Chapter Two
Olivia Meyers hopped in her used brown truck. Today was the day she was going to prove everyone wrong. She wore her purple halter dress with a thick, black belt around her waist. She also had some fishnet stockings and black boots that almost reached to her ankles. Her mom had left this outfit out on her bed this morning. Olivia felt wrong for not wearing it but it made her feel too exposed so she wore a gray jacket also. Her strawberry-blonde hair was extra curly today then usual. It was also extra thick.
She cranked the car four time for it to finally start running. It was her dad's brother's old car. Dad's brother, Michael, wasn't the type to keep anything he touched in perfect condition. She was ecstatic when he gave her the truck for free. She wished that she could buy a better car and not have to always get hand-me downs from relatives.
Montgomery Studios was all the way across town but if she crossed her fingers then maybe she could get there in just enough town but everything must go smoothly. Her life was depending on this one job. This could make or break her dreams. She had heard rumors, vicious ones, about how Mason was nothing more the a dream-ruiner. He had destroyed this one girl so bad that she actually had to due her hair, change names, and move away so no one could say it was her. Those are just rumors. They could be false and Olivia wanted nothing more then for them to be lies.
Mason almost looked cute. He had tan skin and jet black hair which was flipped. Then his really cute sapphire blue eyes melted her soul. It was obvious he worked out. His arms were bulging boulders but not too big or he would have seemed like a heavy weight wrestler. She tried her best not to pass out. She was practically hugging him when he was choking. Thank god for CPR! Mason seemed almost intrigued by her but she quickly passed it off as a trick of the light. Why would a millionaire be intrigued by her? Impossible.
His friend Billy was as handsome as Mason but Billy had this whole other kind of handsome going for him. May dress like he is in the 80's but he had that hot tween vampire features. First off he was really pale. He could be albino but the eyes said no. He had regular grey eyes. His wavy dirty blonde hair was everywhere. Yet that wasn't what made him so handsome. It was his boyish smile that made any woman fall hard for him. Olivia wasn't just any woman. She had fallen hard for his friend not Billy. He was okay but he just seemed too rapped up in himself. Look at her, she only met the man once and she was already judging him.
Olivia was too nervous to see her true feelings for Mason. She didn't want to start something and then have her heart broken in the end. For now, she would just play this whole thing out. Who knows, maybe Mason would like her.
Her truck came to a halt in the middle of the road. She tried cranking it but that failed. She stepped out the car and lifted the hood. A fog of smoke emerged. "Great," she muttered. She pulled her cell from her bag. "Great, it's dead." If she wanted to make it to this audition, she will have to take the dreaded bus. The nearest bus stop was about 5 blocks away. The worst part was walking in her boots. Her feet already ached.
Arriving at the bust stop was like winning the lottery. She had came just in time. The bust stopped and she climbed abroad while laying the bus driver the fee. She went to back and had to endure whistler from guys in the front. Men! One man tried missing her but she kneed him in the stomach. After that, no one bothered her. Olivia took the back seat. She as tired and had decided to rest by lying down.
She must have dozed off because when she awoke everyone was gone except for a child and his mother. Olivia had missed her stop! She was about miles away from where she was suppose to be and she was already four hours late. "Damn it!" She screeched to the heavens. She was late and definitely not getting that acting job and plus she had a long way home.
"Miss may I offer you a ride home, free of charge," the buss driver offered. Olivia simply nodded. She was going to have to deal with her dad's taunts for the rest of the night.
Mason had waited for Olivia to show for two hours. He was a fool to believe that Olivia Meyers would actually show up. He had trusted her and she had let him down. Luckily for Mason he had planned for some other actress to audition. Her name was Cassidy Golden the famous actress from the Giant Man movie. She has skills. "Cassidy you can audition now," he announced. Cassidy got up and sashayed up the stage. Her black hair swaying as she moved.
"Okay I'll read from Adam's part on page 8," said Mason. "Charlotte, I love you and there is nothing you can do about it."
"You may love me but who says I love you." The ferocity in her eyes told Mason she meant it. Almost believable.
"Do you love me?" Mason asked. He felt compelled to walk up on stage right next to Cassidy and he did.
"I don't know," she answered. He was now eye to eye with her. The feeling in the room had him hooked. He wasn't just playing a character he was the character. She was feeling the same way.
"What do you mean you don't know?" He asked outraged now. "We've been together for 3 months now. You must know something."
"Don't tell me how to feel. I'm just not sure." She said.
Without warning, Mason kissed her. He didn't mean it. It was just the power of the script and her acting. Or maybe he had to let something out his system. He didn't know whether it was from Cassidy or whether Olivia had him feeling this way. Then it happened. Cassidy kissed him back. They stayed like that for what seemed like forever but was only a few seconds.
That night Mason went home. He had a mixture of confusion and newfound love. It wasn't like him and Olivia were serious. They only met once just like with him and Cassidy. It was hard to choose. Cassidy was wild and adventurous. He learned that by having a conversation with Cassidy shortly after the kiss. The best way to determine his feelings is to not think about. That is exactly what he did.

Shaped roughly from the rain.
Jagged crevices cut crudely
Not enough patience.
They rudely act out of duty.
Except for the movement that exists here
While the Spheres wait patiently for years
To be tormented from the cemented clouds
However their ever so patient, ever so patient.
Waiting for an ending of the intelligent, ignorant, belligerent.
The battle scarred unknowns secretly wait alone.
For the intricate impatients to lay ruined in lacerations.
Petty conflicts of constant greed, destroying all nations.
So the weather hardened unknowns, wait to be alone.
