"Eight years ago, a terrible mistake almost annihilated planets Earth, Gaia and Yoko.

Those planets are located in three different dimensions and it would normally be impossible for them to interact with each other. But by a freak accident, a scientist from Gaia opened a portal that transported him to our home planet Avalon.

He managed to find out about Earth and Yoko while he was there and became determined to make their existence known to his planet.

After two years, the rulers of Gaia, thinking they were superior in strength, ordered their armies to attack Earth, but were not aware that Earth had very powerful vampires who managed to hold them at bay.

When Avalon learned of the attack, it was decided to choose three guardians among the inhabitants from the three planets. The guardians’ mission was to help protect peace between the planets. But after a few months, the guardian from Gaia betrayed the other two in the middle of a battle. Before their deaths, the latter managed to destroy both sides’ portals. We succeeded with capturing the traitor and imprisoned him on Avalon until something could be done about him.

What future waits for Avalon? The stakes are high.

Will we witness the destruction of the worlds?

She sat by the window, listening to the sound of the rain falling outside, it was a dark and cloudy day, but for now that was something she did not see because she seemed to be lost in a trance of thoughts. A sudden roar of thunder broke that trance and she was snapped back to reality. She looked around her surroundings trying to remember where she was; the room in which she sat was empty and so was the house, no one lived there anymore. She turned back to the window to stare at the rain when her eyes fell on an object that was lying on her lap, it was a photo frame. She picked it up and looked...

The sun peered in through the curtains and shone through the eyelids of Mitchell Welby, waking him up. It was a beautiful September morning to launch the makings of a wonderful day.
Sitting up and pulling the covers off his body, he got out of bed and stretched. A budding of excitement filled his gut – today was his first day as head chef of Michon Ruber’s, he had worked seven years to get this far in his career. Crossing his arms in front of his chest, a grin broadened across his face; today would be a great day.
The sweet smell of bacon wafted up from the kitchen downstairs on the first...

So here's the beginning of what I've got for the short story I'm writing as my mother's Christmas short story. I'd appreciate any comments, questions, or reviews you've got! Also, ideas for the title would greatly be appreciated too.

There has never been a story such as mine. I speak the truth when I say that the events that follow actually occurred as they have been written, as unbelievable as they may be. This written journal of sorts is for all those people out there that might not believe me otherwise, except for an account in documented form. But the truth is a rather...

So this is the plot of my book. DONT BE NICE OKAY!!!!

Milgas Gonailm is an Elf who lives in a forest. This forest lies in the land of Puleaveh, a land filled with creatures as dwarves, Dondurs (a type of early leprechaun), Men, and others. Anyway Men haven't lived here in a while, they left a long time ago. Now they've come back because their land was invaded by an ancient evil. Now the races of Puleaveh have hated each other for a long time. But they don't want to harm the world with war, so they keep to themselves. Milgas volunteered to go on a journey to unite the races to fight against this evil.

So what do you think?

Friends, family and a few special guests will gather tonight (Sunday, January 29, 2017) at a Salt Lake City venue to celebrate the launch of author Les Bailey's newest offering to the literary world. It's the sequel to his first book, this one titled, The Vampire Game ll: Acquisition.

I first read this book on my Kindle device during a flight home for a vacation and at the urging of a mutual friend of the author's--and honestly, I wasn't able to put the device down. The story was very unique for being a vampire tale. Very well thought out and masterfully written. This story captured me right...

In an early morning interview to promote his next book, Ellen, the second installment in his "Stars" series of fan books, busy author Randy Jernigan lamented the stresses of the political season saying he'd be happy when the race comes to an end.

"I get a little too worked up when it comes to politics--I tend to take it all quite serious and it leaves me stressed out. Especially this election," the writer added. "It worries me that we have a candidate that spends most of his times telling large groups of people obvious lies about his opponent and participates in outright fear mongering about...

Hey guys!

So I know a few of those who'll come across this page and think it's exactly like the 'Writing' page, but it's not. This group is for everyone who wants to publish a piece of writing that they've started, finished, or are editing. It's like those groups a lot of authors tend to join to get help on their books, songs, short stories, plain ol' ideas, or screenplays.

The Writer's Club is all about coming together to help each other achieve their best work and even publish their work. We can help one another by reviewing chapters of books that have been posted as articles, by reading lyrics that may not be quite right, or to just see what kind of audience a piece of work is suited towards.

Anyways, if anyone has questions, just give me a shout out, otherwise feel free to post any pieces of original material for constructive debate!

- M.
