Jacob hugged his wife's waist as she cut into the cake. He laughed as she shoved the piece into his mouth. Then he did the same to her.
Mark walked up to them and loudly said "Congratulation!"
Mark looked at the woman by his side and leaned in, kissing her softly.
"Things really haven't changed, have they?" Jacob chuckled, looking in Sara's eyes.
"Not really." the woman replied with a smirk, "Me and Sara don't really call each other anymore"
"Now we live down the street from each other" Sara said, "Looking good there, Sierra"
"Feeling good too" She replied with a wide smile. Her braces were off, the teeth in her mouth sparkling brightly.
Mark held up a glass of wine and took a sip "I plan on getting a hang over! Anybody with me?"
Jacob shook his head and smiled "I don't drink remember?"
Sierra leaned over and whispered into Mark's ear. His eyes grew large along with his lips that became a un-kept smile. He grabbed her hand and said "We'll be right back" Then the two jogged out of the room.
Sara smiled and looked up into Jacob's eyes "That was funny" she giggled.
"You know he's going to purpose to her tonight, right?" Jacob chuckled.
"They're not the only people having fun tonight" She replied, grabbing his tie and pulling his towards her. She kissed him softly then pulled away as her Dad marched through the doors.
Jacob wiped away the blood red lipstick from his mouth and smiled.
"Daddy, I`m sorry we started without you" Sara apologized as she hugged her father.
"It's fine, Darling. At least I made it to the reception." he smiled back.
Sara talked to him for a moment and soon moved away to talk to Lily. Leaving her Dad with Jacob.
"You've got a little..." her Dad said pointing to Jacob's cheek.
"Jacob rubbed away the lipstick and grinned "Oh... Sorry."
"It's fine. You have nothing to be sorry about. Unless you hurt my daughter"
Jacob's throat went dry, he swallowed un-noticeably and said "And I respect that, Sir"
"Cut the Sir crap" her father snapped "Call me anything but that."
"I can't think of anything" Jacob laughed, rubbing the back of his neck.
"What about 'Dad'?" he suggested with a smile.
Jacob grinned and scratched at his chin. "I'd be glad to" he said, then quickly he lurched forward and hugged the man. "Thanks, Dad."
