Mike

"What is it, doctor? I want my little boy to be OK," said Mike's mom. "I'm not sure. I need Mike to stay over night for further testing. I will need you back around 2:30 tomorrow," replied Emma. "OK," said Mike's mom. She kneeled next to her son and hugged him hard, "It'll be OK, Mike. Emma here will take good care of you. Be a good boy. OK," said Mike's mom. "OK, mommy". They walked out of the room as they gave there last good byes. "Don't worry. You'll be just fine".
They started testing again. Mike was nervous, but not that nervous. Mike and Emma walked to the to the room with the computer, the chairs, the desk and the helmet connected to one of the chairs. Emma connected Mike to the chair and walked over to the computer. Emma searched for something that would tell her that something was wrong with Mike. She wanted to find something. She needed to find something. Emma searched for about an hour until she had found what she saw last time. Four, white, glowing dots. This caused her to think of the terrible thing that needed research. Emma couldn't think of anything else to do after that. Then she decided that she would print out the picture of the glowing dots. After, Emma walked over to Mike and removed the helmet. "Mike, we have one more test for you, so please follow me," replied Emma, worriedly. Mike followed her to a room that was entirely white. There was a desk and two chairs, and on the desk was a large machine. "Mike, this is the screening room. Here I'm going to test you with this large machine or as we call it, the Screen-atron 3000," replied the psychiatrist, "now please sit down". Mike sat down and Emma hooked him up to the machine.(I'm not really sure if this is how screening works). About an hour later they finished the screening process. Emma unhooked Mike and they walked to the waiting room. "Now Mike. I have to go do some things. Why don't you stay out here and watch T.V. or something," said Emma. "OK," replied Mike. He sat down and watched a cooking show, where a man helps restaurant owners make there restaurant more successful. Also, Mike read some books. He waited for a long time for the psychiatrist to finish what she was doing. It felt like five hours until she came out, but it was only like 45 minutes.
Emma finished studying the results and Mike was starving. Emma decided she would take Mike out somewhere. He was aloud to go anywhere. "Where do you want to go for dinner, Mike," asked Emma. "Hm, how about........ Burger King," said Mike. "Ok, Burger King it is," replied Emma. They walked out of the building and to a blue jetta. Mike got in and buckled himself in. Emma started the car and she drove to the nearest Burger King. It took 5 minutes to get there. Emma wanted to talk a little more about Mike's problem, so they decided to eat inside. They walked in and went to order. "I'll have and chicken caesar salad wrap and he'll have a six piece chicken nugget kids meal". "OK, that will be $8.67," replied the cashier. Emma gave him the money and waited for their food. At 6:00 they got their food and sat down. "Now, Mike. Do you know anything about these people you saw in your mind?" asked Emma as she munched on her wrap. "No, I don't know anything about them except their names, but you already know that," replied Mike. "Do you think you could visit them in your sleep?" asked Emma. Mike replied, "yeah, I think so. I'll try to do that,". "Great, let's finish our dinner then we'll head back,". The two of them finished their food and talked about things like school, friends, about Mike and some other things. After, they went back to Emma's office.
Mike was really tired after all the testing ,so it was time for bed. Emma had one of her assistance to reserve a room for Mike to sleep. She led the tired little boy to the room and laid him on the bed. She covered him up so that he was warm enough. Mike fell asleep instantly. Emma left him alone to sleep. He fell deeper and deeper into sleep and eventually was able to get to his subconscious. When he was there he saw exactly what he saw last time. Mike walked to the house that was in the distance to see the people. As he walked there, he could see the house get closer. He wanted to learn more about these people. He walked up to the house and no one was outside, so he rang the door bell. Ding Dong. Manitoba opened the door. "Good day, mate. Come on in,". Mike walked in and was greeted by everyone. They sat dow and Mike started with, " So, I came here to learn more about you guys,". "OK, you want to learn more about us," started Svetlana, "well, I want to be a famous, gold medal olympic gymnasts. Manitoba,". "I'm an Australian explorer, my last name is Smith and I love hats," said Manitoba. "I will beat up any one who insults me and i'm excellent with the ladies, like Manitoba over there, and I don't wear a shirt most of the time," bragged Vito. "Um... OK. Chester," said Svetlana awkwardly. Chester was fast asleep. "Yo, Chester wake up," Vito said as he shook Chester awake. "Oh, sorry. I sleep a lot, I get frustrated most of the time. Back in my day, I,". Chester didn't finish his sentence because he fell asleep again. "Oh, just leave him. Yeah, so that's all of us," said Svetlana. They talked for a while, until Mike had to leave.
