BUAHAHAHAHAHA!
Mel walked into the Cave, when she sensed a presence. She looked over the the corner, where Becca was stroking her knife. As the warrior looked up at the winged girl, she stopped stroking her knife.
"Where's Tyler?" She asked. Mel shrugged, causing Becca to face-plant into the floor. Mel's eyes twitched, as Becca made mummers into the floor. Mel hooked her arms under Becca's, and lifted her up, this was odd.
"TYLER!" Becca screamed suddenly, causing Mel to jump, and drop Becca onto the couch. Frantically, she rushed into Becca's room, grabbed the Tyler plushie, and zipped back into the lounge. Becca snatched the Tyler doll from Mel, and cuddled it until Mel thought Becca would explode with emotion. She watched wide eyed as the impossible-to-break Becca she knew, turned into a mess. While Becca cuddled, Mel looked around awkwardly. The winged girl blinked, and Becca curled up into a ball. Life had been hard on Mel's warrior friend. A small sniffle came from the plushie cuddling-emotional wreck Becca.
"Becca? Do you want/need a hug?"
The girl nodded. Sitting on the couch, Mel wrapped her arms around Becca, and she clung like she would never let go. Mel slowly, brought her hand up, and stroked Becca's hair. The girl sniffled.
"Let it out, Becca."
The girl sniffled once again. Mel rested her head on her friend's, and tears slipped from the warrior's eyes. Mel stroked her hair reassuringly, and the warrior broke out in a small cry. As her cries turned to sobs, Mel continued to stroke her soft, black hair.
"Why-- isn't he-- here!?" Becca choked out between her crying.
"I don't know, Becca." Mel whispered as she started to rock softly.
"I want him! I want Tyler to be here!" Becca choked out.
"I know you do..."
"Why...."
Mel continued to stroke her friend's hair, as she cried on. Her head rested against the weeping girl's head. She sniffled yet again, as the young girl stroked her hair. Becca rested her face in Mel's chest. Mel held her, and stroked her hair. Becca had gotten her breathing under control, and Mel patted her back. The young warrior sniffled, and Mel continued to rock, letting her friend cry once more. Her hair was stroked, and she began to get sleepy. Mel held her close. The unbreakable warrior let out a shaken breath.
"It's okay Becca, go to sleep."
"Tyler...."
"Shh.... Go to sleep. It'll be better in the morning."
"But... Tyler..."
"Shh..."
The young girl, recovering from her break-down, yawned. Mel, in response, stroked her hair and hummed, rocking gently. Becca's eyes fluttered, and Mel continued to rock, hum, and stroke her hair. Becca fell asleep in Mel's arms.
"Goodnight, Becca." Mel kissed her head.
I got permission! Don't be hatin'! I'll chew you out!
