I was tired as usual. Once again for the fifth time this week, no challengers. It is so quiet in the Pokemon League that you can hear a pin drop, and know exactly where it landed. I glanced towards the pillars in the foyer. The afternoon sunlight, shining on the grand statue in the centre of the Elite Four Foyer. I was enchanted by it's brilliance.
I was standing on the top step to my room. Silently I gave a long sigh. As I turned around slowly, I briefly looked back at the statue, then walked slowly to my room. Until I heard a bellow from the Champion himself.
"Grimsley," he spoke, "Why don't you join the rest of us? We're heading to Undella Town for some R & R!"
I sighed again. Showing him that I was not interested, and that I didn't want a tan to ruin my vampire complextion.
Alder waved, "Suit yourself Grimsley!" And then he left the Pokemon League.
I didn't know what I wanted to do. Everyone was at Undella Town. But I heard something, immediately after Alder took off. There was a noise coming from within Marshal's room. It sounded like he was training. Then I told myself, I am not alone, I have my Pokemon and my rival-friend beside me.

The brute gazed at me.
"What do you want Marshal?" I snapped.
"You're never like this Grims. What's wrong?"
I fell silent. I am not telling him my thoughts, nor any feelings what-so-ever.
"Look, if u need to talk just tell me ok?" Marshal walked off.
I was alone. Again. But I never paid any mind at all. Besides, I've always accomplished more tasks when I am independent. No other humans bothering me. But there was one thought that nagged at me and tormented me for the next few hours. I actually liked having Marshal around.
