Nowadays, superhero films are a common thing. We get about ten superhero blockbusters a year. However, that wasn't always the case. There was a time where superhero films weren't very popular or successful. Sure, there were plenty of superhero-themed movie serials in the 1940's, but those types of movies eventually went out of style.

In the 1950's and 60's, there were barely any superhero films. 1966 brought us Batman: The Movie, which was a wonderful film, but aside from that, there wasn't much going on in the world of superheroes.

There wasn't much superhero stuff in the 1970's, but things...

When it comes to anime, Code Geass stands out from the crowd. It's one of the greatest animes of all time, in addition to being one of the best shows of any genre. Before watching it, I saw that it had potential. However, I could never have predicated how great the series would be. There's so many things that make the show what it is. However, there's three particular elements that make the show the best. This article is for discussing those particular attributes. I could go into detail about the songs, music and action, but it would take hours to explain every reason why Code Geass is the...

When people think about Christopher Reeve's first two Superman films, they tend to think of them with fondness and love. However, the 3rd and 4th films got a much different response. Superman 3 is often regarded as a mediocre sequel, while Superman 4 is often considered to be one of the worst superhero films of all time. Personally, I don't agree. I believe that Superman 3 and 4 are both charming tales in their own right.

1983's Superman 3:

Superman 3 is often mocked for being a Richard Pryor comedy film, rather than a serious Superman film. The Superman films are more family-friendly than...

Disney has released a mini-series called WandaVision. The show stars Wanda Maximoff and Vision, who are characters that were introduced in 2015's Avengers: Age Of Ultron. While I have greatly enjoyed some Marvel projects, such as Fox's X-Men films, I haven't been the biggest fan of the Marvel films that were done by Disney. Because of this, I was hesitant to watch WandaVision when it first came out. However, I eventually gave the show a chance, and it turned out to be much better than I had anticipated.

Plot

I have to be vague about the plot, so I don't give away spoilers. WandaVision centers...

In 1991, the world was gifted with the release of Alyas Batman en Robin, a Batman parody from the Philippines. The film has gotten very little attention and love in America, but I've fallen in love with it. In the past thirty years, we've gotten far more superhero films than there's ever previously been. While lots of people adore the serious, sophisticated and dark films we've been getting, I desperately crave the eccentric appeal of the campy superheroes. I know that Alyas Batman en Robin isn't a serious film with a deep story, but there's nothing wrong with that. Films are classified as...

Lennie Weinrib was a voice actor. Despite how talented and special he was, he didn't get enough credit for his impressive work.

Lennie Weinrib was a voice actor in the 1977 Batman animated show. The show was called The New Adventures of Batman. It was done by a studio called Filmation which also did the 1968 Batman animated show.

Lennie Weinrib had tons of work to do in The New Adventures of Batman. The show had 16 episodes. The exact number of characters that Mr. Weinrib voice is hard to know, but he had lots of characters...

When people think about the actors and actresses who have played the Batman characters, they likely think of the 60's Batman cast and the cast members from the various cartoons and films that were done by Warner Bros. I believe that all the casts are significant and worth celebrating, so it's my honor to highlight the cast of Alyas Batman en Robin.

Alyas Batman en Robin was a film that was scheduled to come out in 1989. However, Warner Bros. feared the film was trying to compete with their own Batman film that they had coming out that year. Alyas Batman en Robin was not officially made with...
