Sun shining like a holy light. After getting out of the tent, I was welcomed by such greenery and wildlife. Such green lush beauty in the glowing morning light made everything just pop and colorful. So many different shades of green and nature all around. I definitely didn't get this New York! The lush vegetation, the scenery, the little cute monkeys climbing around, it was like being in a zoo almost. I heard rustling in the bushes, and prepared myself for an animal attack. As soon as I saw my sister's pink tennis shoe pop out of the bushes, I was slightly relieved. The girls walked out of there, as I asked,"Where were you guys?" "Using the bathroom nearby. There's a really good place near our camp. Let Jessica show you where it's at." I followed Jessica to where this place is. As we were walking, I looked at her and asked,"Do you find this place beautiful?" "Actually, yeah I do! It's so green and alive. I feel like I'm in a movie or something, except I don't have to read a script or listen to some famous director." "I wish I brought my art stuff with me." "Yeah, you could paint something really gorgeous from your artwork." "You've seen my artwork?" "Oh yeah! Debbie brags about your art all the time." "I didn't know that. I thought she hated me." "Hates you? No. Jealous of you? Yeah." "She's jealous of me?" "Yeah. She's always scared to show her true opinions about stuff. She isn't happy. You are." "I'm not, actually. Adam, my fiance', controls me. I can't get away from him. Mom and Dad set us up, and they never believe me." "I'm sorry. I hope you can dump him soon." After that and everything, we walked back to camp. Olivia looked at me and said,"Feel better, now?" "Yeah, thanks. I'm hungry though." "Debbie is fixing some breakfast. She brought her mini fridge and cooking bag. I swear, whenever we go anyway camping or something, she always brings that thing!" I giggled to myself and replied,"Deb's a nerd when it comes to food. She's been cooking since she was seven, so leave her to her work." I headed towards my tent, as I changed into my clothes: A blue and white striped spaghetti strap tank top, blue denim short shorts, white socks, and my hiking boots that I got for last summer. Roxy and I were hiking somewhere in Tennessee, and she was bitten by a brown recluse. We had to call for help, and EMT's came and took us to the hospital. A few days later, we went back to New York and decided not to go camping or hiking for a long time. The bite was pretty painful and traumatic for the both of us, especially since it's made our arachnophobia worse. I can't even flush a small house spider without screaming now, and Roxy can't even look at a spider, and gets goosebumps if there's one on t.v. I walked out of my tent, as Debbie asked,"Where are you going?" "On a walk." "Without breakfast?" "I'm going to build up an appetite." "Okay then, but if there isn't any breakfast left, don't come crying to me." "I won't." I walked away, knowing Debbie she'll make more. Hey she maybe a cold hearted woman at times, but she's not made of stone. She cares sometimes, and that's the thing I really love about her. She can be so mean, but she is human and she does care. I bet they're wondering why I'm walking into the non-campsite part of the jungle. I love exploring and walking around without people telling me what to do. Just looking around at new things that I've never seen before is just fascinating to me. Taking mental notes and pictures, to get details on places, and telling people about them. To let others know what beauty I've seen, and to use these locations in my writing and artwork to show that there is such beauty that exists. As I was walking, I came across some type of middle ground. It looked like it could be a small campsite. The ground wasn't very green, it was a bit more brown with dead leaves on it. Lush vegetation and trees surrounded the ground in a circular way, and there was a huge rock like formation with vines and moss on it. It was oddly quiet, and I didn't see any monkeys swinging around or anything. It was silence. Pure silence. As I started to walk around the area a bit more, a male lion jumped out and started growling at me. He slowly approached me, as I walked backwards, backing up into the rock formation. The deep ferocious yellow eyes with a black center and a black ring around the yellow parts of the eyes. Yellow sharp teeth showing, sharp claws coming out of his paws, his tongue licking his lips in satisfaction, knowing that I'm going to be food for him. I tried to stop screaming my lungs out, but something inside of me couldn't stop. No one was around. I couldn't be saved. I was going to end up being in a lion's stomach.
