Chapter 2
I was hyperventilating as my angel walked past me on to his first class. He walked into the door of Mr. Emmi’s class, which was also my first class. I learned that my angels name is Stefan . His sisters names were Colleen and Carmen. His brothers, Jacob and Leo.
His voice was heavenly. Sweet and daring. He walked to the last empty desk. It was beside me. I moved my purse from off the desktop and smiled at him politely. His answering smile made me hyperventilate again. I could have sworn I heard him chuckle.
We had an easy assignment today and I was soon left with nothing to do. Stefan looked over to me and said quietly “Hello. My name is Stefan. Would you tell me where my next class is please?” Wow. He spoke to me. “Um.. Sure.” He handed me his schedule. I looked it over twice, amazed. “ All our classes are the same.”, I said, bewildered. “ Well that’s very convenient. You could walk with me to show me the way.” It took me a while to respond but I said “ Sure, of course.”
He smiled but said nothing the rest of the period. When the bell rang, Stefan rose swiftly and waited patiently for me to gather my belongings. We walked silently to Mrs. Thompson’s class. Again the only empty seat was beside me. We both laughed at the coincidence. His laugh was the most wonderful music I had ever heard in my lifetime. He looked at me often throughout the day, because we were always sitting together.
At lunch he sat with his family and I was intimidated by them. They were all very pretty ( that was an understatement). The blonde shorter boy was Leo. He sat next to Colleen and they were staring intently into each others eyes. Carmen and Jacob were talking to each other and laughing frequently. Jacob was tall and slim but muscular. He had bronze colored hair that was shorter than Stefan’s. Carmen was small and slender. She was extremely beautiful but she looked like she was conceited. She had long, brown, curly hair to her waist. Colleen was even more beautiful than Carmen and she had a beautiful figure with short, spiky dark brown hair. She had eyes exactly like Stefan’s, in fact they all did. She looked up at me and smiled revealing two fang-like canine teeth. As I looked closer they all had them. It was slightly scary. I quickly looked away from her gaze.
Stefan called my name. I looked up and he was waving for me to come to them. I reluctantly rose and walked over, tripping on a chair on the way there. His family stared at me intently.
