“Not long till I meet you little one.” she whispered as she ran her hand slowly down her swollen belly.
“It seems like it has been forever, not nine months. I am going to admit something to you but you can not tell anyone okay? I am scared. A good scared. The kind of feeling I had when your farther proposed. I wanted it so much but a part of me was frightened, terrified in fact. I did not want anything to go wrong, I wanted nothing more then to love him forever and for him to love me too. I want you to love me too, what if when you come, you do not like me? What if I am not what you want? What if I am not a good mother? I do not have any experience at this and I do not want to mess this up. I want you to know that no matter what happens in life, no matter what we three go through, I will always be there for you and love you with all of my heart. I have never wanted anything more then to be a mother and to watch a child that is mine grow up into a beautiful human being and know that I had some part to play in that. I have longed for the day when I would be able to hold a life in my arms and just love it with every part of me I possible can.” her hands kept slowly moving up and down her perfectly rounded bump, she always talked to her, she felt that it would soothe the baby and she would be able to here her mothers voice.
“Daddy’s scared too you know, but I know he will make an amazing farther for you, the men will have to fight him for you. You will be his little angel and will not do any wrong in his eyes. We are going to cherish you, love you and do everything we can for you. I know it will be hard at first, but I know we can do it, I am positive. I just hope we will be enough for you.” she gave her tummy one last rub before she lent back on the bed and rested her head on the pillow.
A hand slowly reached over and lay it softly on her bump, he was gentel as always, to scared that his baby girl might get hurt. Deep down he knew she wouldnt but he did not want to chance it.
“We are going to get through this Ziva, you are going to be the best mom any kid could ever wish for, I have no dobt in my mind she is going to love you. We will do this, there are going be times when we feel we cant but I know for a fact we will work together and pull though. Just like always. I promise to always be here for you and her, you two are all I have and all I want to love. This is just the beginning.”
He lent over and left a soft kiss on her tummy, rubbing his hand gently over the same spot, Ziva’s hand came up to meet his, laying it softly over his and tangling her fingers with Tony’s. His lips met with hers and they shared a sweet kiss that was like a seal of approval, that they were in this together, all three of them.
