I nodded, I knew what I needed to do. I looked at my siblings, gave a smile, adjusted my backpack, and saluted. I purpose was to make the world better, by destroying the School. My siblings didn't know why I was going. Dad was going to tell them after I left. I gave a hug to them, somehow Lexi is always first when I give hugs to a group, then the rest of my beloved family. I looked at Dad, he new I what I was going to do. I hugged him tightly, longer than my siblings. I knew he hated this. That he didn't want this for me. That he loved me. I adjusted my black gloves, brushed the dust off my uniform, and waited as the prototype time traveler gave its hiss. Looking at the world now, all you would see was Erasers, pollution, scientists, and more branches of the School, and Final Exam. I gave everyone one last hug, then stepped into the machine that could save the world, or turn me to dust.
I snapped up, tears streaming down my face. Looking around, I was in my room, in the corner. I stood up, and walked out of my room, to Jaime's. I don't know why, but I felt safer in there than Dad and Mom's room. I opened the door quietly, wiped the tears off my face, and crouched down, getting onto my hands and knees. I stood on my knees to shut the door, then crawled into the corner. Looking up at Jaime, sleeping peacefully under the covers, I curled up on my side, and yawned softly. Corners to me, are like paradise. I don't know why though. I closed my eyes, and pulled up my hood. Slowly, agonizingly slowly, I fell asleep finally.
"Half-pint!" Jaime smacked me with a pillow.
"I'm awake!" I shot to my feet.
"Good morning! Good bye!" I said, walking out of his room, and to the kitchen. I grabbed an orange, then ran up to my room. Got dressed, ate my orange, and ran out of the house. I snapped open my wings, and blurred. I had places to be. And things to do...
