There it was, that fuzzy warm glowing light I always had dreams about... Except this time, I knew it was for real. I was so close! But then I felt something sting into my arm, slowly filling my veins with a warm and yet stinging fluid. What was this? Suddenly I was being pulled back into the world I once knew, and once hated.
My eyes flew open and everything was blurry. For a second it felt like I couldn’t breathe but then I gasped and air filled my lungs. It felt like a giant brick had been lifted from my chest.
I breathed a little shakily and looked around. Standing perched before me, looking down upon me appearing to be an angel, was one of them. But I knew not to be fooled by his looks. I sat up and scooted away, realization he had been caressing my cheek.
I stared at him, my chest aching from my heart’s quickened pace. I knew Panicking wasn’t the option around them, but I just couldn’t help myself. It took all my might not to gather myself to run when he slowly brought his hand near me, I know he was making sure I didn’t run. Then, suddenly, he jerked my wrist towards him, and looked at my Identification scarred into my skin.

He looked at me, and my heart stopped when I saw the emotion in his piercing turquoise eyes. He was one of them, wasn’t he? He looked like one of them, I mean a bit smaller than the average, yet I could still see the outline of abs through his black shirt. I could also tell by his eye color and the way his silver hair framed his pale yet handsome face. Plus, as I looked down at the health vial, I realized no Human could ever get their hands on one of those without going through the city. And if a human were to access the city freely, then that would be illegal and they would be hunted down immediately.
Yet, he had saved me, he had the heart to save me. His thinking process was not like any other Hunter’s, obviously.
In a pitying voice, he asked, “You’re two weeks Thirteen?” I swallowed, nodding yes to his question. He just kept staring at my wrist, not bothering to look me in the eye.
Shakily I asked him, “Wh-Who are you?”
Finally, he looked up at me. “I’m Payne Marbello.”
My heart stopped and I got in a crouching position. Despite my lack of air, I dare glared at him, “The Marbello family?” I growled, then I spat at him, not thinking of my actions.
I jumped, holding myself up by one hand as I swung my leg towards his head and planted my foot into his face. Just as he fell backwards, blood gushed from his new-found wound.
I grabbed him by the collar of his clothing, a nice long black and silver cloak, and pinned him against the maze wall. I quickly grabbed his hunting weapon. With finger on the trigger, I held it to his head. I glared my way into his soul and In a more dangerous tone than before, I repeated,
“The Marbello family?”

As ancient as mother Earth’s treachery
Caught in the line of Athena’s sight
Left alone to travel in this treacherous world
She walks in beauty, like the night
Though with beauty comes this fight of death
In this quest she fails though she tries
Eternally alone in this fateful dark
Of cloudless climes and starry skies
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent
How could it after what happened?
My pain unbearable, yet it happily shines
I look on from Artemis’s tent
As the sun sets on the sea that took his life
The smiles that win, the tints that glow
I will never forget my love for him
As a Huntress I now see Hermes
With the soul of the lost he flies off like a crow
Till we meet again, farewell my love
Caught in the line of Athena’s sight
Left alone to travel in this treacherous world