The wild man, asleep soundly on the tree branch, as a small little monkey was tugging on his loincloth. The wild man awoke from the tugging, as he looked at the monkey, furrowing his eye brows at him. The monkey gave him a sad little look, as the man smiled a little at the cute little monkey in front of him. All of a sudden, he heard screaming. He had never heard of this screaming before, but he grabbed a vine a followed the noise of the screaming. He jumped onto a nearby tree branch and saw a human woman screaming at a lion. He yelled ( his victory yell), as he started swinging on a vine and landed on the ground to fight the lion.
A guy with messy dark shoulder length black hair, tan skin, muscular, and wearing only a leopard print loincloth swooped down from a vine and started fighting the lion. The lion looked very strong, but the man seemed even stronger. The guy pulled the lion up from his back and dragged him into the bushes. I walked toward the bushes, as I couldn't find them anymore. It was so weird and out of the blue. To make things even worse, it started to rain very hard. I turned around and found the wild man standing right there. I gasped and said,"Oh crap! You scared me! Uh, I-uh, um, what was that for? I mean, thanks for saving me and everything, but why did that lion come after me? I didn't do anything to him. I just-" He put his index finger on my lips so gently. He lifted me up with his strong muscles and carried me away. He climbed up a tree and grabbed a vine and started swinging on it. I held onto him and closed my eyes. I hate heights ever since I was little. Being up really high and not touching the ground freaks me out. We landed on a branch on a huge tree, as we crawled under the leafy parts. They weren't very good umbrellas, but it had to do for now. I was kinda spooked by the wild man, but he wasn't trying to hurt me. He seemed so...confused about me. In fact, I don't even think he's seen an actual human before. He grabbed my left arm and held it up, and put his left hand on my left hand. While he was still touching my left hand, he put his head on the left side of chest. I was nervous and said,"Uh, what are you doing?" He lifted up his head, and then after he sat up a bit straighter, he touched my head and put it on the left side of his chest. I think he wants me to listen to heart beat. After I lifted up my head, I got a good look at him. He was attractive. Very attractive. The long dark hair, the sparkling amber eyes, so intense, yet it showed innocence in them. His lips were a bit more full than most men I've seen, but they looked so kissable and soft. He crawled right beside of me, and cuddled me. The rain felt cool on my skin, as each drop made a sound that made me feel sleepier and sleepier. The wild man just held onto me, as it kept raining and raining.
I woke up to what looked like morning light. I looked at my watch and said to myself,"I slept through an entire day? Crap! I bet the girls are wondering what happened to me." Since I hate heights, and being up here scares me, getting down would be a huge risk. The guy that saved me wasn't around, but I did see a vine. I grabbed a hold of it and gently got off of the vine. I held on to it really tightly and didn't look down. I heard a voice that said,"Vine swinging." I jumped a little and almost lost my grip. I turned my head to see who it was, and it was him right behind me. I didn't know what it was but something right then and there just hit me: This man is more than just attractive. He looks like a guy in a woman's fantasy or something that she would leave her husband for. I have never seen a man so gorgeous before. He made Adam look like ugly little green algae, and Adam is actually cute, just acts so ugly. This guy however was more than just cute. He looked like someone that would be a gorgeous demigod or something in a Greek mythology tale. I did notice him talking, since he hasn't said one word to me at all. I looked at him and said,"Oh, no I'm not vine swinging. I'm trying to get down. I can't because I'm too scared. Uh....Oh...it's too high up." He got onto the vine and held onto me. He slid down the vine, and it made my stomach roll and flop up and down because it was almost like falling. I breathed pretty heavily and replied,"That kinda spooked me there! I felt like I was going to drop right to the ground." He looked at me with this adorable confused look on his face, and I asked him,"I heard you talk earlier. Can you say other words and phrases?" He shook his head and looked like he couldn't understand me. So, I spoke a wee bit slower, but not in a way where I was saying baby talk or anything,"Do you speak?" He smiled a little and replied,"Yeah." "Oh wow! You can understand me? That's so cool! Um, where did