12.) The Stuck Together Episode. This usually involves the main character somehow getting stuck to someone they hate, and then they have to learn to get along. In "Angela Anaconda" Angela and Nanette get the same piece of gum stuck in there hair. In "Sabrina: the Animated Series a spell backfires and she ends up getting herself stuck to Gem. Even in 'Family Guy" Brian and Stewie get themselves stuck together with glue.
11.) The Trapped Overnight Episode. In "What's With Andy" Jen and her friend get locked in the school. In "What About Mimi?" Mimi and her friends Elaine and Herbert get locked in a museum where they run into two other kids from there school, but they did eventually find a way out.
10.) The Animal Town Hero Episode. In both "Angela Anaconda" and "Fairly Odd parents" there towns have a four legged hero. In "Angela" it warned of a fire, and i think same with Chompy it was the same deal, but I could be wrong. Is this based on something or is it a coincidence ?
9.) The Boys VS Girls Episode. In this episode one gender will challenge the other, resulting in one of three outcomes. The girls win, and the boys learn a valuable lesson in girl power. They both win, or they decide not to do it after all. Zoey 101 had one like this. In south park however the boys win, and one of the girls, Lizzie, even hets carried off by a bear.
8.) Tomboy in a Beauty pageant. This usially happens when someone sines up a tomboy for one as a joke. Said tomboy at first doesn't want to do it, but her male friends convince her otherwise. At the end they win because they just be themselves. Of coarse, they would never in real life. I can think of a few shows who have used this one such as Recess, Being Ian and the Simpsons did a slight variation on it (although Lisa is more of a nerd then a tomboy)
7.) The "I'm Moving" Episode. Heres the story. A kid hears there folks talking and assumes there moving. They tell there friends who go to great lengths to prevent it. After a while they just accept it and say goodbye. But then it turns out there not moving after all. Of coarse this can sometimes be other things, such as a divorce. Shows that used this were Angela Aniconda, Recess, Thats So Raven and countless others.
6.) The Blackmail Episode. One mean character blackmails our hero into being there personal assistant. In What About Mimi Sincerity gives her an outfit for picture day. In Angela Anaconda Nanette found a mean list Angela made about her friends. It's always something.
5.) The Save the _____ Episode. In this one, something beloved is being torn down so everyone bans together to save it. In Recess this happens to there jungle gym. What About Mimi used it twice! one's for an old house and again for a tree.
4.) The Gender Swap Episode. One character pretends to be the other gender for whatever reason and learns something along the way. Why can nobody ever recognize there friends? A few shows I can think of right now are The Jetsons, Fairly Odd parents, What's With Andy?, Clone High and Zoey 101.
3.) the "We Used to be Best Friends Episode". This is more comman in girls shows and is usially the pilot episode, but not always. She and her sworn enimy the popular mean girl used to be BFF but then they got into a fight (or "You went off to summer camp and when you came back you were different") and now they hate eachother. Some that have done this are Lizzie McGuire, Angela Anaconda,and Braceface.
2.) the Rock Band episode. Here they form a band for some reason, weather it be a contest, raising money or a behind the music style episode. Some that had it were What About Mimi (again they did this twice), Sabrina the Animated Series, Angela Anaconda, Braceface, Proude Family, Saved by the Bell and Even Stevens.
1.) and the number one lame tv show bail out episode plot is.....the school election episode! one character pushes another to run for school president and becomes there campagne manager. Some that did it were What About Mimi, Lizzie McGuire, Proude Family, Kim Possible, American Dad, Clone High,Rainbow Fish and the Simpsons.
Honerable Mensions: the bonding with the mean girl episode (Lizzie McGuire, Proude Family,) and the musical episode (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Even Stevens, Clone High, South Park) the "it;s a wonderfull life parody (Rainbow Fish, Married with Childeren, Tiny Toon Adventures)
