Adam West was known for playing one of the most family-friendly versions of Batman of all time. He had a reputation for being a wholesome source of heroism and comedy. Because of that, it might be surprising to learn that his second most iconic role came from one of the most inappropriate cartoons of all time. He became a regular cast member in Family Guy.

After starring as Batman in three seasons and one movie, Adam West struggled to get work due to being seen as just Batman. For a long time, he had to settle on either playing Batman or playing characters that were like Batman. However, his career went through a major change when he was given the role of the mayor of Quahog in Family Guy. The mayor was named Adam West, but the character wasn't meant to be a fictionalized version of the real Adam West. Instead, it was meant to be a character that just happened to have Adam West's name and be voiced by Adam West.

Family Guy mostly focused on the titular family guy and his family and friends. However, the show had several supporting characters that developed large fanbases. One of those characters was Mayor Adam West. Despite not being a main character, Mayor West became one of the most popular characters in the series. His quirky attitude and Adam West's hilarious performance made Mayor West one of the most memorable characters in the series. Family Guy gave Adam West a chance to prove that he was more than just Batman. He was a multi-talented actor that could play a large variety of roles.

Family Guy has gathered a lot of controversy for doing some very wild things that I'm not going to get into detail about. I personally find Family Guy to be hilarious, but I won't pretend that the show hasn't gone too far at times. Regardless of how you feel about Family Guy's more adult jokes, I don't think it can be denied that Adam West was wonderful in the series. Mayor West was easily one of the best aspects of the series.

In a series that can be rather dark, you might not expect the series to deal with the loss of Adam West in a respectful way. However, the series treated the passing of Mayor West with respect and love. Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy, spoke very highly of Adam West. He mentioned how lively and fun Adam West managed to be in his later years in life. An episode of the series ended with a touching dedication to Adam West. Also, the high school in the series changed its name to include Adam West in the name. A relative of Mayor Adam West, that was voiced by Sam Elliot, was brought on to be the new mayor.

Voicing the mayor helped Adam West become popular with a new generation of fans that hadn't grown up with his version of Batman. Family Guy helped prove that Adam West had what it took to appeal to multiple generations. As to be expected, Batman was the character that Adam West played the most, but second place went to Mayor West.
Code Geass is one of the greatest shows of all time. One of the main reasons for that is because of the show's large cast of great characters. Code Geass has so many characters that ranking all of them would be a difficult task, but I've decided to go ahead and rank them all. This article has been one of the hardest that I've ever had to make. It took days of writing and thinking to make, but I believe it was worth it.

Some things to know about my ranking:

I'm ranking the characters based off of my personal feelings. I've been a fan of Code Geass since 2015. Since then, I've developed very strong...

Cast members in both Batman and Batman Returns:

Michael Keaton as Batman

There are a lot of great franchises out there, so picking favorites might not be easy. However, in this article, I will be highlighting the franchises that mean the most to me. The franchises in this article are listed in alphabetical order.

Batman

When it comes to the DC vs. Marvel debate, I like both, but I tend to side with DC. The main reason for that is because of my love for the Batman franchise. Very few characters have had as good of a variety of adaptations as Batman. Batman's gone through countless changes. He's been a lovable symbol of hope, a fearsome anti-hero, a complete goofball...

In the past, I liked to collect VHS tapes and DVDs. Due to losing access to VHS players, I have moved on from VHS tapes. However, I still collected a lot of DVDs. A lot of my DVDs aren't organized, but there are some exceptions. My biggest exception is my Batman DVD collection. I have a specific section just for Batman. That section is at the risk of becoming overfilled, because of how many Batman DVDs I've gotten.

Due to no longer being able to take pictures on my computer, I don't have photos of my collection. However, I can list my collection. If you want to know what any of the DVDs look...

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is a 2002 reboot of the 1983 series of the same name. A lot of reboots have infamous reputations for lacking the appeal of the originals. However, this He-Man reboot managed to be a hit with the fans due to it respecting the original series while also having a lot of different elements that helped it stand out.

In the show, Cam Clarke voiced He-Man. He is best known for voicing Leonardo in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series.

Unlike in the original series, Battle Cat didn't speak.

Kathleen Barr voiced Evil-Lyn. She later went on to voice...

I'm a big fan of the Masters of the Universe franchise, including both He-Man and She-Ra, so it's my pleasure to share some fun facts about the franchise. For this article, I'll be focusing on the original He-Man series, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and the original She-Ra series, She-Ra: Princess of Power.

Originally, a majority of the male characters in He-Man were going to have names that ended with the word Man. This ended up not being used for all of the male characters, but it still applied to some, such as He-Man, Beast Man and Mer-Man.

Skeletor was the main antagonist of He-Man...

It's not uncommon for the most dangerous villain in a franchise to be built up for a long time. Some films won't give their biggest villain a chance to shine in their first film, while some shows will keep their biggest villain hidden for entire seasons. For example, the big villain in Avatar: The Last Airbender didn't show his face until the third and final season. Also, Pokémon's biggest villain, Giovanni, was hidden in the shadows until the 63rd episode of the series.

One of the most built-up villains in all of fiction is Horde Prime. Horde Prime is a villain from the Masters of the Universe...

Elsa from Frozen is one of the coolest characters in all of fiction. Why is that? Well, she literally is cool, because of her ice powers. However, I believe that there's a lot more that makes Elsa such a cool character.

Elsa is both vulnerable and powerful

Some people have a hard time relating to fictional characters that are extremely powerful, because they seem too perfect to relate to. However, I believe that's not a problem when it comes to Elsa. Sure, most people don't have ice powers. However, what makes Elsa relatable is that despite how powerful she is, she isn't always sure of herself....

Blue's Clues is a franchise that has had three shows. In this article, I'll be ranking all three shows. Although two of the shows have problems, I'm a fan of all of the Blue's Clues shows. I would recommend all of them, because they all have a lot of heart and entertainment.

3. Blue's Room

Blue's Room is the second Blue's Clues show. It's a lot different than the original series and the new series. Instead of having Blue be an animated dog that speaks with barks, this show's Blue is a puppet that can talk like a human. Also, instead of having talking objects, Blue is joined by other talking...

Star Trek: Picard served as a spin-off and sequel to Star Trek: The Next Generation. The show introduced lots of new characters, but it also brought back several beloved characters from The Next Generation. This article is to highlight those characters. The show had 3 seasons and 30 episodes.

Before listing off The Next Generation characters, it's important to bring up Seven of Nine. Seven of Nine, who was originally from Star Trek: Voyager, was one of the few characters to appear in all 3 seasons of the show. She had a recurring role in the first season and a main role in the following seasons....

Star Trek: The Next Generation was the second live-action Star Trek series. At first, there was doubt that any Star Trek show could live up to the original, but The Next Generation managed to become a huge hit. This was due to the excellent cast of characters. The show was so popular that it had 7 seasons and 178 episodes.

Katherine Pulaski (20 episodes)

Katherine Pulaski was brought on in the second season to replace Beverly Crusher as the show's doctor. However, the character wasn't well received, so she disappeared after the second season.

Tasha Yar (24 episodes)

Tasha Yar was a prominent crew...

When it comes to Frozen, I'm a bit obsessed. There was a time where I would scenes from the film on a weekly basis. I've also become quite attached to the film's sequel. Due to how much time I've spent studying Frozen, I know a majority of the characters in the film. I even know the characters that I doubt anybody else would care about. In order to show off what an obsessive fan I am of this franchise, I'll attempt to see how many characters I can name from the two films off of the top of my head. Some characters, such as the wolves from the first film or the rock giants from the second film,...
