It was a cold, brisk day. Nightfall was upon the horizon. I strolled down the walkway towards a baron park. The park looked as if it has been around many generations. The park benches were rusted in a distinguished color clear to the solid ground. Keeping the park in existence, the fig tree leaves filled the surroundings like a flamboyant rainbow decorating the park. So bright, even in nightfall a person could find away through the darken park. Suddenly, beyond the benches, fig trees, a young man stood steady as if withholding his emotions from the outer parts of the world. As, he adventured in my direction his figure suddenly became visual. So visual I could see his black-laced jacket flapping in the wind, wind that didn't even exist just a short few minutes ago. Were did my thoughts escape to in order to drift astray from reality? Was this intriguing male figure capturing my thoughts? Because I was lost in translation I didn't notice where the male figure was, suddenly vanished. Now, the figure was facing me, pulling me astray from my wondering mind. His starring, bright brown eyes captured me in a peaceful trance. His wondrous, soft voice broke the trance. He said " Hello, young lady I've been watching you from a far for quit some time now. Your just so beautiful I knew I had to introduce myself." At first I couldn't decipher if he was trust worthy let alone gather my thoughts together. Then, I began to remember when I first saw him from a far. How he seems to keep his emotions hidden from the world. So I seemingly should trust him give him a chance to prove his actuality. As I pondered the thoughts I noticed the handsome, willed man disappeared into the clearing. Afterwards, I realized how much the man resembled Michael Jackson. The incident later gained my attention for the reason he confronted me. We are connected through the advantage of keeping are emotions shielded from the world's surroundings. We keep our life personal. Even when we have extraordinary talents to pursue, it doesn't mean explaining our personal thoughts to the world. The incident that occurred, I keep close to my heart!! It's remembrance to always remember. Thank you Michael for helping me to realize my true self.

I wonder, sometimes, if she ever thinks of me.
If she knows that I kept only one picture of her. Anything else was just too painful. In the picture, she doesn't know I am taking it until the camera flash goes off. She has been sitting at the desk in her old bedroom, and she is half-smiling.

I walk up to her, not breaking eye contact. Nothing existed but her.
The little girl was perched on her hip.
I trailed my fingers down her jawline. She still didn't move.
"Why did you leave?"

Time is just a thing.
You can't ever have to little.
You can always have enough.
But when you look at it,
our lives are just a piece.
A piece of what time has to give.
So why not live the fullest,
to what we can.
Why waste it wishing,
on something you'll never have.
Let time do its own thing,
so we can do ours.
You see time is mysterious.
It controls our lives.
And in one quick second,
our time may be up.
So take what you're given,
and give nothing back.
With time nothing is ever what it seems.
You can't ever have to little.
You can always have enough.
But when you look at it,
our lives are just a piece.

I'm just drifting, drifting down this road.
The dust kicking up behind me,
Just a cloud to hide my past.
My feet don't leave any footprints,
My name never graces those lips
That I'm watching from a distance,
A distance that grows greater
As I'm drifting, drifting down this road.
I'm not on the way to anything great,
I'm just hiding, hiding down in the dark.
The shadows closing in around me,
Just a blanket to smother my past.
My eyes can't see in the gloom,
My voice never breaks the silence
That I keep deep in my heart,
A heart that grows blacker
As I'm drifting, drifting in the dark.
