Okay, back to the topic. So, I was surprised, but then it turns out that it was obvious. They didn't show the TDDDDI until the season (TDI!) was way over, so it was unexpected. But when Chris introduced the show at the beginning of TDI, he qualified that this was Season ONE. This was the first hint that there was gonna be a season 2.
But they did make things weird on here. First of all, they made it seem like Duncan and Gwen were starting to like eachother, but you never know. Duncan might be flirting with Gwen to make Trent jealous, or maybe Gwen was doing that to Courtney.
Secondly, Izzy's had wayyyyy too many chances to win. First on TDI, she had 2 chances. Then on TDA, she had 2 more- maybe 3- chances to win! And she still doesn't.
I've been a TDI/A fan like forever, anyway. But, one thing that's weird is that, you know, when people post videos on YouTube about 'Couples Five Years Later,' they make them all get married n have kids and all that. Annnd, Courtney always seems nicer.
Another thing about Courtney, her mood changes easily. Like, for example, in the 2nd Aftermath she was all, "Duncan is mine! You can't have him!"
to Gwen, but when she came back she was like, "You're a total neanderthal! You're gonna get it!" to Duncan, as if she really never cared. And isn't it weird how she always catches herself off guard, saying Duncan looks cute or whatever, then says she doesn't care.
And her kung fu moves. When did she know them? If she wanted to win so badly, in TDDDDI, why didn't she take down the other campers? Like she took down Duncan, her BF? If she's willing to take down her boyfriend, but not others she doesn't care about, I've totally changed my mind about her. Courtney was more of a "Heather" than a "Courtney" anyway. ("No offense, Courtney...")
Sure, Court is totally ROCKIN' the challenges-she only lost once since she came back-but you'd have to admit, she was a little SCARY. I was surprised at how her mood swings. She can be nice when she wants to, but... okay, watch the third challenge of Rock n' Rule. Yyyyyeah.
I'm also surprised at Lindsay's "dumbness". The only person who's ever called her smart is Beth. And that wasn't exactly smart, just a cheesy line from way back.
Chris wanted to make the show more "dramatic" right? When he asked Owen to come back for 50,000 dollars? Well, one person would've definately made the cast more dramatic.
And that person is... Gwen. Yeah, it's true, think about it! With Duncan and Courtney there, and Harold, who might be 'a little attracted to her,' things will be more dramatic than ever.
And, she's my fave character. Oh, okay, 2nd fave.
Duncan, Courtney and Gwen would make a perfect love triangle! Duncan being attracted to Courtney, Gwen denying liking Duncan, Courtney jealous of Gwen.
BTW, in case u wanted to know, the final two are Duncan and Beth. It's true. And Beth wins, so sad. Not 'so sad' because of Beth, 'so sad' because of Duncan not winning.
