Ivie's POV
"First thing in the morning?" I gulped. "But Sir, I have classes to go to!"
"Ivie, you will come straight to my office after breakfast." Headmaster said. "Straight here, no where else."
"Yes sir." I said meekly. "May I bring a friends with me?"
"Why would you want to bring a friend?" He asked confused.
"I would just feel more comfortable is Ian was with me." I said. "I do not really like being all alone at this school."
"No." He said. "I want you to come alone."
"No, no, and no!" I said as I started freaking out. "I am not coming in here alone! I am bringing Ian with me!!"
"Ivie Blackwell!" Headmaster yelled as I flinched at Ian side. "You go by my rules, you are not in charge here!"
Headmaster was truely starting to scare me. I hated when people yelled at me. It scared me a lot. Tears were starting to form in my eyes. I slowly started backing up. A tear slipped from my eye and I bolted out the door.
"Ivie, come back!" Ian said as he came after me. "Ivie!"
I ran to my room and burried myself under my covers. I could not control my sobs.
"Ivie, open the door." Ian said.
"Well hello Ian. Parker said. "What are you doing here."
"Ivie is in there." Ian said. "I need to get in there."
"Fine." Parker growled as I heard the door open.
"Ivie are you okay?" Ian asked as he sat in the chair by my bed.
"No." I mumbled.
"Whatever it is. You will not be alone." He said. "Forget what Headmaster said I will be by you or whoever you want will be right by you when you go to Headmaster's office in the morning."
"I am not going." I sniffed. "I do not like-"
"Ian!" Madeline said. "There you are."
"Great, she is here." I mumbled. "First Parker, now Madeline."
"Talk about it over breakfast in the morning." Ian said.
"Ivie, it is time for breakfast." Ian said.
I groaned. "NOO!!"
"Ivie, we are going to have to talk about this." Ian said. "Why did you really run off last night?"
"Ian." I groaned. "I am not getting out of bed today. I am ditching."
"You cannot ditch a boarding school." Ian said. "And Headmaster will drag you out of your room."
"Than so be it." I said. "I am not going anywhere! I quit!"
"Come on Ivie. Marie said. "We are going to be late for breakfast and Headmaster's office."
"Yeah so get up" Sadie said.
"And get ready!" Gabe added.
"What?" I asked.
"We are all going with you" Marie said.
"We are your friends." Gabe said. "If you do not want to go to Headmaster's office alone then you do not have too!"
"Awe! Thank you guys." I said.
"Marie, Gabe, and I will meet you in the cafe." Sadie said.
"Okay, thanks guys." I said.
I quickly changed into my other uniform and Ian and I were off.
"Why did you run out last night?" Ian asked curiously. "What upset you so bad?"
I sighed, I was going to have to tell him. "My parents they yell, all the time. It gets to me sometimes and it scares me. It makes me want to run and that what I do. Or I find a way to escape."
"Look, I will be there and if he starts yelling at you just say something." Ian said. "Don't worry."
