I had a dream that was not at all a dream

The splendid sun was extinguished, and the stars

Roamed the dark eternal space,

No rays or script, and the icy earth

Revolved and blind negrejante the moonless air;

It came and went in the morning - came and brought no day;

And men forgot their passions in the horror

This desolation, and the hearts cooled

A selfish prayer implored light:

And they lived around the fire, and the thrones,

The palaces of crowned kings, the huts,

Addresses, finally, the genre that was,

In flames gave light; Cities is consumed

And the men gathered at the homes igneous

To look once again face each other;

Happy while living in plain sight

Volcanoes and their mountain torch;

Expectation was terrified of the world;

They burned the forests - but hour by hour

Fell, crumbling - and crackling, the trunks

End up in a crash - and all was blackness.

In light of the desperate human forehead

He looked unearthly, if jerky

The lightning struck them, some by land,

Hide crying eyes; supported

Other closed hands to the chin, and smiled;

Many ran to and fro,

Feeding the pyre, and the view raised

With crazy caring for the inky sky,

The pall of a vanished world, and then again

With curses looked at the dust, and howled,

Gritting his teeth, and wild birds gave shouts

And full of terror fluttered along the ground,

Flapping useless; the rudest beasts

Chagas meek and trembling; rojavam vipers,

And intertwined through the crowd,

Hissing, but no fangs - and they were devoured.

And be filled with the war that stopped a while,

And any meal purchased with blood;

And each one sat alone and grim,

Gorging themselves in the dark, love had ended;

The land was only an idea - and it was the death

Immediate and inglorious; and evil cevava

Hunger in all the entrails, and died

Men, unburied flesh and bones;

Skinny people were devoured by the thin,

The dogs jumped their owners, except one,

That remained true to one body, and kept

On guard the beasts and birds and hungry men,

Until the hunger to take them, or those who fell dead

Attract his teeth, he did not eat,

But with a moving and groaning along, and a cry

Fast and desolate, and the hand relambendo

No longer pleased him in return - he died.

Died on the crowd of hungry, slowly, two,

Two enemies who came to meet

Along with the dying embers of an altar

Where holy things were stacked

To a profane use, they decided

And shivering scraped with skeletal hands,

The feeble ashes, and with a weak blow

And no one to live erected a flame

That was just an imitation, then lifted

Eyes when she became more alive, and spied

The face of each other - to see cried and died

- Died of their own and mutual hideousness,

- No one recognized the other in whose brow

Misspelled the name "Devil". The world was empty,

The populous and strong was a massive report,

No stations or tree, grass, man, life,

Lump of death - a chaos of hard clay.

They stopped lakes, rivers, oceans, nothing

Mexia in their silent depths;

No sailors at sea the ships rotted,

The masts falling to pieces, and at the fall,

They slept on the abyss without Mareta,

killed the waves, and tides in the grave,

Already had finished his lordly moon.

The winds withered in the air still, and the clouds

Came to an end, the darkness did not need

Your help - the darkness was the Universe.
