This is a dream I had. Just wanted to get it out of my head. XP
The three of us laughed; my friends and I. It was a fun Friday night, with the parents home, and sister sleeping over at a friend's house. Lydia and Alli were over, just having a good time. We sat in the family room, with only those room lights on, and the TV on.
Then from outside, there was a strange sound. We all froze.
"What was that...?" Lydia asked. Neither Alli or me spoke. We were all frozen in fear.
"Come with me, you guys," I said, standing up slowly. We slowly went into the kitchen, and then the living room, looking out the window to the front porch. I sighed a deep breath of relief. "It's ok. The porch light just went out."
"Thank God," Alli sighed.
I decided I needed to fix the porch light; so my parents would be able to find the house in the dead of night when they came home. We grabbed a step stool, and a new light bulb, and went out to fix it. The moon shined on the lawn, making it somewhat visible to see. It took only as couple minutes to fix.
"There. Done," I said.
"Um... Guys?" Lydia asked nervously. She shook the door handle. "It's locked!"
"Great..." Alli whimpered.
"It's fine; we'll just go through the garage door," I told them. We walked over to the garage door, and I punched in the code. Nothing happened. "Crap," I grumbled.
"Oh no..." Alii said, starting to freak out. My throat closed up, but we had to stay calm. Freaking out wouldn't fix anything.
"Alli, w--"
"Shh..." Lydia said, her eyes wide with fear. "Do you guys hear that...?" Alli and I closed our mouths, and listened. There was the sound of something being dragged across the sidewalk, being lifted, and dropped again. It was the sound of old, rusty chains. Terrified out of our minds, we ran onto the porch, pressing our backs up against the wall.
Along with the sound of chains, we heard someone mumbling. I squinted my eyes, trying to see more clearly in the darkness.
Then he came into view.
He was quite tall, and frighteningly skinny. His jaw bones were very much visible, and so were the bones on his arms. His hair was short, but all messed up. His teeth jutted out awkwardly from his mouth, similar to a horse's. His pupils were pin points.
He was mumbling something to himself, chuckling every once in a while. Goosebumps were all over me, and my breath was quick and short. The man dragged some rusty chains behind him, which appeared to be covered in something other than rust... It looked like blood.
He stopped about ten feet away from the porch, and started laughing, looking straight at us.
"Go away!" Alli shrieked. He continued to laugh a little while longer, then stared Alli right in the eye.
"You'll thank me later," he said in a shaking voice. My heart thudded in my ears; his voice was barely audible for me.
"Go away!" we all screamed, terrified. He laughed some more, then walked away into my neighbors' backyard. We waited for the sound of the clanking chains to cease, but they didn't.
We peered around the side of the deck, to see him walking around in a circle, swinging the chains above his head. He grinned at us, and then walked towards us, still swinging the chains. We screamed, but had nowhere to go. By the time we made it to the porch gate, he was there.
"You'll thank me later," he chuckled. I opened my mouth, and let out the biggest scream ever. He swung the chains like a whip, hitting Alli across the face. She screamed, and fell to the ground. I saw a pool of blood. Lydia and I screamed again.
We pounded our fists against the door, and ran alongside the porch, like a frightened animal. The man laughed louder, and the threw the chains like a lasso, hooking Lydia around the neck. Now both my friends were dead. I was alone.
"Leave me alone!" I cried. I pounded my fists against the door again frantically.
I heard the swinging chains in the air.