Mike woke up the next morning still tired. He just lied there waiting for someone to come and get him. 10 minutes later, a man with blond hair and hazel eyes came in. "Good morning, Mike. How did you sleep?,". "Fine, where's Emma?" asked Mike. "Oh, she is doing some more research. I brought you some breakfast," said the friendly assistant. He brought in eggs, toast, juice, bacon and other breakfast stuff. "There you go. Emma will be in here soon," he said as he handed Mike the tray. "Thank you," replied Mike. The doctor left Mike to eat his breakfast. He ate his breakfast for about 30 minutes. Just when he was about finished Emma came in. She said good morning and asked him how he slept. "Good," replied Mike. "Well good. Did you visit the people in your head last night?" asked the psychiatrist. "Yes,". "Can you tell me what you talked about?". "Yes. Svetlana wants to be a famous, gold medal olympic gymnasts. Manitoba is an Australian explorer, his last name is Smith and he love hats. Vito will beat up any one who insults him and he's excellent with the ladies, like Manitoba, and he don't wear a shirt most of the time. Chester sleeps a lot, he gets frustrated most of the time and says back in my day a lot," replied Mike. "Wow. That's weird. OK finish up with breakfast and stuff, then we will finish the testing" said Emma. Mike finished up with his toast and gave the tray to Emma, who gave it to someone else.
After breakfast, Emma finished up with the testing and research before Mike's parent's showed up. Yesterday she couldn't find anything, but she was determined to find out what was wrong with Mike. She hooked Mike up to the brain machine thing and searched on the computer. For about 10, Emma was searching Mike's brain. Still nothing. She had to find something. Emma searched and searched for at least half an hour. After 30 minutes, Emma finally found something. On the screen she could see the white dots again. She studied them and zoomed in on them. Because of zoom, Emma could now see figures. They were all tall, except for one who was slouched over, one had a hat and one who's hair went down to her hips. She instantly knew that those figures were a girl, a boy and an old man. Emma printed out the picture of the figures. She did some more research on these strange figures. Eventually, she remembered this thing on the computer that was able to see anything in the person's mind. Instantly, Emma went to the thing and looked closer into Mike's mind. The picture became clearer and was now in color. She could see four people. One is a girl with long hair, one was an old man, one was a boy wearing a fedora and one was a shirtless boy. "I knew it," said Emma. She printed a picture and went to take the helmet off the tan boy. "Mike, I know what's wrong with you. Now please come with me,". Mike followed the psychiatrist to one of the rooms and they waited there.
Around 2:45 Mike's parents walked in. They said their hello's and gave each other hugs. "Hello again. Would you please follow me to my office," said Emma. They all followed her to her office. When they were there they sat down. "Ok. After several hours of testing, research and help from Mike, I've found out what is wrong with him. Mike has DID or as some people call it MPD,"."Uh. Can you tell us what that is?" asked Mike's mom. "Yeah, it's Dissociative Identity Disorder, also known as Multiple Personality Disorder,". "Oh no," gasped Mike's dad. "Yes, I know. It's very upsetting. He has four personalities and I know there triggers. A russian gymnast named Svetlana. The trigger is any athletic intellectual. An Italian douche bag named Vito. His trigger is having his shirt ripped off. An old man named Chester who's trigger is getting frustrated. Finally, an australian explorer named Manitoba Smith. That trigger is having a hat on. I'm so sorry," replied Emma. She noticed Mike's mom's eye's tearing up. "There is a treatment, but it takes a few years,". "Thank you doctor, We'll watch out for that,". They talked for a while and made an agreement. Mike would come back every Sunday, so Emma could help him. After the meeting, Mike's parent's were worried and upset. They drove out and to their home.

Five years have passed since Mike and his parents found out he had MPD. He was made fun of a lot, but gradually made more and more friends. His life was pretty good, but when he turned 16 his parents let him audition for a T.V. show called Total Drama Revenge of the Island. He made it on to the show and so did Zoey. Around the 9th episode of this T.V. show, the contestants had to race go-carts. There a guy named Scott hit him with a club near the end of the episode. Mike fought to the death with his personalities and he ended up on top. Mike gained control of his brain. When he woke up, he told Zoey about his personalities. Mike was voted off the island and almost got a kiss from Zoey. After the show, Mike and Zoey started to date. Mike loved his life just how it was.
