I can't believe it. Luke thought I did something awesome!
I stared into his bluish-brownish eyes.
They were memorizing. He noticed the large cut I had on my face. "What happened to your face?"
He asked. "Oh, its nothing. I'm just............clumsy.." I said. I looked back at the window.
Luke just stared at me. He knew I was lying.
I couldn't bring myself to tell him about my parents.
The only one I ever told my secrets to were Jake, and Tawni
. A few minutes later we got to school.
I saw Jake an Jinx kissing in the hallway.
"I already lost my best friend to a girl."
I think to myself. “Well at least he's happy."
The my other friend Jake came by.
This Jake had black and blue hair.
Also, he had on a black shirt with a skull on it. He was dating my friend Liam.
"Wassup Gabe?" He said as he swung his arm around my shoulder. "Nothing much. Same as usual."
I replied. "Oh." He said. "Well, I have to go find Liam.
Talk to ya later man!" He ran off. "Later.."
Then Keko came running down the hall.
"Gabe, you have to come quick! Its your sister."
I followed her down to the senior hall, where I say Tawni.........and Toby.
"Come on babe. I thought we had something together!" He shouted at my sister.
"No! I told you, if you bullied my brother again it's over!" She exclaimed.
Tawni walked of to her group of friends.
Toby followed her.
He pushed her into a locker and forced her into a kiss. "Get off me she shrieked.
"Leave her alone!!" I scream.
I run and jump on his back.
(That’s how small I am compared to him)
"She said she doesn’t like you!"
I shout while punching his face.
He throws me onto the ground,
then starts punching and kicking me.
"Gabe!" My sister shouts trying to hold Toby back.
That's the last thing I remember.
After that, everything went black.
When I woke up, I was in the hospital.
My cousin Frost, Tawni, and all my
friends surrounded me.
Even Luke came to see me.
"Look! He's waking up!" Autumn shouts.
"Where am I?" I ask.
"You're in the hospital." Sayu replied.
"Thanks to Toby." Retorts Jake E.
(Since there are two Jake's. I'll
refer to Elkhat's Jake as Jake E.
And Smartone's Jake as Jake S.)
I was only sticking up for my sister.
Why did all this happen?
Why does God have to punish me like this,
for when I didn't do anything wrong?
I started to hear crying. It was coming from Tawni.
"Why are you crying?" Keko asked.
"Because! This is all my fault.
If I hadn't of broke up with Toby, this wouldn't of happened."
Tawni rested her head on my bed. (That rhymes. x3)
I patted her head. I could barely move because of the pain. "It's not your fault Tawni."
Luke said. "It's all Toby's fault!"
"Luke........" I said almost inaudible.
"He's a big baby!
Who would almost kill someone 4 years
younger than you just because a girl dumped you!
I'm gonna show him a piece of my mind."
He clenched his fist,
and was about to walk out the door.
"No!" I shouted. "Don't do it Luke.
He looked at me. "Why?" He said.
"I don't want you getting hurt, because I.....................I.........." before
I could finish my sentence the nurse walked in.
"I'm sorry, but visiting hours are over." She said.
Everyone got up and prepared to leave.
Tawni kissed my forehead. "I'll be back tomorrow
after school." She said I nodded.
After everyone left I turned on the TV, and looked for something to watch.
I began watching Fairly Odd Parents, and Pokemon.
They were some of my favorite
shows when I was a kid.
Soon after, I fell asleep.
A few weeks later I was fine to return home.
But when I did, my parents didn't even care.
They just sat around, as usual.
Tawni wasn't at home.
She was at a sleepover with Boxxy and Paige.
I just went to my room, and cut myself.
Over, and over.
I don't know why I do it.
I don't like the pain.
I don't do it for attention.
It's just because..........I'm sad.
No one accepts me.
I have friends, but they seem to
hang out with others.
What have I done to deserve this cruel punishment?
Should I change the way I act?
The way I look?
Should I just change everything about me....
so people will like me?
I just don't get it..
