Chapter 1: Annabeth
Annabeth paced up and down the deck of the Argo||. For the first time ever in living mermory, her mind was a mess. Being the brightest daughter of Athena, Annabeth was used to being calm and collected. But that was a thing of the past. Ever since Percy went missing, her mind and emotions had been going crazy. Annabeth felt like crying. Percy. Her brave, sweet, occasionally smart, seaweed brain boyfriend. He went missing eight long, nightmare filled months ago. She could still remember the last night she saw him. They had finished dinner by the campfire and were walking along the beach, hand in hand. Percy was annoyned at Clairsse for humiliating him (again) by filling his helmet with fish. Annabeth had started to get tried of him droning on about it and decided to shut him up. She let go of his hand, stood to face him and planted one on him. They kissed lightly for a moment before Annabeth pulled away, smiling. She stared into his sea green eyes which were wide from surpirsement. Then he grinned cheekily, knowing that she loved that smile, and said " Thanks Wise Girl." He pulled her closer, looked into her eyes and kissed her. This time they kissed deeply. Annabeth intiwened her finers in his hair, pressing herself closer. Percy hugged her tightly. Then the horn sounded for bed. They broke apart, said goodbye and that was it. Next day, he was gone.
" Hey, Anna, you ok?" a familr voice broke Annabeth from her daydream. She turned around to face Piper. The two girls had become close friends. When Piper had panic attacks about something happening to her father, Annabeth was there for her. When Annabeth had bad days and could barely find the energy to get out of bed, Piper had been there for her.
Annabeth smiled at her friend. Piper understood what was wrong. " Hey Pipes. I'm fine" she hoped that her friend would believe her and go, but she was wrong. " Anna, i know you're anything but. You don't have to be strong all the time." Annabeth looked into her friends eyes and suddenly tears started trickling down her face. All of her emotions poured out and she hugged Piper, sobs escaping from her mouth. " I'm so scared Pipes. What if he doesn't remember me? What if he found some one he likes better? Wh-What-" Annabeth wasn't able to go one. She just buried her face in Piper's shoulder, crying. Piper patted her on the back. " Don't worry Anna. Percy will remember you. No one could come between you." Annabeth manged yo stop crying and looked up at Piper. " Thanks Pipes. I just haven't seen him in so long," Piper just nodded and started leading her into the command center. Annabeth tried to hid the fact that she had been crying. She quickly wiped her eyes and cleared thorat before stepping in but she could tell from Jasona nd Leo's expressions that she wasn't fooling anyone.
Leo dame up to her. Repair Boy had obviously set something on fire again. He was trying to hide the singed part of his jacket and his hair was sticking up in a funny way. " Hey. Are you done crying, 'cos i can't fly this thing if you're distracting me," he joked. Annabeth narrowed her eyes at him and he quickly went back to the command computer. Jason came over. " Don't worry. We can do this." Annabeth nodded. She knew how hard this was for Jason too. He would be returning after eight months. He went over and gave Piper a quick peck on the cheek. Annabeth couldn't help but feel jealous. She missed Percy so much. " Uh guys, i think we should start preparing for landing." Leo turned around to face them as he said this. Annabeth felt sick. One though passed through her mind.
Oh my gods. We're here.

One lonely sunday afternoon
I sit in my chamber and have nothing to do
My love is far away
I wonder if (s)he's already forgotten me
So I sadly watch the sky
See the raindrops passing by
One looonely sunday afternooon...
One looonely sunday afternoon
One lonely sunday afternoon
I'm even as my flowers still out of bloom
I find some old photos, covered with dust
I cannot forget you although I know that I must
So I sadly let them fly
And this time I have to cry
One looonely sunday afternooon...
One looonely sunday afternoon

you seek for spark of hope.
Your life held by
darkness thoughts,
anchor is
some place else.
Bad luck follows you
like a hook,
won't let you go,
won't leave you alone.
You smile today,
and cry whole eternity,
like that's your fate,
disturbing thoughts
to lie inside of you,
to take away everything
that you hope for.
Devil is calling your name,
leaves you not,
you don't see the angel on
your shoulder,
trying to give you a strength.
You long for life
that you don't know of,
you seek for peace,
trying to get away
from misty forest
that stains your heart
into black.

Journal,
We have gotten fortunate, Journal! Nastea has found coats in the broken down train. She sits by Sasha now, covering her in them. And she took one for herself as well. I can see color returning to Sasha’s cheeks. Nastea coughs harshly, shivering nervously. Her toes are turning blue, and one has already fallen off. We slept in the train last night, getting as much warmth as we could. We have to start to move tomorrow, find shelter. The berries Nastea fed Sasha seem to have made Sasha a lot sicker than she was before. She’s coughing up blood now. The snow around her is stained with red and pink. I attempted to make a fire earlier, and let me tell you journal, it didn’t work out. It’s much to cold to start flames. For every time the fire ignites, it extinguishes, the harsh winds blowing it out. I’m losing my teeth, journal. Nastea can’t talk anymore, and her and Sasha’s hair is mostly gone. Journal, what’s happening to us?
Bye Journal,
Nadia
