"That was awful," he groaned. "They all looked exactly the same. You're lucky you had Cullen for a partner."

The rest of the week was uneventful. I got used to the routine of my classes. By Friday I was able to recognize, if not name, almost all of the students at school. In Gym, the kids on my team learned not to pass me the ball and to step quickly in front of me if the other team tried to take advantage of my weakness. I happily stayed out of their way.
Edward Cullen didn't come back to school.

TWILIGHT - chapter 1 - FIRST SIGHT

Edward was late. He was usually dead on eight if he didn’t turn up before. It was half past eight and I was worried. I paced up and down the living-room. Jacob sat on the couch and watched me. He was just as worried as I was. Edward had impeccable time-keeping, he would call if he was going to be late, he didn’t leave me in the dark like this.
I was thinking all sorts. Had he gone to that stupid castle to get Mitchell? Was that stupid Mitchell here and he’d gotten Edward? Was Edward hurt? Was he having second thoughts about marrying me?

I decide after my shower to go for a drive, to learn my way around, because we had never lived in Forks before. I claim in and started my 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS, I wish I could have had a newer car but we had to blend in. I drove out and decide to go to pick up some food, this was all part of the act, because people did start to notice when you never bought any food.
As I walked into the store the strong sweet smell of vampire hit me like a brick wall.

Today is the day I am going back to Forks. Today is the day I am moving back to Charlie's house. It's not like I don't like Renee it's just I want to give her some alone time with Phil. They started to show more PDA now that they're married and I wanted to give them some privacy.
