1. Cold pizza

It was a cold and rainy day in November. Some people called this rain even snow, but not thus Helena. It was not the type Person all that varnished.
While she rushed by the crowded U platform, it rummaged about him of her pocket for her mobile phone. She tried to type in the scrum the number of her mother, however, without success.
Helena rolled irritated with her eyes. Their mother had said her at noon she must fetch her small sister Allison. And here only so she stood.
On the left from her a hard occupied looking man called up his mobile phone and before her there stood a small boy with a MP3 player whose music she could also hear without earphone. Helena saw impatiently for her clock and hoped imploringly that her mother at least food had made, because she was in starving.
When she came after 15 endlessly appearing minutes, finally, in the right station, it ran to the kindergarten. In the small playground behind the kindergarten already waited Veronica. She was Allisons a group leader. Although Helena found this name incredibly ridiculous.
„ Hello Helena. Allison is with the swings.“ if she welcomed Veronica. Helena looked behind the largely grown young woman and discovered Allison with the brightly painted swings. Then she shouted: „Allison, come please.“
The small girl turned round upon the known voice and her brown hair twisted to plaits whirled. She got up and ran to her sister. „Hello, I is hungry! What gives to eat it?“ Helena had to laugh. This was the first question her Allison every day it put if they saw themselves.
Helena took her small sister in the hand and went with her to the U platform.
„Do we go first home or immediately to Matty?“ Allison saw with theirs to radiant green eyes directly in Helenas face. “First home. Nevertheless, you are hungry or? Then we visit Matthew.“ Allison nodded. The both waited to the right underground came.
Allison loved the journey with them. Helena amuses this only. She found it sweet like her small sister about such a thing simpleton could be glad. But Allison was also only 4 years old.
When they, finally, in the right station came Allison did not want to go, but Helena raised them simply and Allison laughed. The both went for two blocks to them with the skyscraper came in which her flat was. The both went with the lift in the 5th floor and Helena opened the door.
Allison threw plush backpack to theirs mauve in one tilts and ran in the sitting room to her television.
Helena went to the kitchen and saw immediately him luminous, yellow note slip of paper with a magnet was fastened to the fridge. Stood on it:

Are with Matthew. Food is in the microwave. Mum & Dad.

Helena knew these slips of paper to is enough. She opened the microwave and saw the pizza which it had ordered yesterday. She shook the head and slammed the small door.
„What is wrong?“ Helena turned round and noted Allison behind her stood. „Nothing, but we have to eat only old pizza. Should I make to myself something else?“ Still during them these words she also pronounced regretted it. Since there was only one court Allison at the moment loved. "Spaghetti".
Helena put a pot with water on the cooker and looked in the fridge for tomatoes. When she had found, finally, which, she cut them him small pieces and threw them in a pot with some tomato juice. While everything cooked, Helena took the phone and called on the phone of her mother.
„Young Marina.“ „Hey, Mum. Thank you for the pizza.“ Helena said which in the most sarcastic tone she had on it. „I am sorry Helena, it, but I had to go to Matthew and had to cook no time something. And your father is also work I imagined you could eat the pizza.“ „Then you have wrong thought. I make just spaghetti. The fact that the next spot you ask me.“ „I am sorry that I must be with your brother.“ Slowly Marina became furious. Then Helena simply hung up.
When Allison came again from the sitting room, the table was covered and on the plates was food. Allison smiled and sat down on one of the wooden chairs. „Why you have argued with mummy?“ Helena looked at Allison and said on it: „Today I wanted no pizza. Only so. And I have disturbed them. And because often is in such a way, I have shouted at them.“
Helena could not say her small sister that it it sorry was to be played her spare mother. To cook for them over and over again.
For it she loved Allison too much. She could not say this. And her mother already not at all. It would not even become to her to hear.
After food Helena rinsed the dishes and Allison handled in her room to play with her dolls. She loved them. Helena could only smile at this.
While she put away just the last glasses, the phone rang.
„Here Young.“ „Helena, I am it. Your good, old friend Ella. Do you still remember me? I do not know, it is so long.“ „Ella, hear please on theatre to play. This is not witty. I just had no time.“ „This was also not meant wittily. And which you no time had I know. Do we go shopping today?“
Helena sighed. She did not want to disappoint Ella. The both had already been since the kindergarten the best friends.
However, this sigh knew immediately what Ella had to mean.
„You do not come or?“ Ellas voice was cold and something was embittered. She was used that Helena had no time.
„Allison and I go after to Matty in the hospital. And I would see with pleasure once again my mother.“ „Do you not believe yourself like Allisons mother?“ Helena did not know what she should say. Ella was right. With all what she said. But Helena did not want to add this.
„Something. But I would like to visit Matthew. He is already so long in the hospital. He is surely lonesome. And he will be glad if we visit him. You could come along. If you want.“ At the other end of the telephone line Ella shook the head.
„. I am not able to do this. Is sorry me. Then tomorrow we see ourselves at school.“ „Yes, till tomorrow.“ Then Ella hung up.
Helena was all at once so furiously them one of the glasses which stood on the white plastic shelve, with full force on the ground threw. She was so furious. Not on Ella, or Allison, not even on her mother. Only on itself.
Helena turned the shards away with a broom and then got Allison from her room.
„Allison, we go. Dress please your jacket.“ „, But I do not want yet.“ The small girl sat just before her doll house and pulled one of letting off a silver glittering dress.
Helena raised her sister and carried them to the cloakroom. There she drew Allison a poison-green, thickly upholstered jacket. Helena himself stretched fast theirs tiefs

My name is Starr Makenzie and I'm from the future. Don't laugh at me! It's true. I was born on May 8th 2099. I am currently 16 years old but I am in 2009 right now. I read in my book that 2009 was an interesting year for politics and for the economy. I wanted to come here for a couple of reasons but I can't tell you why.
"Starr Makenzie!" My math teacher Mr. Howards yells at me "Pay attention!"
I look up from doodling and see everybody staring at me. They are all just jealous that I'm the only one getting an A+. I'm actually a really smart person but I don't pay attention in class anymore because...

We make them and we break them, because some promises are very hard to keep. Here are the top six most common broken promises...

1."I'll come back tomorrow"
You always hear this from builders, plumbers, and electricians. But the truth is very different. They won't come back until next week(or later). And you will probably need to phone them 5 times first.

2."I won't tell anyone"
We love hearing secrets and we happily make this promise. And at the time we really mean it.'Don't worry,'we say,'your secret is safe with me.'But of course it isn't.Research shows that everybody will always tell one other person...