you learn how to speak?" He gave me that confused look again. Maybe he's picked it up near our campsite. I definitely can't ask him if it's the net day or not. Like there's going to be some huge clock here in the wild, yeah right! Again, I asked him a little slower,"What other words can you say?" He looked at me and said,"Howl." "Oh, you mean like howling at the moon, right?" "No." "No?" He pointed at himself and said,"Howl." "Oh! I get it now! Your name is Howl." Since we were introducing ourselves, I went ahead and pointed at myself and said,"Lilith. Lilith." He pointed at himself saying his name and then touched my shoulder saying my name,"Howl. Lilith. Right?" "Yeah! You got it right! Um, let's see here. Uh, have you seen other women that kinda look like me nearby?" He shook his head no. I went on,"I was asking because I have a campsite not too far from here, and there are other women there that I know, and I think they're looking for me. You know what, it's okay. I have a cellphone here, I can try to get a signal." I got out my cellphone, and tried to get a signal. No use. I think it was because I'm too far from where the signals are near our camp. I started cursing to myself and said out loud,"I can't get a signal anywhere. *sighs* Uh, listen Howl, um, could ya help me out here?" He turned around and started listening to me. "I really have to get back to camp. I have to go back. Look, thanks for saving me. The fight with the lion was epic and amazing, but my sister and her friends are-" I couldn't tell him. I couldn't. I looked at him and all around me and calling myself an idiot in my head. Here I am in this gorgeous jungle, it's sunny, it's something new, and I'm here with this really drop dead sexy wild man in a leopard loincloth. This is happening to me, while the girls back there are having breakfast and talking about these sexy celebrity guys that look like squat compared to Howl. Well, in my opinion they do. I love guys with long hair. When I was five, I used to lay on my stomach on my parents floor looking through their CDs of 80's hair bands because I had crushes on guys from Motely Crue, Poison, and everything. I even got pissed when Adam cut his hair because I loved playing with it all the time. I looked up at Howl and said,"You know what? Forget camp for now. I don't wanna go back." "Why?" "My sister and her friends. They...Well, they aren't very nice to me. Let's just say that. I'll stay for a few reasons. The first reason is to repay you. You saved me, so I'll hang out with you and give you some company. You look like you haven't seen another human in a long time. The second reason is, I teach you English and what goes on with humans out there, and you can teach me, only if you want to. Third reason is, I like you. There's something about you that I like. Anyway, um, let's go somewhere or stay here. I want to find a nice quiet place to teach you more words and phrases. Trust me, you're dealing with an English A student and a writer." He held onto my waist and found the nearest vine. I held onto him, since swinging scares me. Like I said,I hate heights.

"It's nice here. I don't know many people though..." Victor brushed his hair back, smiling again. "Well, by tomorrow, all of the kids at school will wanna be your friend." "Oh..." Jade turned slightly to see the raven haired boy deep in thought. "What is it?" "Hn? Oh, it's nothing. Oh, we're here." The blonde looked up ahead and saw her house. "Really? Cause my house is right there." She pointed, and Victor burst out laughing. "Haha-I live right next to you then..." The blonde looked at the house next to hers. It seemed normal. A little old fashioned, but definitely normal. "Cool! Well, I'll see you tomorrow then?" "Yeah..." The onyx eyed boy took Jade's hand, kissed it lightly, then walked off. "What was that?"
Jade Adams was making her way home when she saw him. The dark haired kid everyone had been talking about earlier today was walking in the same direction she was. "Hey! You're the new kid in school right?" "Hn?" The boy turned around to face Jade, making her heart skip a beat. He had to be one of the most strikingly beautiful people she had ever seen. He was pale, with onyx colored eyes, and jet black hair that hung over his eyes slightly. "H-hi. I'm Jade..." the poor girl was at a loss for words when he flashed his dazzling smile at her. "Hey, I'm Victor." She blushed slightly and readjusted her Slipknot tee over her black skinny jeans. "Soo... what road do you turn onto to get home?" "I turn onto Salem road, what about you?" Victor looked over at her again, scratching his head awkwardly. "Me too! Wanna walk home together?" "Sure!" The blonde girl started walking ahead, leaving Victor o follow. "So, how do you like it here?"
