The POV meeting ended there, and the players went to go talk about their strategies.
Ryker went to his room, Lexie following him. Already there were Kyle and Alice.
“How you feeling, Ryker?” Lexie asked.
“Nervous. I need to get someone on my side, if I don’t win, I’m screwed.” Ryker responded. “At least I have you guys, right?” He looked mainly at Alice, giving a sweet little smile.
Alice’s Confessional
“I’m not sure what to think of Ryker. He seems sweet, but you never really know with this game.”
“Yeah, of course!” Lexie replied.
“Sure,” Alice said.
Kyle rolled his eyes, “I’m gonna go outside, who’s all out there?”
“Oh!” Lexie said. “Um... I think Corre and Emily are talking out there.”
Ryker gave Kyle a little look as he walked away, “Alice?”
“Hm?”
“Does he like me?”
Alice shrugged, “Who knows...?”
Corre and Emily lay on a hammock together, they were talking and laughing.
“So okay?” Corre chuckled. “You’re actually scared of feet?”
Emily smiled widely, “They’re so weird... I’m scared of thing really, but they’re just gross and I don’t like them!”
Corre laughed, “That’s ridiculous,”
Kyle grabbed a lawn chair and brought it over to their hammock, not really realizing he was interrupting them.
“I need to ask you guys something,”
“Okay?” Emily’s eyebrow rose, “What’s up?”
“What do you think of Ryker?”
Corre looked at Emily, and then back at Kyle, “Why do you ask?”
“I don’t like the way he’s been getting close to some of the females in the house.”
Emily questioned, “Like who?”
“Lexie, Alice, apparently he was talking to Sabrina and April a little bit too.”
“And this is a problem how...?” Corre responded.
“He’s going to use the females against us,”
“Uh, hello.” Emily said. “I’m a female. He hasn’t tried anything on me,”
“Nor has he with Ember, Annie, Robyn and Jayden. Why? Because they all have strong ties to someone else in this game!” Kyle explained. He wanted Ryker gone, he didn’t want anyone getting close to Alice.
“You’re being paranoid,” Emily said simply.
Kyle rolled his eyes, “Fine. I’m going to talk to Cody,”
Corre shrugged at Emily, “Now where were we...?”
Boxxy, Riley, Dayton and Danny were all together in Danny’s room; they were discussing the game and Riley’s position as a potential POV winner.
“What are we going to do?” Riley exclaimed. “Like, what if I win! What will happen then?”
Dayton shrugged, “If I were you… I’d keep nominations the same. You don’t want to get on Francis’ bad side, especially not in the first week.”
“I don’t think you should try and win,” Danny answered.
“But what’s the fun in that!” Boxxy exclaimed. “Riley has to at least try!”
“I guess so,” Dayton replied.
“Just do what you want with it, it’s, it’s your POV.” Danny nodded.
“I just don’t know...” Riley sighed.
“It’s time for the Power of Veto competition!” Robyn called; she was wearing a sexy golf-outfit.
The group of teens walked out into the backyard. The backyard had six platforms for the six players, each with golf clubs and balls and a little hole. At the back of the yard had a box full of letters.
Robyn grabbed the card on the table and read it aloud, “Each time you get a hole-in-one, you can grab a letter. Your goal is to spell out the longest word you can. You have 15 minutes. Good luck.”
Yasmin’s Confessional
“I’m not aiming to win,” Yasmin said. “Winning would only get blood on my hands, and that’s something I don’t want.
“GO!” Robyn yelled.
The group all sprung into action, Francis grabbed his club and began hitting gold balls into the hole as fast as he possibly could.
Francis’ Confessional
“I think my plan for this challenge is to grab as many letters as I can, then use the last five minutes to see how many combinations I can make.”
“Riley has already gotten a hole in one!” Robyn called.
Riley’s Confessional
“I want to win! It’s nice having power in this house.”
Phillip ran to grab his first letter, a U. Great. He knew he needed to win; it was the only way to guarantee that his girlfriend would stay in the house.
At the ten minute mark, everyone ran to their letters to organize them in order. Riley finished first with Annie second, then Francis, Phillip and Yasmin.
The competition was over before they knew it, and each person had their words.
“Time’s up guys!”
Everyone froze in place.
“Francis! What word have you created and how many letters is it?” Robyn asked.
“My word is sexual,”
“Of course...” Wyatt whispered to April, who chuckled.
“Sexual has six letters,” Robyn replied. “Six is the number to beat, Yasmin, you’re up!”
Yasmin revealed her word, “My word is carrot,”
“Carrot and sexual have the same number of letters, six is still the number to beat!” Robyn said. “Annie?”
Annie bit her lip a little and showed her word, “My word is branches.”
Robyn tried to hide her anger, “Annie is in the lead with seven letters for branches, Riley, your turn!”
Riley grinned to herself and showed her word, “My word is accepted,”
Annie’s heart sank. Riley beat her.
“Accepted has eight letters!”
Riley did a little happy-dance.
“Phillip,” Robyn looked at him. “You need a nine letter word if you want to beat Riley.”
Phillip’s hands tightened into fists, he wanted to save Annie. “Octopus,”
“Phillip. Your word was octopus; which is only seven letters,”
“YES!” Riley shouted, jumping up and down with excitement. “YES! YES! YES!”
“Congrats Riley on winning!” Robyn smiled at her and placed the Veto necklace around her neck.
Dayton and Boxxy both ran to her and hugged her tightly.
Riley’s Confessional
“First Power of Veto of the summer! Yaaaay!”
