We spent a wile in the shed and it was getting close to nine o'clock "crap" i said wile jumping off the floor onto my feet "it will be getting dark soon and we still have to walk to the lake." Kelly laughed to herself and got up "well" she said "lets get going." Kelly put the half empty bottle back in her bag and we went to help Amanda up, she wasn't taking the alcohol to well. We all walked out of the shed will our arms around Amanda. We were about 6 blocks away from the lake, and at this rate we were just going to get there in time for the fire works. Time flew wile we were listening to Kelly's music on her phone and in a matter of time we were there. We arrived at the very crowded lake full of blue people running around to people sitting having picnics. "Here are my favorite girls" yelled a familiar voice and we all turn to were it was coming from "Oh jack" Blurred Amanda and kissed him lightly on the lips. "i see your having a fun time" he laughed at her. "Want some?" She asked "sure why not, i will supply the smokes" "oh thank god, i have been craving all day" Said Kelly. They started to walk off then turn to me "Ya Coming?" "ummm..." i started to say but then my phone vibrated in my pocket. I pulled it out and read it.

i smiled at the phone and looked back up "im going to go see nick" i said "oh have fun" said Amanda smiling. i walked over to them and kissed them both on the cheek. "where is mine?" He asked "that's Amanda's job" i laughed " i will be back later, text me alright?" "yupp ok, catch" they said and walked off. i turned around and started walking to the boat shed. im glad he said the high school one because there would be a hundred little sheds around here. Soon enough i saw him leaning against the wall. Nick and i have been high school sweethearts. We have been going out for 3 and a half years now. He always looks the same with his short spiky dark blonde hair and his cute little smile. i ran up to him and he grabbed my waist and spun me around wile he kiss me. He has that short sweet kiss that makes you melt."hey little girl" he said in his strong voice "Hey" i replied "Wanna sit with me and watch the fireworks?" "i would love to" i told him. He grabbed my hand and took me behind everyone and sat near the road on the grass. i rubbed my arms at the cool breeze that came by. He Smiled and took off his flannie and pasted it to me "thanks" i said wile taking it "that's alright, i will be right back im going to get us some drinks" he kissed me and walked off to his family near the shed. i put on his flannie and felt the warmth and the amazing smell of him. i felt safe wearing it. i love Australia day. The day that smells like snag's on the barbie, the sounds of happy people laughing within friends and family and the view of the lake, and knowing this is home. i was lost in thought when out of no where this massive hand was over my mouth and around my waist and i was getting dragged away. i took that last glimpse of nick and every thing went black.
