enough." she answered with his words. They smiled at each other. They both knew this moment would end. It wouldn’t last forever, but they knew they would remember it when it had ended.
"We can repeat it." Tony answered and his eyes found Ziva’s.
"Every time."

ZIVA'S POV
I walked to Abby's lab to say goodbye for the weekend.

"Ziva!" she said franticly.
"Yes,Abby?" I replyed.
"Now,for Tony's birthday,you should dress up in a Hooter's outfit."
"Oh no,I forgot about his birthday!"
Abby looked as if she wanted to kill me.
"Anyway,I cannot make it,I have a date."
She headslapped me,hard.
"Well,to bad then." the forensic scientist retorted....

Abby franticly raced around her lab completing various tasks. She was trying to keep her mind off of Tony and Ziva. It had only been two weeks since they had departed and she had confessed to McGee about going through “Hebrew” withdrawals and being behind on the latest movie craze. Gibbs had promised her a surprise that morning and she assumed it would be a new Caf-Pow! Card for the year seeing as the one she had was about to expire.

“McGee, have you seen that forensics report I finished just this morning? I swear I came back down here with it after I saw you and The Boss Man.”

“No,...

This was actually going to be my submission for the TFFF, but I changed my mind. I hope you enjoy it, though :)

In her apartment, Ziva watched news of an explosion, from somewhere across the country. Tony had been sent on an undercover mission in Los Angeles, working with NCIS Los Angeles team. Ziva hoped that he was all right. She had to tell him something important.
Her cell phone rang. She picked it up, not recognising the number. “Hello?”
“Ziva?” It was one of the L.A. Agents.
“Agent Callen? What is going on?”
“That news of an explosion on TV? You watching it?”
“Yes. Why?”...

Tony being Tony let the girl in, even though Ziva was on his couch asleep. Once the girl was inside Tony led her to the kitchen. They introduced themselves. About this time Ziva woke up at the sound of Tony dropping a beer bottle. She ran in the kitchen, gun in hand and screaming. At that, the guest, Lizzy, screamed and Tony yelled for every body to calm down. That's when Ziva finally noticed Lizzy, but all Lizzy seemed to...

It's been a week after Samalia and she still is being withdrawn, acting like someone is going to pop out of no where and drag her back there. Back to all the pain and torture. Tony knows that that is imposible but even if it wasn't it wouldn't happen. He wouldn't let it. He would not loose her again. He sighs as he gets to his desk and sinks in his chair. They had just finished a case and now it was time for paperwork. To his surprise his computer made a dinging sound signaling that he hd a new instant message. He opened up...

Radiation poisoning meets metaphor

*****

Radiation poisoning. Radiation poisoning was bad. Really bad. Ziva thought so. In her mind Radiation let people think about their death. It let people think about other people’s death. It let people think about a specific person’s almost death. And that was the problem with radiation poisoning. That was the problem with bombs. That was the problem with everything that could kill people.

Come on, Ziva. His sentence echoed in her mind. Like a little...

What The Heart Wants
Chapter 1: In the Ladies' Room?

What had driven Ziva to this point in life? Every time she had given her heart to someone, they always ended up giving it back to her in tiny little pieces, so tiny that she could never put them back together. But now her heart was whole once more and she didn’t even know why. Was it because she was selfishly in love, or was it because she knew that the special someone in her life was the one and he didn’t even know it. How much longer would Ziva have to keep her feelings hidden in the closet?

Would she always have to carry this love and...

It was Tuesday. As Ziva rode the elevator up to the bullpen alone, she could not avoid dwelling on the last three weeks. A desperate search to find Jackson Gibbs, days of terror, a thrill of relief at seeing his kind, if exhausted, face, blessedly unharmed, the fearsome crack crack of two gunshots during the rescue–-and suddenly, just like that, it was over. Paloma and Alejandro lay dead in the battle, McGee shaking as he replaced his gun in its holster and ran to Jackson’s side.

Today was boring, but boring was a relief. It was just another Tuesday, just the...

Life after you

The sun rose in morning. The sun sank down on the horizon at the end of the day. Day after day. Time passed by unnoticed. Rain drops fell from sky and dried up again. Wind blow through the city and the skyscrapers. Leaves lay under big trees. Children ran through the streets. Flowers lost the last colour. Autumn was a beautiful season of the year. Autumn should be a beautiful season.

Everyone needed a personal life. Everyone deserved happiness. Everyone wanted someone to cry out at his shoulder. Important content in life. All this wasn’t important for her. She wanted vengeance....

The blood in his veins froze. Tony was sitting on the most uncomfortable chair in his whole life and that made him crazy. Being a nervous wrack would be overstated, but it hit the mark. It was just a cheap, plastic seat. Not ideal for hospitals. Relatives and friends, who spent 24 hours here, needed something better, he thought. Beside him, in front of him and everywhere around him – A rush of colours running up and down the hallways. Nurses with clothes, coloured like the...
