(trigger warning: talks about mental health and sh ideation)
Dear Society,
This is a plea
From a broken girl
In this damaged world
A girl who never had the chance
To be herself in fear of being rejected
Cast aside for not following the public norms
This is a plea
For God's sake society,
A girl's body is not a toy
A piece of material to be passed around and thrown to the ground
To be torn and beaten
Bruised black and blue- bleeding through
Her very being
A person's dreams
Are not shared to be downgraded for being
Too childish, unachievable, and unrealistic
And yet, the sky is the limit?
For God's sake society,
Suicide is not a joke
Out of the eight hundred thousand children that take their lives
Or tried and failed to succeed
How much blood covers your hands
Just cuz you 'joke around'
Saying things you don't understand
That girl fights at home
The real reason she's always alone is cuz she's scared
Scared of someone seeing her vulnerable
Since the pressure says crying is for the weak
Wearing long sleeves to hide her scarred over scars
Going through life where everything is bleak
Dear God society,
This is a plea
Since when was suffering admirable
Five foot seven a hundred and ten pounds
Curvy figure and pale skin
So perfect - society says
She's dying! But you wouldn't know
It doesn't matter, just look at her figure
Toxic build up in her body and five years old
Anorexia at ten, bulimia at fifteen
How much longer until it's finally seen
Her ribs - jutting from her sides
Held in place
By only the pale paper mache they call her skin
For God's sake society!
Is there really a reason
For labels and names to organize people in boxes like street signs
Saying what goes in which direction
Piling on a thick cloud and shame and hate
Just because of the kind of person we want to be and date
Dear society,
This was a plea
Isn't it clear?
Things in this era are more than they appear
On the surface -
We're all people here
Playing this game of what society say goes
Cookie-cutter impressions of the human race
Anything different would be a disgrace
When can we act like people and stop moving out of fear
Of things we can't control

Glance the other way
Rip your heart out
I just don't care anymore
You're useless
And uncaring
You know nothing!
Yet you pretend you do
You're a pretender
A pretender is just a liar in disguise
A pretender is a faker
A pretender hides
A pretender is a maker
Of the dark abyss
You told me once
I told you twice
Now what?
Do we forget the past?
Live for the future?
Or remember and continue on our path?
...Decisions...Decisions...
Left or right?
Up or down?
Wrong or right?
Please give me the answer
For I do not know
Right and wrong any longer
Rip your heart out
I just don't care anymore
You're useless
And uncaring
You know nothing!
Yet you pretend you do
You're a pretender
A pretender is just a liar in disguise
A pretender is a faker

Chapter 4: Sunny day
These were the days of peace and happiness.
Days were spent in peace and love.
Jack loved his job, even though he wasn't that patient with children who didn't pay attention on his classes.
But, he knew. He was doing something
important, something useful.
And most of all, he knew that his lovely wife
and beautiful little Gwenny were waiting for him
at home.
Dana was amazing at kitchen.
Jack loved everything she made.
One happy family they were.
Like every morning, Jack would go to work,
and Dana would make a breakfast and some coffee to wake them up.
Morning coffee was something wonderful
for both of them.
After having breakfast, Jack would drink coffee
with Dana, looking at her with the same gentle
and passionate love that never fades.
"I'll see you later, darling." - Jack said and
went to work.
Dana was still sitting and enjoying in the coffee,
watching through the window the sunlight.
She could smell the flowers that were growing
in the yard.

I lied
I lied to them and got caught
I confessed up and told them the truth
but they get more upset
I walk down the dark hallway
into my lonely empty room
I lie on my bed, thinking
I go to move and I can't
I fall down
pain shooting threw me
they walk in
saying I'm faking to make them feel bad
they walk out
leaving me on the ground
crying out in pain
I finally give up
crawl over to the closet
get the gun and cocked it
put it to my temple and pulled the trigger
life...filled with hate
I've chased down all my demons
but it wasn't enough
mistreated,misplaced,misunderstood.
I lied to them and got caught
I confessed up and told them the truth

I keep my rhythm
I tap in time,
My music is my world
An angry beat inside.
It can crash like a waterfall
Or gradually trickle down,
It can make you laugh and cry
That powerful sound.
My headphones on my head
The lyrics flowing though,
Filling up my brain
Music is the food I chew.
It can be beautiful, strange
Crazy and cool,
I couldn't live without music
There's a style to suit all.
Music is like a brand new life
Jumping around your mind,
Each instrument that is played
Is an ingredient to find.
There's nothing quite like music
There's nothing quite like me,
You can always find a friend in music
Music will always be.
