I sat in the window sill wondering why I was doing this. I live in New York, and was going to California to get a better scholarship. And to escape the bubble of pain I was in. Summer vacation was coming to a close, and I had to get to collage at West Coast Academy home of the Hawks. I just had to get away from New York, ever since my mom died 2 months I lived in constant pain.
My dad, Charlie said it was a good idea to move away to another collage, that hopefully I would start acting like the normal me, not some sorrowful person I am now. My mom was dead, died in a car crash, and I never got over it, she was my best friend. The funeral was all I could hope for, family and friends came to the funeral, it was nice, almost peaceful in a way. I didn’t want to leave New York but I had too.
I wanted to get away from this, as my father put it moping. I wanted her back, but that was never going to happen. Even worse when my best friend Claire wasn’t there for me, she avoided me. In every way possible for her, calls, texts and even me coming and knocking on her door. My life is falling apart, that’s why my dad said it would be good if I got a ‘fresh’ start.
“Bella, come one you’ll miss your flight if you just sit there.” I stared up at my dad, his arms full of boxes of my things I’ll be taking to California.
“Okay.” I stood up, picking up the little cat carrier, with my kitten, the same one my mom gave me, Ashes.
I walked out the door and down the steps. I woke to someone shaking my shoulder slightly, it was one of the flight attendants on the plane. I turned around and no one was there, besides me and the flight attendant.
“Shoot! Thanks for waking me up!” I grabbed my laptop, that I didn’t use on the flight and ran off the plane in a rush.
I quickly walked towards the carousel, hoping to find my cat and luggage. My poor cat must have been rotating on the poor thing for hours! I would have to make it up to her. Poor thing. I grabbed all my things, and took it to the nearest cab outside the airport. I never been to California, I barley ever left New York City let alone the state. I looked in wonder as I saw the school and the sign ‘Welcome to West Coast Academy, Home of the Hawks.’ I dragged my things into the main office.
I walked to the front desk where a woman stood, with papers. “I’m Isabella Swan.”
“We’ve been expecting you, here’s your schedule, dorm room, and the key to that dorm. You also have a room-mate. The dorm is two bedroom 1 and a half bath with living room, and a kitchen.”
I hoped the room-mate was nice. I never shared a house with anyone before, not like this. I also hoped she wasn’t allergic to cats.
I got a lift from a Staff member in a golf cart. I wandered around the dorms looking a little lost trying to find room 126. I eventually found it and knocked on the door, expecting the room-mate-I-never-met would open the door.
A short girl opened the door, spiky black hair and green eyes were the most dominate feature.
“I’m Isabella Swan and I’m your….” I couldn’t even get the entire word out before the pixie hugged me half to death.
She pulled back and introduced herself as Alice Cullen. She pulled me in the door excited, I assumed. She picked up some boxes of my things.
"I'm so glad I finaly have a room-mate. Jasper, my boyfriend, said i should have someone here with me. Since this is a big place. Your bedroom is right here." She opened two french doors, the glass was disfused so no one could look in, privacy. The room was light, airy. Peaceful, the walls were a light charcoal gray, and big open french doors opened to a balcony witch looked onto a courtyard, full of people eating. I looked at the dark wooded floors they almost looked black.
But in the sunlight shining you could see the brown in them. I stared at the room, i would have to do quite alot to make it mine. Ashes meowed loudly from her cat carrier and Alice just stared at her. I bent down and opened the latch, freeing her from the carrier. She darted out of the carrier and slid into the wall. She didn't have much traction on the hard wood floors, so she couldn't run properly. It was almost funny to see, her running and moving absoutly nowhere then running, then her trying to stop only to have the wall stop her for her.
"Isabella?"
"Call me Bella." I hated my whole name it sounded, formal.
"You have a kitten?"
"Do you mind, she isn't a menice like other cats."
"I love animals!" She tried catching her only to freak her out more, they were running around the room.
I patted my legs and Ashes came over to me.
"Hm.. She is well trained, almost like a dog."
"Kinda. Her name is Ashes."
I passed her over to Alice. Ashes went willingly, but started purring the moment she touched Alice. Appearently she liked her.
I heard a knock on the door, and Ashes skittered out of Alic's hand and back into the carrier hissing. I had the weirdest cat ever. Alice danced out of the room to answer the door.

This is my Twilight book. Number seven! (Behind Twilight, Forever Dawn, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, and Midnight Sun) This book is mainly in Renesmee's POV and a little of Jacob's. Enjoy!

Oh, how I wish I were a glove so that I might touch that cheek.
Romeo and Juliet, The Balcony Scene
PREFACE
It was scarier than anything I could've ever imagined. And, honestly, I had never expected it to come to this. I had wanted this in the begininng but never thought it would work. But it had, and now I understood my mother's story. Only this was much worse.

Hi, I'm Isabella Swan but you can call me Bella. I live in Forks, with my father Charlie. I've lived in this tiny town my whole life. I know every corner, every bush, every tree like the back of my hand.
My best friend is Jacob Black. He lives a few blocks away from me, on La Push Drive. We've known each other since we were kids, and we've always been close. Never left each other for anyone. Always been each others rock. When my mum left, he was my shoulder to cry on. When his mum died, I was at his house 24/7. Nothing has ever come between us. That was, until a new family moved into town, who called themselves the Cullens.
comment, tell me what you think so i know if its worth finishing!!!
