I burst in through the back of the base, frantically running for not my life, but my love's. I eventually found the Council meeting room. My breathing was uneven. The adrenaline was pounding at my face as I slammed into the door, breaking it down.
"Ethan!" Naomi screamed out in joy. She flew into my arms in a panic. In a daze, the three other vampires leaped out of their seats onto the hard floor, their eyes glowing from the hint of crimson red. Of course, mine probably didn't look as fierce, because mine and Naomi's shined a honey gold.
Me and Naomi preferred animals over humans, unlike the rest of our family. Even Tessa fed on the mortals. It was kind of awkward that we all went seperate ways to hunt, but we got by.
"I suggest you explain why you are busting down our doors." Sayher demanded.
"Isn't it kind of obvious? I mean, you are supposed to be the oldest of the vampire race, you should know that," I teased. This act caused him to let out a growl. As I pushed Naomi out of the way instinctively, Sayher pounced and knocked me to the floor. Akena came rushing up from the hallway, snarling at the sight she saw.
"I'm sorry to interrupt, but I've rounded up the humans," Akena announced.
"Perfect. Thank you, Akena," Jaide praised. "By the way, Naomi, we have reason to believe you have had contact with a human, is that correct?"
"Yes, but..." Naomi stammered.
"We know all about her, Naomi. Her name is, Hillary Price, is that correct?" Jaide interrogated.
Naomi let out a gasp of horror and released all her anger. "Now how did you find all this out?" she screamed.
"It was very simple, actually," Derrik began. " We just looked up her records and found what we were looking for. Hillary Price, age 20 years, address: 4378 Hatcher Avenue, Dallas, Texas."
"I haven't talked to Hillary in five years!" Naomi revealed.
"She knows your secret, and until something is done, she is a threat," Sayher explained.
I knew nothing of this girl, Hillary. Who was she? Anyways, I need to find out more.

"Kill her."
