Chapter 15
Savannah's POV


When I got in, Alicia ran up to me. "Where have you been"?, She asked. "Alicia, I am so sorry. I lost track of time". God, she was beginning to sound like Mom. "Whatever. Some of Edward's friends stopped by. They said that Edward sent them to watch us. Come on. They're still here". She grabbed my hand and led me to the living room. Two very attractive goths were sitting on the black couch in the living room. They looked familiar. "Is this Savannah"?, the handsome male asked. "I barely recognize her". The girl beside him smiled. "Savannah, you remember Alexander and Raven from your Mom and Edward's wedding"?, Alicia asked. "No". "This is them". "Oh. Hey". "Well, we didn't think that you would remember us. You were only a baby when your Mom and Edward got married. But now look at you! A full fledged young woman"!, Alexander said. Now I remembered them. At Mom's wedding, all I wanted to do was play with Alexander's spider ring. I was only two. "So, what are you guys doing here"?, I asked. "Edward sent us to protect you from the Volturi"., Alexander said. The sun was beginning to rise. "I need to get to sleep"., Alexander said. "Raven will watch you guys until sunset". "Why do you have to go to sleep"?, I asked. "There are different kinds of vampires. Some don't need sleep, some do. Some melt in the sun, some sparkle"., Alexander said. "Oh". "I'll see you all tonight". And he disappeared into one of the bedrooms. I decided to go to sleep too. I crashed on the couch. I had a very weird dream... I was in a graveyard and Alec and Claude were standing in front of me. "You need to choose"., Claude said. "Which one of us do you want to spend the rest of your life with? A stupid little boy who would keep you locked in a tower like a bird in a cage and never let you flower into a beautiful rose? Or me? I could show you the world. I could let you experiance things that are worth feeling. I could be your lover, your guide, your mate. Choose me, Savannah. I could make you happy". I looked at Alec. All he said was:"Savannah, please". I walked over to Alec. He looked triumphant. "I'm sorry"., I said to him. Claude was smirking. I walked over to him and our lips met. Suddenly, I woke up. A loud, screechy, guitar was blaring on the t.v. A Slipknot music video was playing and Raven was rocking out to it. I got up off the bed and opened the mini fridge. I needed something to drink. Raven paused the music video. "What's up"?, she asked. "Not much. Where are Alicia and Alec"? "Swimming in the hotel pool. So, it's just you and me". "Cool. So, are you a vampire or a human"? "A human. I want to be a vampire though. I just wish that Alexander would change me". "Trust me. It's not as fun as it sounds. But then, I'm only a half-vampire so, I wouldn't know". "Alexander's cousin is a half-vampire". "Really? What's his name"? "Claude". I froze in surprise. Raven continued:"He's really evil. He wants to be a full vampire so that he can cause havoc and mayhem". My jaw dropped open. Could it really be true? Could I really trust these half-vampires who were like me in so many ways"? Part of me said no. But another part of me said yes. The part of me that said yes was a part of me that I never knew. A darker, more mysterious part. "Savannah? Are you okay"?, Raven asked. "I'm fine. Just daydreaming". "Ok. Well, I'm going to take a shower. Will you be alright"? "Yeah. I'm going to call a friend and then just wonder around for a bit. I'll be back later". "Ok. I'll see you in a minute". I left. I pulled out my cell phone and dialed Claude's number. He answered on the first ring. "Hey Angel"., He greeted me. "Hey. Can we hang out"?, I asked. "Yeah. You can come over to my room. I'm the only one here right now so, we won't be bothered". "Cool. I'll be right over". "Ok. My room is Room 132. I'll be waiting in anticipation". "Ok". I got into the elavator. What did he mean by 'he would be waiting in anticipation'? Did he like me? I was already facing alot on my plate as it was. I didn't know if I could handle another person liking me. I got out of the elavator and went to his room. I knocked on the door. Claude opened it. "Hey beautiful. Come on in". I went inside. But before I did, I looked back and I could have sworn I saw Alec staring at me.
